Chapter 57: Rasenshuriken

"I don’t know what you are talking about."

Naruto said, but he was laughing in his mind. He said this to Orochimaru because he remembered the First Hokage saying the same thing to Kurama.

"You brat, don’t ask for my Chakra anymore!"

As soon as he heard that, Naruto’s momentum suddenly deflated.

Orochimaru sneered.

"I truly don’t know where you get your confidence. Did you forget our little incident in the Forest of Death?"

"Lord Orochimaru, let me handle this!"

A fat man walked forward and immediately pressed his hand on the ground.

"Idiot! Do you think I would let you do that?"

Naruto sneered. Suddenly, his figure disappeared, appearing in front of Jirobo.

He waved his hand, forming a palm-sized Rasengan as he hurled it towards Jirobo’s stomach.

"Argh!"

Jirobo felt as if his body was being pierced by a thousand chakra needles. His body arched back and flew towards Orochimaru, who sidestepped.

Then, he fell to the ground, rumbled a few times before coming to a stop.

At this moment, his body was covered in black markings that were trying to heal his wound.

But the large wound from the Rasengan wasn’t something the first stage of the Curse Mark could heal.

’Wind Style Body Flicker Jutsu! But it is far more powerful than normal Wind Style Body Flicker Jutsu.’

"I’m sorry, Lord Orochimaru!"

When Jirobo joined them, he apologized to Orochimaru before turning the second stage of his Curse Mark Seal.

"This time I will go all out."

As his skin turned darker and his body grew bigger, Naruto closed his eyes for a moment before he opened them with orange eyeshadow.

Jirobo had already rushed towards Naruto. When Orochimaru saw Naruto’s condition, he didn’t stop Jirobo.

Although Jirobo was only a Jonin level with his second-stage curse mark, it was enough to prove Naruto’s strength.

Only a Kage could take out a Jonin with a single strike.

But Orochimaru quickly laughed.

"Interesting! It’s so interesting. You can not only enter Sage Mode but also last quite long without the help of those toads."

His long tongue stuck out as he continued.

"Is this the benefit of having a large chakra reserve? Seems like I am lacking quite a bit compared to the juniors."

"Kidomaru, Tatsuya, Sakon, Ukon, attack him with all your strength!"

"Sorry, but I don’t have time to deal with you separately!"

Naruto said before he raised his hand, and a large amount of Chakra began to condense on his palm.

At first, the Sound Four didn’t care.

They approached Naruto with different attacks.

Kidomaru used his spider-summoning, Tatsuya used her genjutsu, and Sakon and Ukon ran toward Naruto.

But the next moment, Orochimaru’s eyes widened in shock as he quickly backed away, trying to get as far as he could.

After all, he wasn’t in his best form to take an attack like this.

The sound four didn’t even realize what was about to hit them. A massive ball of Chakra with four shuriken made from wind chakra flew towards them.

Sakon and Ukon were the first to get hit by it. Seeing this, Kidomaru and Tatsuya immediately tried running away.

But the ball of Chakra suddenly expanded, reaching almost two-thirds of the Arena as the wind chakra started tearing everything apart.

Because of their lack of strength, their bodies were shredded into dust. Something similar happened with puppets that Nagato made.

Sage Art not only perfected his Rasenshuriken, but it also made it stronger than before.

At the same time, the four of Naruto’s clones exploded, and the red barrier around them disappeared.

When that happened, the Jonin and Anbu members close to the barrier immediately sensed a powerful wind coming their way.

Several of them slapped their hands on the ground and raised a large circle of wall around the arena.

Then, they heard a screeching noise and a powerful wind blowing towards them.

With this dust, the real Naruto appeared in the arena and gave a high-five to Naruto’s clone.

The clone vanished, and Naruto was left with an impressive amount of information. After nearly a minute of silence, Naruto said.

"It seems like any more attacks and my clone would’ve disappeared."

"Indeed! Your clone was fighting Shukaku. Although Shukaku is the weakest among us, he is still the tailed beast."

Hearing Kurama’s words, Naruto couldn’t help but feel speechless.

Only Kurama would be arrogant enough to call Shukaku the weakest. To Naruto, Shukaku was the third strongest tailed beast.

The whole reason why Naruto awakened Gaara instead of defeating Shukaku was precisely because of this.

He wasn’t arrogant enough to think he could fight a Tailed Beast with a clone at the age of twelve.

If he were sixteen, that would’ve been a different story.
