Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3485: Can’t Destroy

Chapter 3485: Can’t Destroy
Once the group arrived outside of the confines that was the atmosphere of the Sacred Lotus Dominion, they placed their ship facing away from the sun and looked out into the nothingness of space to search for what they could find.
“What direction is this ship coming from?” Bladedance asked, looking around in all directions. Things were so tiny that even as a Celestial, she had problems finding anything.
She closed her eyes for a moment, letting her Axiom take control of the region around her. Without the Heaven constantly suppressing it, it quickly enveloped a large area that would’ve otherwise been impossible.
For something to be considered living, it must have an Intent of its own.
Working backwards: If anything had an Intent, it had to be alive.
Her Divine Sense reached beyond the regular range as well, occupying everywhere her Axiom reached. With it, she could sense the Intents of all those who were around her, and even if they were hidden from her, so long as they were alive, she would find them.
At the moment, no one besides the people around her was out there in space.
“Well, the good news is the ship is still plenty far away,” she said. “And the bad news is, we still don’t know what direction it is coming from.”
Xue Yu’er quickly pointed in a certain direction. “It should be around there.”
Everyone turned their heads slightly. The direction was opposite to where the sun was, and closer to the True Moon, but just a half a head to the right.
“I don’t see anything,” the Beast God said.
“One moment, I have an artifact,” the Wine God said and quickly brought out a cylindrical metal object that extended out to nearly the length of an arm, with two thick gems embedded on either ends.
The old man twisted the metal once, and the gems came alight. He looked through one of the gems out into space, moving it around slowly as he searched for the ship.
After nearly half a minute, he finally stopped. “Found it!” he said, passing the artifact along to Bladedance.
Bladedance took it and looked through it as well in the direction the old man pointed.
Through the gems, the artifact allowed Bladedance to see space in a mix of bright colors. The world before her was a void of soft red and yellow, with no other color flashing around her at all.
Far in the distance, however, she saw a spark of light with a strange collection of colors moving around.
The artifact didn’t allow them to see the ship, but they could see the aura it had produced.
“It’s quite far away still,” Bladedance said, giving the old man his artifact back. She turned around to look at the rest of the people that had followed her. “Who is going with me?”
Alongside the Beast God, her beasts had followed along. And alongside the Wine God, his Reverends and Royal guards had followed along. The group currently contained only 2 people in the Divine Manifestation realm, with everyone else firmly in the Divine Domain realm.
No matter how strong the defenses of the ship were, they could certainly be of some use if Bladedance were to take them along with her.
“You’re going toward it, senior?” the Wine God asked.
Bladedance nodded. “I have to, don’t I?” she asked. “You surely don’t expect me to destroy the ship from here, do you?”
“Destroy?” the Beast God spoke in a panicked tone. “You can’t do that, senior.”
“What?” Bladedance stopped. “Why not?”
“There are people still inside that ship, 2 of whom are my beasts. They can’t survive an attack from you,” the Beast God said.
“There should still be 13 other people within the vessel. This young lady here is the only one who seems to have made it out of there somehow,” the Wine God said, understanding the situation.
Bladedance frowned. “Can’t they get out?”
“No, senior,” Xue Yu’er spoke up. “The barrier is extremely strong and is capable of withstanding much damage.”
“I may be able to get my beetles to eat at the barrier, but the barrier constantly mends itself, so I’m not sure if they can fully chew through it. But we can try,” the Beast God said.
Bladedance frowned. If not for the fact that Soulmother’s own beasts were in the ship, she might have even suggested letting those 13 die, since it meant the survival of so many. Since that was out of the question, she had to think of some other way.
“If you had another Celestial instead of me, you might’ve had a way. But my first Axiom is useless in this matter, and my second is attuned to killing. I can’t be of much help if those still inside the ship need to be protected as well.”
An air of dread spread around the group, as each tried to think of ways to fix the situation.
“We need to figure out how we can save them first then. Once the 13 are safe, then Senior would have no problem destroying the ship, would she?” the Wine God said. “Is there a way to get in or out with all the problems in the ship? They must’ve tried everything, so can they not teleport?”
The Beast God shook her head. “No, the spatial protection formation makes it difficult to utilize teleportation talismans while within the ship now that it’s gone awry.”
The Wine God frowned. “Someone with a strong understanding of space should find a way though,” he said, turning toward Bladedance. “Maybe we ought to send someone in first before we can bring the others out.”
Bladedance thought for a moment, understanding what the Wine God was trying to say.
“With our collective strength, sending someone in should be easier than rescuing 13 different Divinities trapped inside.”
She had more or less come up with a plan for what needed to be done next.
“Where is my disciple?” she asked. “Someone bring him up here now!”
