Chapter 56: Helping Gaara

Two of his shadow clones suddenly jumped with the massive Rasengan in their hands and shot it towards the sky.

Because of the stable coating around the Rasengan, it didn’t immediately explode on contact with the Tailed Beast Ball.

Instead, it pushed the Tailed Beast Ball towards the sky.

Boom!

When everyone felt a bright light inside the Arena, they turned their heads. Their head almost exploded when they saw a massive explosion.

The impact of the explosion was contained within the barrier, but it did get released upward.

Even though it moved upward, it went out with so much force that the sheer impact tore through the clouds above them.

And the smoke rose all over the Arena, making it impossible to see what was going on inside.

"You brat, where did you learn to deflect the Tailed Beast Ball?"

Shukaku looked at Naruto in amazement and shouted in a sharp voice.

He realized that Naruto had timed the attack so perfectly that with a Rasengan, he was able to push the Tailed Beast Ball towards the sky.

"Of course, it is by fighting someone."

Naruto patted his stomach and said.

"But I have had enough of this battle. So, Shukaku, let’s end this!"

Naruto said before his body instantly disappeared in front of Shukaku.

"Huh? Where did you go?"

Shukaku asked, only to find Naruto standing on its head.

"You brat, don’t touch my Jinchuriki! I just came out."

He roared.

But Naruto ignored him and said.

"Sorry, but you need to wake up now."

He clenched his fingers, channeling a large amount of Chakra into his fist. With his Sage Mode sensory abilities, he could feel that the Third Hokage was dead.

With the death of the Third Hokage, he needed to take care of Orochimaru. So, he couldn’t pick a fight with Shukaku right now.

That’s also why he didn’t use his Tailed Beast Mode.

Bang!

Although the sand tried to bind Naruto, it tore apart the moment it touched his body.

Wind Nature Transformation Chakra!

It was extremely sharp, making it impossible for Shukaku to grab Naruto with its sand.

It could only watch as Naruto’s fist touched Gaara’s cheek.

Gaara felt a strong impact on his face, as his cheeks rippled for a moment.

Shukaku’s unwilling voice rang in the air, but Naruto had no time to reply. He caught Gaara as they were falling, but Gaara struggled in his arms.

For the first time, Gaara felt horrified. He didn’t even hesitate to beg for mercy.

After all, if Gaara was truly able to accept death, he would’ve killed himself instead of being tortured for so many years.

The same was true for Neji. He hated Hyuga family law, but he couldn’t do anything to change it.

So, he could only hate others, but he had no guts to change anything.

"Sigh! You are making things difficult for me. Anyway, I am not going to kill you."

Naruto landed on the ground and placed Gaara down. But he didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he tore Gaara’s shirt.

There, he saw a seal attached to his chest.

"Such a crude seal! No wonder this brat couldn’t sleep."

A helpless voice rang in his mind.

"Mom, should I unlock this seal and put the Eight Trigram Seal while holding back Shukaku with Adamantine Chains?" Naruto asked.

"No need! This seal is far too weak. You can simply apply the Eight Trigrams Seal and destroy this seal afterward."

"But remember, you need to summon the ceremonial altar, but you don’t have the contract for it. So, let your dad handle it!"

"Okay!"

Naruto nodded his head and closed his eyes. When he opened them, there was a strange change in his Chakra.

Without wasting any time, Naruto summoned the ceremonial altar and placed Gaara on top of it.

Although Gaara didn’t understand what Naruto was doing, he didn’t struggle. His life and death were in Naruto’s hands after all.

After summoning the altar, Naruto closed his eyes, and the nature of his Chakra changed once more.

"Alright! I am going to place a stronger seal on you."

Naruto looked at Gaara and said.

"Why? Why are you helping me?" Gaara looked at Naruto with a blank expression and asked.

"Because you and I are essentially the same people. We just have different backgrounds. I didn’t know why people hated me until someone told me the truth."

When Naruto said that, Gaara opened his mouth, but couldn’t say anything.

He didn’t want to say that he had a bad childhood because his father was abusing him.

He couldn’t say that he had a family, but they wouldn’t go near him.

"Killing is not revenge. If you truly want to find peace, succeed as a Jinchuriki, then become the Kazekage."

"Only by becoming Kazekage can you truly control your life!"

As he said that, he placed his hand on Gaara’s chest and released a large amount of Chakra, turning it into a circle seal followed by several symbols.

[Eight Trigram Seal]

After he finished the seal, Naruto released a deep breath.

"With this seal, you will not be troubled by Shukaku, but you will lose the ability to use its full power during the battle unless you become its friend."

Just as he said that, he sensed something and turned around. A grin appeared on his face as he cracked his knuckles.

"Finally, I can take my revenge for that attack on Forest of Death."

At this moment, Gaara asked.

"Do you need help?"

He recognized Orochimaru’s presence. Although he didn’t know him personally, he knew this was a strong man like a Kage.

"No need! You should just recover your Chakra."

Naruto shook his head and walked towards Orochimaru.

"Old Man didn’t finish the job. So, let me do it for him! Orochimaru, you are too strong. You must be killed here."

When Naruto said those words, Kurama frantically released his Chakra.

"Naruto, you bastard! Why are you copying that guy’s words?"
