Kakashi was in an awkward situation.

He wanted to leave, but he couldn’t.

He wanted to enter, but he couldn’t.

He didn’t want to eat dog food (a Chinese term for showing affection), but he was fed from a golden bowl.

He never thought that when he came to this room, the first thing he would hear was Naruto’s confession to Hinata.

As she passed out, Naruto cried out in shock.

"Hinata, what happened to you?"

Kakashi suggested.

"Bed?"

Kakashi smacked Naruto on the head and lectured him.

Naruto quickly ran back to his room and placed Hinata on the bed. Watching her unconscious on his bed made Naruto’s heart flutter.

But he quickly controlled his impulses and made a hand sign.

He made a clone and said.

"Keep her safe!"

Why did Naruto say that?

Because he had already forged hatred with Danzo. If he was not wrong, Danzo was in deep trouble.

In that case, there was a chance that Danzo could try to kidnap Hinata to lure him and put him under Genjutsu.

After all, with what he had done, Danzo had absolutely no chance of becoming the Hokage.

After the clone nodded, Naruto left the room and joined Kakashi.

"So, what’s going on?"

He immediately asked. Since he wasn’t present at the meeting, he wasn’t sure what had happened there.

Kakashi smiled as he congratulated his Genin.

Kakashi explained.

Naruto stopped for a moment, on top of one of the buildings, and raised both of his hands.

"Hurray!"

He was excited. Although he had achieved his dream in the future, it didn’t mean he could do the same.

Especially with the changes he was making to this world.

So when he was told that he had basically been chosen for the Hokage, his childish inner excitement burst out.

As for fear and nervousness, they didn’t exist.

A decade of Hokage experience wasn’t for nothing.

He quickly rushed forward, even surpassing Kakashi in pure speed.

This surprised Kakashi since Naruto was neither using Sage Mode nor Kyubi Chakra Mode.

"Come on, Kakashi-sensei! Why are you so slow? I can’t wait to wear that Hokage Robe."

Naruto excitedly shouted as he increased his speed.

Still speechless, Kakashi asked.

"Naruto, haven’t you noticed yet?"

Naruto looked back and asked.

"What’s KCM?"

Kakashi asked, but he quickly realized it was the acronym for Kyubi Chakra Mode.

"Oh! Kyubi Chakra Mode! KCM! That has a nice tone to it."

"No, no, shouldn’t we be talking about why I am suddenly so much stronger?"

Naruto looked absolutely horrified.

Because he had no idea where this strength was coming from. His Chakra had gotten significantly stronger.

At this moment, Kurama asked.

"Naruto, what made Madara so much different than Isshiki?"

Naruto paused and replied.

’Ehh? Is it that Madara is not an Otsutsuki?’

"No, it’s that Madara became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. That’s why even when he was cut in half by Sasuke, he didn’t die."

’So, what does that have anything to do with my situation?’
