Gravity Mage with Level-Up System - Chapter 1858: Part 1: Clint was trapped

Chapter 1858: Part 1: Clint was trapped
Crystal City-Shop
Time passed.
Elder Blake brought his media house friend. His name was Chris. Everyone started acting according to the plan.
Chris brought a few helpers with him. They would be posing as staff as well.
In the gallery room, I was waiting for Magic Lord Clint to arrive. But because of yesterday’s event, the news was widespread. Not a single customer came today.
It was disappointing to some extent. Similar incidents like this had occurred before.
Earlier, they had a confrontation with the Flame Elemental Tower. Even during that time, customers never stopped coming. But today, not a single one of them had come.
Elder Blake was here. Hank, Patrick, and Otto were bedridden. Only the old man Rock remained as support. He is a Magic Lord. He was not affected by the acts of Magic Lord Clint.
To break the current situation, I thought of a good idea.
I summoned them to my room. Old man Rock, Elder Blake, and Chris walked into the room. The other helpers were inside the gallery room.
They greeted me upon seeing me. I nodded to them and said, “No one is coming. Why don’t you ask your media channel and tell them to telecast that the shop has opened today?”
Chris said, “I will inform them.”
He knew Magic Lord Clint would come only if the shop was functioning as usual.
Everyone acted. They left the room. Chris quickly reported to the higher-ups, so they immediately telecast the news about the appraisal shop.
The locals who were watching the media news saw the report about this. People were shocked. After yesterday’s incident, they didn’t expect Wizard Vincent to open up shop today.
The locals became interested. They didn’t know what would happen today, but they didn’t have the courage to visit the shop.
People were aware that Magic Towers were causing problems for Wizard Vincent Carey.
The news reached the ears of the wizard families and the wizard association.
They wanted to go to the shop, but they were hesitating as well. They didn’t want to offend the Green Elemental Tower.
Only the Infinite Wizard Association was on the side of Wizard Vincent. But they wouldn’t move unless Wizard Vincent asked them for help.
Yet, there were people from outside the city interested in visiting the shop.
A few of them naturally had business to do. Since no one was going to the shop, they wanted to use this opportunity.
If they could see Wizard Vincent, it would be great.
So, such people started going towards Crystal City. The news broadcast worked. People who were in need of the appraisal service ignored the previous day’s incident.
…
Hotel
Magic Lord Clint heard the news from the higher-ups. He was shocked. He immediately turned on the screen. The news started playing. He saw one of the local media channels.
They were telecasting that an appraisal shop was open today. New staff members had joined the shop, so the shop had gained a new glow.
Seeing that, the face of Magic Lord Clint changed drastically. He had done so many things yesterday. He thought that the bastard was hit hard.
He didn’t expect Wizard Vincent to bounce back.
He had even injured the members of the shop. He expected Vincent to come and get revenge. But none of that happened.
“No, I can’t let this happen,” Magic Lord Clint muttered to himself.
He wanted to provoke Wizard Vincent again. This time he wanted a reaction from him. The reaction would be so strong that there should be a fight.
Magic Lord Clint regained his confidence. He was going to do the same thing again. He left the hotel. He didn’t even inform the three Supreme Wizards.
He was going to visit the shop alone.
…
Shop
I was sitting inside the gallery room office. I was waiting for Magic Lord Clint’s arrival. The news idea worked out.
Now the entire city knew about the shop. It opened today.
Elder Blake, Chris, and Old Man Rock were inside the gallery room. They were waiting for trouble to come. The helpers were inside the room as well.
It didn’t take long for the first customer to come.
He was from the neighboring city. He brought an antique piece. He wanted the item to be appraised by Appraiser Frank.
Everyone in the gallery room was delighted.
Customers started coming. If more customers arrived, it wouldn’t be long before the target appeared.
A few minutes later,
Magic Lord Clint entered the Crystal Community. He was all alone.
When he got closer to the shop, he saw that customers were standing in a queue. Though the numbers were small, it wouldn’t be long before the queue grew large.
Clint rushed towards the entrance. He saw some new faces. He walked directly into the shop. His gaze then fell on the gallery room.
Clint walked into the gallery room. He came across the new faces again. Then he spotted two familiar people.
They were Elder Blake and a Physique-type Magic Lord. Magic Lord Clint gave a cold snort.
He swept his gaze across the room before looking toward the office. He saw Vincent Carey speaking to someone.
His eyes filled with killing intent.
What he didn’t know was that someone else was looking at him. The person was none other than Chris. Chris eye-signaled the men to turn on the hidden gadgets to record.
While Magic Lord Clint’s eyes were on the office room, he didn’t notice the activities of the men. They turned on the gadgets.
The gadgets started recording the footage. It was live now. The local media house was telecasting it.
Inside the office room, I was speaking to the customer. I also noticed the arrival of Magic Lord Clint.
I knew the team might have started their task. It was a live show now. I decided to continue the conversation for another few minutes.
I was sure Magic Lord Clint would be pissed off.
A few minutes later, I told the customer to leave. The customer nodded his head and left the room.
Magic Lord Clint was already angry.
