Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3495: Recovery Period

Chapter 3495: Recovery Period
Before Alex could have the chance to see what he had gotten out of this battle, Wineshard came along and thrust him into another situation.
Alex could hardly even understand what was happening at all, except that he was apparently needed up in space for something.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t get to you in time,” the prince said, despite having apologized moments earlier. “I was about to send someone, but my father sent me a message that forced me to stay there for a few minutes longer, only to realize in the end that it was about you.”
“That’s fine. I should have returned along with you when you said so,” Alex said. “Can you explain to me what the situation actually is, though?”
“Something bad is about to happen soon is all I’m aware of,” the prince said. “It apparently involves a large ship that left this world over a thousand years ago. The rest we’ll find out once we’re up there.”
“A ship?” Alex asked.
The prince nodded. “The Beast God created it with some help from my father. It’s easily the greatest Divine artifact of the modern age and was tasked with taking a group of 14 Divinities to the True Moon.”
Alex’s eyes narrowed slightly. “The True Moon?” he asked. “I thought it was unreachable.”
“That’s what they were trying to change, to go and see why it is unreachable exactly, and if possible, reach it. The ship was fitted with many defenses and formations and was supposed to be fit for any situation. I’m not sure why exactly it is back right now.”
Alex grew quite curious himself, but more so at the fact that these people had tried to go to the True Moon.
The True Moon had always been a point of curiosity for him as well, as it could be seen from every single world out there. The only one Alex knew of that didn’t have a direct view of the True Moon was Hell, but that was only because of the shattered sky above the realm, scattering all light.
No stars could be seen in Hell either for that exact reason.
The prince glanced at Alex, noticing something. He used his Divine Sense to confirm it a moment later. “You’re very weakened right now, aren’t you?”
Alex looked down and slowly nodded. “I might have pushed myself a bit too much during my fight,” he said.
“I can’t imagine,” the prince said. “Who was it that dared attack you, though? I’ll have to go back and deal with them and their group.”
“I appreciate it, senior. Thank you.”
The prince nodded and stood up, staring at the sky. “It should take us half an hour or so to reach where my father and the rest are. Why don’t you cultivate until then? Eat some pills and recover what you can.”
Alex agreed. “I’ll do just that.”
He sat down on the deck and brought out a pill to recover his Qi. Thankfully, while he had lost much of his Qi during the last battle, he hadn’t actually lost any of his unique energy.
It was still there, exactly the same amount as when he had started. Realizing that it was there now, Alex wondered for a moment why he hadn’t even thought of using it during the battle.
’Could I have used it?’ he wondered. The energy certainly was strong, but whether it was strong enough to defeat the man? He didn’t think so.
’Even if it could, I would’ve had to waste all of it,’ Alex thought. There was no point in the end.
After quickly eating a pill, Alex sent his senses into his Soul Space, where Hao Ya was recovering away from the World Tree, with Pearl and the rest surrounding her.
“Sister Hao Ya,” Alex’s voice came into his Soul Space from all directions. “How are you doing?”
“I’m good,” Hao Ya said in a stunned voice.
She had been inside Alex’s Soul Space once before. During the battle in the Eastern Continent, Alex had snuck his entire army to the continent by taking them into his Soul Space.
However, at that time, they were trapped inside a ship, in the darkness, unmoving and unthinking, as anything they did at that time would’ve made Alex suffer.
And yet, there was a world in his Soul Space now, with life flourishing. And to her surprise, he could handle it all easily.
She could hardly understand how it was all possible.
“The man is dead, so you won’t have to worry about him for now,” Alex said. “Do you know how many more of them there are? Or what they look like?”
Hao Ya slowly nodded. “I know two more of their faces, but I cannot tell for certain if that is the extent of their group.”
“I see,” Alex said. “Well, please rest for now. I have something else coming up, so I will need to place my focus there. We will talk later.”
Hao Ya accepted.
Alex changed his focus from the tiny world in his Soul Space to the massive emptiness where the charred remains of his enemy floated endlessly. He let his senses go through it for a moment, noticing a strong Soul Space within it.
He was quite excited to see what was inside there, but now was not the time.
Right now, he had chosen to find this corpse for a different purpose.
’Alright,’ he thought. ’Let’s see how well it works with an actual Divinity.’
Out of nowhere, Yellow Fog emerged all around the corpse, slowly surrounding it. Wherever the Yellow Fog touched, the charred flesh began dissolving and vanishing.
What the Yellow Fog did to a spirit in his Spiritual Sea, it did the same to matter in his Soul Space.
The Yellow Fog broke down the corpse into more than just Qi. It helped improve his body, blood, and soul as well.
By just doing this, Alex could fundamentally improve his cultivation all at once.
