The Black Silver Airship was moving through the mid-air. The driver was happy. He had been worried that the terrifying climate might cause problems for the airship.

They were fortunate enough to escape from the attack early; otherwise, the destructive lightning power would have damaged the airship.

Right now, the airship has crossed the treacherous climate. It is moving through the air smoothly.

Inside the airship, five Magic Lords were discussing things seriously. They couldn’t help but look toward the last cabin.

The last cabin was where the new masked Magic Lord was staying.

“What happened to the newcomer?”

“Didn’t he feel the thunderous lightning earlier?”

The man with the lean physique asked. He was the one who had cast the wind magic spell earlier.

“I guess he wanted to take a rest until we reached the capital,” another man said.

“We don’t know where he comes from. What if he has acquaintances in the capital?” the man with the scarred face said.

“He is going to the capital to see the tournament. I’m sure he must have some friends,” he added.

Hearing that, everyone’s expression changed. They became vigilant.

The five of them looked at each other’s faces again. They had not seen the masked man act nervous in front of them.

It showed that the masked man could have known people in the capital. Not only that, but he spoke confidently to them.

The masked man was not worried about being in their company.

Then, their faces turned serious.

“Should we take action midway?” the brown-haired man said in a low tone.

The scar-faced wizard said, “If he truly has someone in the capital, then we will be exposed if we attack the masked man now.”

“It’s not that difficult to find out we were traveling with him,” he added.

“Then we should make some arrangements there in the capital itself,” a brown-haired, middle-aged man said.

“I agree with the plan. We should decide after getting into the capital city,” the lean-physique wind wizard said.

Then, they changed the topic to laughter.

“Ha… Ha… Ha…”

Laughter filled the place. They didn’t mind whether the new person was listening to them or not.

Days passed by.

The black airship didn’t face further troubles. The sky was clear. They would reach the capital in a few hours.

The Magic Lords were all awake. If they had wanted to, they could have reached the city faster, but they were not in a hurry.

The territory of the Verdantwood Nation was vast. The country had wild places as well. If they encountered 10th-order monsters, it would be trouble.

Some of those 10th-order monsters are powerful. They could cause problems for the Magic Lords as well. A fight between the monsters and Magic Lords could affect the surrounding land.

So, the Magic Lords preferred a silent journey.

A few hours later, all the Magic Lords exited their rooms and gathered together. They would reach the capital city shortly.

They looked at each other and started talking as usual. But when their gaze fell on the last room, they were shocked again.

The masked man hadn’t left the room since he had boarded the vehicle. They were wondering whether he was in there or not.

The lean-physique wind elemental wizard walked up to the room.

He didn’t use his mental power. Instead, he knocked on the door with decency. He didn’t want to offend the masked man for no reason.

I opened the door and walked out. My gaze fell on the lean-physique man. My eyes flashed with a glint.

“Mister?” I uttered.

I knew this person had used a powerful wind magic spell to dispel the dark clouds.

The lean-physique wizard smiled suddenly.

He said, “We are getting closer to the capital city now.”

“Okay,” I replied.

Then I followed him to meet the other four Magic Lords. All four Magic Lords were smiling and talking.

Upon seeing me, they did the same. I nodded to them and engaged in small talk.

“Wizard Frank, where are you going to stay in the Capital?”

“Do you have any friends?” the scar-faced wizard asked.

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows. I felt the gazes of the other wizards on me as well. I knew they were after my life.

But I didn’t expect them to be so eager.

Hearing that system voice, I turned toward the lean-physique wizard who had greeted me earlier.

Earlier, I had seen him using a magic spell. That was a powerful magic spell.

“Wizard Frank,” the scar-faced wizard called out.

Hearing that, I recovered my thoughts and turned toward the others. A good idea came to my mind.

All the Magic Lords felt a thunderclap in their heads. The name Raymond was not an ordinary name. It belonged to a powerful wizard family.

The name sent a cold shiver down their spines. They collected their thoughts and looked at the masked man.

They didn’t know whether the masked man was lying or not. They had all tried to probe the masked man to know his strength, but they weren’t able to do it.

Right now, they quickly recovered their expressions and collected their thoughts.

“Okay, then we hope to meet again later,” the scar-faced man said.

I nodded to them. The others shared their opinions, then I went back to the room.

The five Magic Lords showed solemn expressions on their faces.

“Do you believe him?” the lean-physique wizard asked. Though he was shocked, he was still skeptical.

The scar-faced wizard, the brown-haired wizard, and the others were quiet. They had been happy earlier because they were going to loot an unknown Magic Lord.

Magic Lord-level wizards are not ordinary wizards. The resources they carry are significant.

If they looted someone, they could share the resources among themselves.

They had been targeting the masked man, but they never expected such an answer.

“Why don’t we follow him later?”

“If he gets near Raymond Mansion, we can retreat,” the scar-faced wizard said.

Hearing that, the others felt it was right. They decided to do exactly that.
