Child of Destiny - Chapter 2186 - 2186: The Three Leaders of the Titan Guild

…
Goliath Empire
The Golden Titan City had become the main capital of the empire under the constant nurturing of both the NPCs and the players.
It had been promoted to an advanced Royal City, almost rivaling the Royal Cities that could be found at the high-level neutral regions or unexplored areas of the Aurora Continent.
In the list that the Mystery Pavilion had created, the current Golden Titan City was among the most luxurious and prestigious NPC Royal Cities within the Aurora Continent, excluding those that were from the high-level Neutral Regions.
It was listed along the Holy City of the Saint Heaven Kingdom, the Elven City of the Sacred Light Kingdom, Prime Haven of the Primal Kingdom, the Storm City of the Storm Empire, the Death Metropolis of the Great Undead Empire, the Reptilian Capital of the Celestial Serpent Empire, and others.
These were just a few of the wealthiest NPC Cities within the game, but all of them were ranked in the top 10 of the list.
The most surprising thing about this was the fact that three of them were under the great influence of the Hand of Midas and the Titan Guild.
The entirety of the Saint Heaven Kingdom was greatly influenced by the Hand of Midas, while the Elven City was under the joint management of the Hand of Midas and the Titan Guild, along with some influences from the Assassin Union.
The Golden Titan City, on the other hand, was under the tight control of the Titan Guild. Their influence within the city was so strong, especially when some of their members already had a high noble status that could affect the Lower Noble Court of the Goliath Empire.
They might not have a Duke Title, unlike Shin, who was still the only player who had such a high noble title within the game.
Most of the players could only reach Baron Rank despite all their efforts. A few could elite ones could reach Viscount Rank, while the truly exceptional ones could reach Earl Rank. However, it was still two notches below the Duke Rank that Shin possessed.
Regardless, the Titan Guild was still able to dominate the Lower Noble Court with their multiple members that managed to gain the Baron Rank and a few elites at Viscount Rank.
They might not be able to affect the Higher Noble Court since they only had three players with Earl Rank, but their voices within the court were still quite loud and heavy.
This was one of the main reasons why their influence throughout the empire was unrivalled when compared to the other guilds.
…
The entirety of the Golden Titan City was divided into multiple sections, where three major sections were known as the Common Streets, the Noble District, and the Imperial Palace.
The Common Streets covered almost the entirety of the outer circle of the city, which was also where most of the players were gathered. It was also composed of multiple miner sections, which were further divided into business districts, where merchants had their bases; the military circle, which was filled with training facilities and military barracks were located; and the common plazas, which were the places that the players regularly visited and where they could establish their stalls.
The Common Streets were also where the branches of the Adventurer Association, Mercenary Guilds, and Blessing Chapels could be found, which were the main places where the players also hung out and where they could get commissions that could earn them some gold and merit points.
The Noble District, as its name suggested, was only meant for players who had a high social status within the city.
This was the place where the nobles were gathered and where the branches of the Righteous Churches were located.
Very few people were qualified to enter this place, much less the players. Only those with noble titles or official bishops of the churches were eligible to enter this section of the city.
As for the Imperial Palace, only those with extremely high status could enter these places, or the players who were granted special access could experience the majesty of this district.
Because of the noble titles that the three guild leaders of the Titan Guild had, they were able to secure a good residence within the Noble District, which provided them quite a lot of benefits despite it being on the edge of the district, which was right across the outer section of the city.
However, such a condition was done on purpose. Since the residence that they had secured was at the edge of the Noble District and near the gates dividing the two major sections, letting their members in had become much easier.
This place had also become their secret base, which was separated from their main headquarters, which was located at the center plaza of the Common Streets, which was also the wealthiest place within this section of the city.
Right at this moment, the three great leaders of the Titan Guild were gathered for the first time in a while.
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
The Lightning Elemental Mana was currently filling the entire room due to the rich energy that was passively leaking out from the bodies of the three leaders.
One of them was wearing an ancient robe, which was constantly emitting blue sparks on its surface, along with the pulsing lights released by the runes on its surface.
This person seemed not to wear that much equipment aside from his ancient robe, but there was a heavy and domineering aura that was coming out from their body.
This was God King Zeus, who was also the leading figure of the Olympus Faction. He was among the Godlike Players, who stood at the apex of the game.
He was no longer within the current Godly Ranking List because he was no longer as active as before. He rarely participated in any ranking matches or tournaments over the past few years because he wanted to focus on improving the Titan Guild and making it the strongest guild within the game.
However, his lack of activity did not mean he had lost his edge, since he was now focusing on much larger and more chaotic battlefields, especially in wars between guilds within the game or in major tournaments that involved an entire guild.
“It has been a while since we have gathered like this since we started playing this interesting game,” he said while looking at the other two sitting at the other edge of the massive circular table.
There were only the ones gathered within this room, which had only this massive stone table that almost covered the entirety of the room.
This stone table projected the entirety of the Goliath Empire, indicating that it was an extremely detailed virtual map.
Sitting behind one of the edges of the stone table was a man who seemed to be in his late twenties, wearing a full set of golden armor that had ancient runes engraved on its edges.
Flashes of golden lightning were constantly pulsing on the surface of the armor, giving off a strong and majestic aura.
There was also a long spear leaning on the side of the stone chair that he was sitting on, which was constantly pulsing with golden lightning, indicating that it was no ordinary weapon.
This was All-Father Odin, one of the greatest and strongest Maverick Gods within the game. He used to be quite a high Titled Ranker during his early days, but he refused to attend any kind of ranking matches or titled tournaments after finding it quite pointless.
He distained participating in these festivities after learning that there were still too many apex experts hiding themselves out there or too unconcerned about the so-called rankings.
That was the time that he had decided to just become like them. He would then challenge anyone who would question his strength or fame, proving them wrong.
This was how he became famous, even among the previous power system that the players had known, the Monster Class Players, before the new power scale was established.
Within the Titan Guild, he was the head leader of the Asgard Faction, one of the three major factions within the guild.
“It has been quite a while, indeed,” he said, answering Zeus.
He then turned to the third person within the room, who seemed to bear an extremely holy aura.
He was wearing a set of celestial armor and royal garments mixed, along with some sacred and traditional ornaments. The most noticeable was the golden headgear he wore, a towering conical crown.
He was holding a pair of vajras in each of his hands, which seemed to be his main weapons.
There was also a sacred and magical white elephant right behind him, which seemed to be sleeping quite soundly.
This was Indra, the third leader of the Titan Guild and the head of the Svarga Faction within it.
He was not as famous as the other two because he rarely made any appearances. He was not even known to most of the people, even within the guild.
He was only known as the mysterious leader of the third faction within the guild, which rivaled the two other leaders.
However, when it came to the other apex experts of the virtual world, he was known to be truly equal to those two.
He was known to also wield lightning powers just like the other two, who were known to be the best when it came to those powers, including the Titan Guild’s Thunder God, Thor of the Asgard Faction.
He was a god-level player who could also fight toe to toe with the other Godlike Players or Maverick Gods at the godly ranking lists.
Indra opened his eyes and looked at the two before saying. “Let’s skip the formalities and start with the meeting.”
“It is about the possible appearance of another Demonic Portal, isn’t it?” he asked, not willing to waste any more time.
