Elayne’s eyes widened as her sharp senses flared. Noah was gone. That explosion had been nothing but a fragment.

“?!”

Her eyes, along with Livia’s and Rider’s, shot toward the sky. Night had suddenly descended over the entire perimeter as Noah’s power spread everywhere.

“Domain Creation – Eternal Night of Bloody Slaughter.”

TRUUUM!!!

At the same time, giant black specters and blood bats surged from every direction, swarming Elayne, Olivia, and Rider.

“W-What is this?!” Elayne groaned. “He can create a domain this enormous?!”

Until recently, Elayne had believed Domains were incredibly rare and difficult creations. After all, her own domain, formed in her house’s backyard, had taken a long time to complete.

But now that she was reaching a higher level of power and facing far stronger opponents, she was beginning to understand that Domain Creation was merely the first step toward something far greater.

And with it came many special abilities that the user gained upon forming their Domain.

“Ungh?!”

The most obvious was an immense boost to all parameters.

In that instant, Elayne was sent flying downward as Noah drove his foot deep into her chest, aiming to shatter her spirit core.

Her body crashed through three buildings, exploding them into pieces before slamming into the pavement below. Red flames and shadows erupted everywhere.

“NO! ELAYNE!”

Olivia panicked while Rider expanded his Aura of Divinity, desperately trying to keep the swarm of creatures at bay.

“Goddamn it, he really got us this time. That bloodsucker is no spring chicken!” Rider growled. “He is definitely among the strongest! And this Domain… Just what is it?! I cannot avoid the attacks. They will always hit us! We can only use barriers or destroy them, but evasion is impossible?!”

“It is an Advanced Domain Ability!” Olivia explained to Rider, whose knowledge of Modern Age Magic was outdated. “From my research, only those who have reached the level of Grand Magus can achieve it…!”

“Grand Magus?!”

“Advanced Domains are customizable spells that merge with one’s Internal Magic Aura and are then planted into space itself, sealed by a barrier,” Olivia continued as she fired dozens of spells, obliterating the hellish creatures attacking from every angle. “They trap enemies and place them at a severe disadvantage. His parameters must have increased by at least tenfold! And that is only the beginning. Advanced Domains are famous for one deadly feature… unavoidable attacks that come without end, just like these!”

“Hah, thank you very much, but that barely helps! How do we even get out of here?!” Rider asked.

“We can try to break the barrier from the inside, but it is incredibly difficult,” Olivia replied. “Someone outside can shatter the domain more easily, where it is weaker. Or… we incapacitate or kill the master of the domain…!”

“…?” Olivia realized Rider was likely speaking with Caster through their shared souls.

“Fine…!” Rider sighed. “But do not die on me, okay?! Master, she is coming. She has prepared a big spell!”

“Ninsun?!”

“She can shatter the domain!” Rider smiled. “But you will have to help her get close to the vampire…!”

“Sure!” Olivia nodded, placing her hand on the Anzu Bird. “Then let me borrow this bird!”

“…Huh?!”

Rider watched in shock as magic circuits briefly covered the Anzu Bird. From Olivia’s hand, dozens of runes and formations gathered, merged, and formed a semi-transparent Anzu Bird.

It was a completely magical construct imitating the summoned familiar of a Heroic Spirit.

“W-What the…?! How did you even do that?!”

“Did you think I spent the last week doing nothing?!” Olivia roared. “Since I nearly died against Foreigner, I have been training day and night! A week may be little time, but I have still learned a few tricks!”

“Hah, then copy this too!” Rider said, handing her his spear. “Can you?”

“I can try!” Olivia replied.

She touched the blindingly bright and powerful Spear of Blinding Sunlight, Shamash Uruk, and extended her circuits over it.

What she was doing was a forbidden spell that reduced a magician’s lifespan.

In her desperation to grow stronger, Olivia had learned a forbidden technique that allowed her Magic Circuits to expand outward in exchange for her own life force.

The more she used it, the shorter her metabolism and cellular regeneration became, drastically cutting her life expectancy.

But to her, none of that mattered anymore.

After having technically died once and been revived, Olivia’s resolve had changed. Her mind had warped along with it.

There was now something beyond mere survival burning inside her.

And that was…

“Array Execution – Magic Circuit Formation: Copy & Paste.”

By learning this forbidden spell—even one her father had forbidden her from ever studying—Olivia’s magic evolved further.

She had awakened her own unique spell.

Copy & Paste.

It allowed her to extend her Magic Circuits onto any Magical Artifact or Construct, copy its entire structure and functions, and then paste them using her own Formation Magic.

The copied formation would never be as strong as the original… but it would come close.

And close was all she needed.

Because Olivia would do anything to never suffer that same humiliation again.

“Then I am switching!”

Rider vanished. As Olivia rode the fake Anzu Bird, the beautiful Caster emerged behind her, sitting with a tranquil expression.

Her palms pressed together as she prayed and expanded her Divine Domain.

“Master, bring me to him.”

“Okay!”

Olivia quickly pasted the Spear, Shamash Uruk, into existence.

FLUOSH!

A fake spear appeared, carrying only a fragment of the original’s power. Yet even a fragment of such a weapon was immensely powerful.

Her copy gleamed with a transparent blue light, blazing with digitalized flames formed from stacked and compressed magic circuits and formations.

“Let’s go!”

“CRYAAAAH!”

The fake Anzu Bird let out a piercing cry as Olivia manipulated the copied spear and summoned a second and third one. The spears constantly flew and rotated around her and the bird.

Every blood bat and shadow specter that approached was instantly stabbed and destroyed.

Slowly but surely, they drew closer to Noah.

Meanwhile, Elayne remained completely suppressed. Noah had become ten times stronger in an instant, and his foot stayed planted on her chest, crushing her body as if it were made of wood.
