Chapter 679: Anthony and Entrance At Higher Realm

It definitely belonged to that of 13th rank or something infinitely close to it.

Then voice suddenly entered Grey’s mind.

"Please don’t mind the army. Please come visit me."

Hearing this, Grey’s expression changed slightly.

The voice had not come from any of the surrounding soldiers. Instead, it felt as though someone was communicating with him from somewhere deep within the enormous structure.

Just then, the voice continued.

"You should already be capable of sensing my location."

Hearing this, Grey’s eyes flickered.

The voice was right, he could indeed sense the location.

Since the person responsible for this place was inviting him over, Grey saw no reason to not pay them a visit.

With that, Grey and Jasmine ignored the surrounding fleet and moved past the soldiers.

Seeing this, the Mecha Race soldiers were left confused, but Grey paid them no attention as he followed the mental signal.

Soon, they arrived at the source of the voice.

The moment Grey and Jasmine entered the area, the ordinary structure of the facility disappeared. Instead, the space around them transformed into a vast computational realm filled with floating numbers, streams of code, mathematical formulas, algorithms, data structures, and constantly shifting information.

Seeing this strange environment, Jasmine looked around in curiosity.

Meanwhile, Grey’s attention was drawn toward the massive mechanical being waiting for them within the strange space.

His enormous body resembled a futuristic mecha, covered in advanced armor and countless technological components. His powerful limbs, armored torso, and glowing mechanical eyes made him appear intimidating, but despite his appearance, he showed no hostility.

The mechanical being looked toward Grey and Jasmine before introducing himself.

"Greetings. I am Anthony."

Hearing this, Jasmine stared at him for several seconds.

Then, her expression suddenly changed as she recognized him.

"Wait. You’re the one who dropped me off at my home universe."

Hearing this, Anthony looked at her in surprise, he recognized her as well.

"It’s you from that time. We meet again."

Jasmine was surprised that the Mecha Race member who had once transported her home was connected to this enormous hidden place.

"We rarely involve ourselves in the affairs of the Endless Reality because we simply don’t care enough. Our race is primarily focused on research, technology, information, and our own advancement."

"As a result, we built this place so that others wouldn’t be able to find it."

Hearing this, Grey looked around at the enormous technological structure.

Their method of concealment had clearly been highly successful. Without the help of his mecha race ability, he would’ve never seen this place.

Anthony then continued.

"Ever since we built this place, only you have managed to find it."

"It should be clear to both of us why you were able to do that. It was because of your anchor and your connection to the Information Layer."

With that, Anthony’s attention shifted toward another aspect of Grey’s abilities.

"Not only that, but you also seem capable of utilizing Data Energy?"

"Curiosity is a fundamental trait of the Mecha Race. Our race was born from the power of the Machinery State within the Higher Ascendancy Domain, and that curiosity was one of the reasons we were able to develop such advanced technology."

He raised one mechanical hand slightly as streams of data moved through the space around him.

"Being curious was what allowed us to achieve our current level of technology."

After saying this, Anthony looked toward Grey with even greater interest.

"That aside, how did you become capable of such a feat? You might be the very first being capable of doing something like this outside of the Mecha Race."

Hearing this question, Grey thought carefully before answering.

He had no intention of revealing the complete truth, especially since his connection to the Information Layer was related to the power of Perfection.

Instead, Grey decided to give Anthony only a partial explanation.

"I once encountered an AI. Through a series of circumstances that were essentially the result of chance, I managed to establish an anchor and a spiritual conduit. Eventually, I used that connection to weave my own server into the Information Layer."

"But I am aware that ordinary beings can’t form anchors let alone enter that space unless they are part of the Dao of Machinery."

"So yes, I don’t know how I was able to do it."

Grey deliberately left out several important details.

Hearing his explanation, Anthony listened with interest before responding.

"How strange."

"Perhaps you have some sort of connection with the Mecha King?"

"He was someone who could achieve similar feats with the Akashic records in the Ascendancy Domain.

Immediately afterward, Anthony revealed more about himself.

"Well, I forgot about to introduce myself, didn’t I? I am one of the many descendants of the Mecha King, specifically one of his grandsons. The others in my group and I were sent to this location to search for the Core tied to Creation."

Hearing this, Grey immediately understood what this meant.

The Mecha Race was searching for the Nexus Core as well.

"Do you know what that is?" The Mecha Race asked curiously and Grey nodded.

Revealing this information hurted no one. It would be even more surprising if he didn’t know about it and make him appear even more suspicious.

However, Anthony’s next words revealed something unexpected.

"As I thought."

"Well, on that note. You came at a very good time."

"If you had came any later you would’ve never found us."

"We are preparing to leave the Endless Reality because we discovered that the entrance to the world connected to the Core is not located here."

Hearing this, Grey’s expression changed slightly.

Anthony then gave him the crucial detail.

"It is in the higher realms."

"We don’t know the exact coordinate sand the source itself cannot be trusted but we’ve been trying our luck in the Endless Reality for quite some time now but we believe it will be better if we went to the higher realm."

"We have a branch in the higher realm too and they told us to come there to assist them with the search as well."

Grey’s expression became slightly more serious.

He had not expected the entrance to be located there.

It reminded him of the Zenith Heaven where his grand father was from. He was known as the Zenith Immortal and the only being that managed to cross over to Earth. Could there be some sort of connection or perhaps the entrance was actually in that Higher Realm and that was why his grandpa crossed over there?

Grey’s eyes widened at his own thought. That theory would make a lot of sense.

At the same time, he wondered why Anthony was willing to share such important information with him.

He decided to ask him directly.

"Why are you sharing such crucial information with me?"

Anthony chuckled at his words. "I have a very sharp intuition. It’s something I obtained from the Mecha King.".

"And Something tells me that you should know this information."

Hearing this, Grey was surprised by Anthony’s honesty.

"Is that so?" Grey nodded. "Thank you for the information then."

With that said, Grey added. "I came here with no ill intentions. I simply wanted to analyze the existence of a Mecha Race being."

Hearing this, Anthony paused, clearly caught off guard.

"You want to analyze the existence of a Mecha?" He appeared thoughtful. "Although the Mecha Race possesses advanced technology and vast amounts of information, analyzing the existence of one of our members is not something an ordinary member of the race can accomplish."

"You might not know this, but our abilities in that area are not particularly impressive."

"Only the Mecha King can accomplish such a feat and even implement the analyzed data into an existing entity."

"I know. I still want to try."

Because he knew could do it. He had the Mecha King’s ability after all.

After hearing this, Anthony fell silent.

He hesitated, but his intuition continued to tell him that this meeting was important. Grey’s ability to find the Mecha Race, his anchor, and his connection to the Information Layer might all have been connected to something significant.

After a moment, Anthony finally agreed.

"Alright. Then I will let you analyze me."

"My bloodline is much more purer than others here due to my connection to the Mecha King."

"Try your best."

Hearing this, Grey immediately activated his analytical abilities and began gathering the racial information of the Mecha Race from Anthony’s existence.

Immediately, an enormous amount of information began flowing into Grey’s perception.

Anthony’s body was not merely machinery. His existence contained countless layers of data, biological-mechanical information, spiritual structures, energy pathways, computational systems, technological principles, racial characteristics, and interactions with the Information Layer.

Grey began extracting and organizing everything.

The information was highly complex, but as he continued analyzing it, he soon realized that it was not as complicated as the information associated with the Nexus Race.

The Nexus Race’s existence was vastly more intricate.

In theory, a member of the Nexus Race could potentially enter the Information Layer as well, but no such being currently existed because the necessary requirement was Nexus Energy.

Grey continued analyzing Anthony while considering how useful this information could become.

If he eventually created the Aether Race, he might be able to incorporate the principles behind the Mecha Race’s anchoring process. By understanding how the Mecha Race established its connection to the Information Layer, Grey might be able to give the Aether Race the ability to enter it as well.

Eventually, he discovered the part that was connected to the Information Layer and the anchoring process.
