I didn’t show any expression, but I needed to use this opportunity to reach the Capital City. I’m sure this group of wizards won’t take action any time soon.

If any trouble occurs, I can imprison the Magic Lord inside the system space.

“What do you think?” the fat man asked.

“I don’t have a problem. I want to reach the capital before the start of the tournament,” I replied.

The fat man’s eyes flashed with understanding. He was right about the masked man.

“Then let’s make the introductions.” The fat man led me to the group of friends.

I followed him from behind with a smile on my face. I’m sure the group of friends didn’t know that their intentions were exposed.

The five friends stopped talking and looked toward me. All five of them were middle-aged people. They started talking in a friendly manner.

They introduced themselves to me. I told them my fake name, but I didn’t reveal any background information; I kept it secret.

The five friends didn’t pry further. They didn’t want their target to leave at the last moment.

“Okay. It’s time to depart,” the fat man said. He was not traveling with them.

He had some other work to do, but the airship belonged to him. They selected one of the small airships.

It was black in color. They entered the airship. The space inside was spacious enough for six of them to stay. There were ten small cabins inside the small airship.

I walked inside. The fat man came in last. I turned toward him and negotiated the price. He knew the journey was not free.

“You don’t have to pay. You are our guest,” a brown-haired man said.

Hearing that, I smiled at him, but I still decided to pay. The fat man then said the price was 500 mid-grade mana stones.

I gave the mana stone pouch to the fat man. He accepted the pouch. Then he made some phone calls. The pilot and a few other staff arrived at the place.

They entered the airship. We shared some small talk. The pilot then went to operate the craft. I selected the last cabin and entered.

The five friends looked at each other. They had decided to take action at the right time.

They were not going to do that now, only once they reached the capital. They could use their men to capture the person then.

Shortly afterwards, the small airship rose from the ground. It reached a significant distance in the mid-air before moving toward the capital.

The Magic Lords inside the cabins were looking at the outside view. The climate was good. Verdantwood Country is known for its greenery. They forgot about their target for the time being.

On the other hand, I was watching the outside view as well. From up here, I could take a good look at the city.

My gaze fell on the numerous flower gardens all across the city. They were built around the various streets. It looked beautiful.

Now that I was inside the airship, I noticed that the entire Pebble City looked like one big garden. A bright smile appeared on my face.

The city had a mixed bag of people like any other city, but I didn’t want to waste too much time on the journey.

I calmed my heart and appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. The zero puppet was still there, but it was deactivated. Then I went straight to bed.

Time passed. The black airship was moving through the air smoothly. The pilot was driving skillfully, avoiding the thunderous clouds and big tornadoes that posed a threat to the airship.

Yet, the pilot did everything to protect the craft.

As time passed, a heavy downpour of rain occurred.

Thunderclap!

The sky was covered in massive dark clouds. Lightning bolts appeared from time to time with a massive thunderclap sound.

Boom!

A powerful lightning bolt struck. It appeared so close to the small airship. Everyone in the cabins felt the power of the lightning. It was not normal lightning, but the power of mana.

If the powerful lightning were to land on the airship, it would destroy it immediately. The pilot did his best to navigate safely.

After a certain point, he sought help from the Magic Lords. The Magic Lords exited their rooms one after another.

The five friends looked at each other. They understood the situation outside and needed some help. They were not surprised; they were used to this kind of situation.

One of the friends stepped out from the small airship. He was a man in his forties with a lean physique. With a single step, he appeared above the small airship.

Seeing that, the pilot paused operations. He heaved a sigh of relief. He believed that the Lord would take care of the treacherous clouds.

Boom!

The lean man swept his gaze across the clouds. As the thunderclap and powerful lightning appeared, the lean man felt the power of the lightning.

He understood that the lightning could really cause damage to the airship.

The next second, the lean man cast a magic spell. Powerful green mana was released from his right hand. Right then, above his head, a great green magic circle appeared.

A powerful wind tornado was released from the magic circle. The tornado grew to a height of over 50 feet. It came into contact with the black clouds.

The next second, an explosion occurred. The wind force from the tornado swept away the dark clouds. The dark clouds disappeared from the sky.

Yet the power of the wind force didn’t stop; it continued to drive away the dark clouds. In the blink of an eye, the sky became clear.

The man with the lean physique cracked a wide grin on his face. Seeing that the black clouds were gone, he turned around and nodded to the pilot.

Then he returned to the small airship. The pilot sighed in relief. He knew the Magic Lords would take care of it.

The five friends once again became talkative. But they saw that the target had not come out from the cabin.
