Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3484: Incoming Danger

Chapter 3484: Incoming Danger
The Sword God alone could help them now.
The Beast God immediately contacted the Wine God and the Sword God so she could get into contact with Bladedance.
The Wine God replied first, explaining that Bladedance was in closed cultivation and thus would likely not answer her. Soulmother could not accept that answer.
“A terrible situation has come upon us, and we need senior’s help for it,” Soulmother explained. “You must call her out of her closed cultivation now and meet us at the Jade Lotus Continent. I’ll explain everything there shortly. Please, we don’t have much time.”
The Wine God took a moment to reply. “I’ll do it.”
The Beast God nodded and quickly called for Flamestrider and a few of her other beasts to follow her. The Emperor Soldier Bees that flowed around the garden flew up to her at once, quickly covering her entire body, forming a buzzing pattern as though it was a chant of war.
They were ready for a fight.
With Xue Yu’er coming along, she made her way to the teleportation platform that would send her to the other continent. As soon as she arrived there, she didn’t wait for the Wine God to arrive. Instead, she began preparing for the ship, thinking of ways to deal with it.
The quality of material that went into making the ship and the formations set upon it made it so that it would be impossible to destroy it through any normal means. Even a Celestial could potentially have trouble destroying it if all of its defenses were up, but that was the only choice they had right now.
Bladedance was their only hope.
“How are the rest of them doing? Are Bigshell and Jadehorn fine?” the Beast God asked. She had been worried about her two beasts for a while since they had gone on the expedition to look after the rest.
“Everyone is unhurt for now. But they are a little weak since we haven’t had the chance to fully rest ever since the ship went astray.”
“How long has it been?” Flamestrider asked with an equally worried look on his face.
“About 20 years, I think,” Xue Yu’er answered.
“TWENTY YEARS?” the Beast God shouted in surprise. “How did you return in just…”
She could not fathom it. The expedition had started over a thousand years ago. If the ship had taken 1000 years to reach where it had, for it to return in just 20 years, the speed had to have been…
“Dear god!”
The Beast God felt her heart sink as she thought about it. “How fast is the ship actually moving?”
“At full speed,” Xue Yu’er said. “The first few times, it skipped long distances through teleportation, but somewhere along the way, the formation broke. Otherwise, we might have come even sooner.”
The Beast God nodded, but she understood that she couldn’t trust Xue Yu’er’s words on how much time they had. It could be true that they had no time at all.
The Wine God arrived a few minutes later, with a disgruntled Bladedance following behind him, like a restless person annoyed that their sleep had been disturbed. She had only cultivated for a month and was thus no more than halfway through her session.
“Soulmother, this better be important,” Bladedance said, walking toward the older blond-haired woman.
“Please trust me, senior. I would not have called you here if you weren’t required,” the Beast God said. “Do you remember when I once spoke of the expedition that started here a little over a millennium ago?”
“An expedition?” Bladedance asked, narrowing her eyes a little. “To the Moon?”
“Yes. Something has gone wrong with that expedition, and the vessel we sent them on is headed toward this realm right now,” the Beast God quickly explained.
“Okay…” Bladedance said, not understanding the situation. “What’s wrong with that?”
“The ship is out of control and isn’t stopping. With the defenses upon it, no Divinity could possibly stop it at all. And with how much speed and strength it carries, if it lands on any land, it could destroy a massive chunk of the continent it lands on. Only a Celestial could stop it, so we require your assistance, senior.”
The Wine God stood to the side, a worried expression upon his face. He looked at Xue Yu’er, recognizing her, and then at the rest.
Xue Yu’er, in a similar fashion, had a strange mix of expressions as well. Most of her was worried and panicked for what was going to happen, but a part of her was amazed at the people that had surrounded her. Three gods were present there, one of whom was a Celestial.
She had seen many gods from afar previously, even met a few during the tournament where she made her name, but to see three of them so casually was another matter entirely.
Bladedance narrowed her eyes for a moment before nodding finally. “I see. I think I understand,” she said with a frustrated look. “I have regained quite a bit of my powers, but I was hoping not to have to use them before I was fully healed. This might end up undoing that. Let’s go then. See if we can do much, if anything at all.”
The Beast God nodded. “Alright, let us leave now. It should take us time just to get to space.”
They got atop the prepared ship and flew out of the realm. Just getting out into space alone took them nearly an hour, during which point they talked about what exactly they were going to do.
“In case that I fail, you need to either get the Divinities ready to aid me, or find some way to defend the regular folks,” Bladedance said.
The Beast God nodded. “I’ve left Blackspur and Strongclaw in command for now. I will tell them to prepare.”
The Wine God nodded as well. “I will ask my son to return to the palace right away and start preparing for the worst-case scenario,” he said. “Let us pray that it doesn’t come to that.”
