Without any hesitation, Naruto charged towards his room as he burst open his door.

"Oh no! Jinchuriki!"

Fu’s expression changed drastically as he turned towards Torune and said.

"Didn’t you say there was no other presence in the house?"

He had just grabbed Hinata when Naruto burst in. Although Hinata was in his hands, he couldn’t harm her.

Danzo had planned to use Hinata as bait.

Unfortunately, his voice woke up Hinata, or rather, the previous sound of the door woke her up.

As soon as she found herself in the arms of someone other than Naruto, she reacted instantly.

She slapped her palm into the chest of the Root member, but Fu was an Elite Jonin. He easily managed to catch her hand and went to knock her on the back.

He knew the truth, but he asked in such a questioning tone that it almost made him sound authentic.

He looked at Torune and said.

"I will give you one chance. For Shino! You are his brother. Think of him, think about his feelings just for a moment, and hold back!"

This was more than enough to distract Torune.

Yes, he was given Root’s training, but he was closely connected to Shino.

He was loyal to Danzo, but he joined Root to keep Shino safe.

This distraction was more than what he needed.

Without any hesitation, Naruto instantly appeared in front of Torune and slapped him on the chest.

Torune couldn’t bear the full impact of that attack and almost cracked his chest.
