Chapter 1860: Clint realized the truth!

“If you continue to disrupt the business here, then I’ll inform the Forbidden Wizards of the Silver Tower,” Elder Blake said to Magic Lord Clint.

He basically threatened him.

Hearing about the Forbidden Wizards, the smile on Magic Lord Clint’s face disappeared.

He knew his limits. He was not foolish enough to offend the Forbidden Wizards.

But he was disappointed to see Vincent Carey’s reaction. He saw that b@stard was not angry at all.

He had failed to incite a reaction from him. Now that everyone was here, it was hard for him to take action again.

Clint gave a look at Vincent Carey before leaving the room. He then looked at the staff before exiting the place.

From beginning to end, he didn’t find anything wrong. When he was gone from the place, the staff sighed in relief.

But their mission had succeeded. Magic Lord Clint had fallen into the trap; he just didn’t know it himself yet.

In the office room, I looked at everyone. I signaled Elder Blake with my eyes to stop the recordings. He looked toward his friend Chris, who understood the assignment.

Chris immediately ended the live broadcast. Everyone had seen the important part. Now that Magic Lord Clint had left the place, there was no need to continue with the broadcast.

On the other hand, I stood up and looked at Elder Blake and old man Rock.

“Elder Blake, he might be back after watching the news. Stop him at the entrance. He should not enter the community,” I said to him.

A look of understanding dawned on the others’ faces.

“I’m on it,” Blake said before leaving the room. He ordered his officials, and they went with him as well.

Then I left the room and came to see Chris.

“Wizard Vincent,” Chris said.

“You did good work. But the threat is not over yet. The madman might come back,” I said to Chris.

Hearing that, Chris was taken back. Then he understood what would happen if Magic Lord Clint were to watch the news.

“I’m going to remove the gadgets and set them at the entrance. If he comes back to cause problems, it will be recorded as well,” Chris said.

Then he informed his staff, and they started working right away.

I turned toward old man Rock and asked whether the members were awake or not.

“They are awake. They wanted to come here, but I told them to rest first,” Old man Rock said.

“Okay,” I replied. Then I returned to my room to observe my own condition. I had been hit by the Magic Lord-level coercion earlier.

I felt my body tearing apart. In my room, I summoned the status panel. My gaze fell on the stats. There was a significant drop in stats, but there was no serious injury to my foundation.

So, I took some healing treasures out and started consuming them. Then I began to see the changes in the stats.

They were recovering. Seeing that, I sighed in relief. Then I dismissed the status panel.

Magic Lord Clint reached his hotel. The two Supreme Wizards were waiting for him in the corridor. He didn’t even look at them before going inside his room.

Just before he could relax, he received a call. He was taking up the device for the first time since leaving the hotel earlier.

Then he saw a ton of missed calls, which jolted him awake. He felt something bad had happened.

He then answered the call. The next second, he heard a loud voice from the other side. His friend was screaming at him.

“Wait, what happened?” Clint asked him.

“Watch the news first,” his friend replied.

Then he ended the call and turned the digital screen on to watch the news. The next second, he saw himself on the screen.

His expression changed drastically. His heart boiled in anger.

Everything he had done back in that shop had been recorded, including his actions of releasing coercion on Wizard Vincent Carey.

Not only that, but his speech was recorded as well.

Now the media channels were telecasting his speech on repeat. He had used the name of the Green Elemental Tower.

His face contorted. Everything was exposed. What’s more, the truth had come out of his own mouth.

A vein popped in his forehead.

He was completely exposed by Wizard Vincent. He couldn’t believe he had been fooled. He thought about the reactions from Vincent Carey from the beginning.

Now, he understood why that b@stard had been silent from the start. He didn’t get any reaction at all because it was planned all along. He was the one who had been fooled instead.
