Husband you've abandoned me. Fine, I'll focus on raising my son - Chapter 305: My son

Chapter 305: My son
I was panicking as we drove around the area. I coukdn’t let then get to the neigbors. I couldn’t allow them to get help. Everything would be ruined.
I saw several of my men moving on the street. Some were walking along the road. Some were in the long grass fields looking for the boo
I hoped they were looking carefully. They were only kids. How smart and fast could they be?
The car drove by the first neighbors home further down the hill. My men confirmed they hadn’t seen anyone pass by. The neighbors apparantly hadn’t opened up for anyone either.
“Keep your guard up. I know they are nearby,” I said to the men.
I continued down the hill in the car as we made our way to the next house. It took several minutes until we reached and arrived at the location. I then noticed a car cross the roading crossing ahead. My eyes squinted in confusion as I noticed the lights were off. Was that one of my mens cars? I wondered. Were they keeping their lights off so as not to get noticed by the boys?
I was about to ask who the car belonged to.
“Sir, over there!” one of my men in the told me point in the opposite direction. Following where he was pointing I found noticed there was movement. I decided to put the car I noticed aside.
I saw the two boys dash across the street and my eyes narrowed at them. “We got them!” I yelled out. I took out my phone and immediately gave out an order to my men. “I’m in the east area close to the 2nd house and have sight of the boys I want everyone in the area to surround them. ”
I got out the car and followed after the boys down the road. They were headed toward the third house. I knew they would try to contact the neighbors. I spotted some of my men also running in their direction.
Thank god they were actually paying attention.
The boys immediately began running in a different direction once my men had found them.
I stopped when I saw them rounding a corner. My men were waitng for them from the otherside luckily. As I rounded the corner to see if my men gotten them, I saw the boys try to turn back around but I had already seen them. They headed toward me. I hid behind the corner as they hadn’t seen me yet. They were heading back the way they came which was where I was.
I waited for them to arrive and as soon as their figures came into view I grabbed them.
“Got you!” I said as I snatched both boys up. One arm held each boy and held onto them
“Stop moving!” I threatened as i held out the gun at the boys. I fired a warning shot at him.
“Ah!” Tony screamed out and as he wriggled against my grip. My grip remained tight as I held on to both of them. Luckily Marco didn’t put up much of a fight.
“You boys have really done it now!” I said my anger literally seething through my grip.
“Let him go!” I then heard a familiar female voice.
Shocked i turned back and found a woman standing a short distance away. My eyes swuinted as i looked at her in the dim light of the street light.
Jasmine? I asked myself in shock.

JASMINE’S POV
It was about 4 hours later when we arrived in Redwood. The drive was agonising. It felt like we couldn’t get there fast enough. When we arrived I checked the time on the car dashboard, it was 2am.
“Kolton’s home is located on a hill so we’re going to be on higher ground,” Louis informed me.
We drove up and we got about midway before Louis stopped the car.
“Can’t go any further Kolton probably has surveillance around the place,” Louis commented.
I realized i must have had a terrifying expression on my face because he brought hand to shoulder and gently squeezed it.
” I’m nervous,” I explained.
“I know,” Louis said to me trying to console me. “We now have to figure out how we’re going to get in that house.” He took out a map and used his phone flashlight to light it from underneath. That way we could see the map without the light showing to outsiders.
“This is a rough plan of Kolton’s property,” he said showed to me. Our biggest issue is the lack of knowledge about his serveillance systems. Meaning we can’t
“I know we don’t want to get to close to the house but maybe we can drive and circle around with the lights off as we familiarize with the place or atleast the hill,” I told Louis.
“Yeah, that can help,” he agreed. He then gave his men some orders and fol
As we drove around, I looked around and noticed there tall grass fields, large rocks; lots of spacious area. There only appeared ot be three houses on the hill.
Perfect area to have a hide out and keep people against their will. Then something struck me as odd. As we drove around i noticed we were there several people moving around the area. Some were in the long grass with flashlights. Some were moving along the streets
“Is it just me or are there a lot of people moving around right now?” I pointed
I checked the time from the car dashboard and it was 3am. Way too early for this many people to moving around on a hill with 3 massively spaced out houses.
“Yeah that’s weird,” Louis pointed out as “It looks like they are looking for something too. Look at how some of them are holding flashlights as they look around.
“What are they looking for though?” I asked. This was so odd. “Think they came from Kolton’s property?”
“They may be,” he said to me. It’s either the security is that tight or they are looking for something.”
We noticed the people as we went past one house and then made our way up to the next house. From the corner of my eye as we crossed the intersection a flash of light caught my eye. Immediately my eyes looked in that direction and I noticed it was a car.
“Look there’s a car over there,” I said to Louis. The car stopped and reversed going back. “Looks like somethings going on.”
“Let’s follow then,” Louis said he turned the car around before turning into the in
From the dimlight of of the street light ahead, I caught sight of a man who was holding, no dragging two figures. They small. Like children. I caught a glimpse of the face of one of the boys.
“Tony!” I yelled.
“What?” Louis asked in confusion.
“That’s Tony!” I screamed out in shock.
“Oh my god,” Louis he said looking scared. “It is.”
“He’s grabbing him!” I yelled out.
I quickly grabbed the gun at his side.
“Jasmine what are you doing?” he said as he tried to grab it back. However, it was already too late as I opened the door.
“Wait Jasmine! It’s not safe!” Louis warned me.
Louis tried to lock the door but i had already opened. I jumped out and ran towards the boys.
“Jasmine!” Louis yelled after me. Cold night air hit me in the face as I ran towards Tony.
I could see him struggling against the hold of the man. I shortened the distance until he was only few feet away from me.
“Let him go!” I yelled out as my arms raised pointing the gun at him. Louis had only briefly showed me how to use a gun so I wasn’t exactly a pro. However, I was going to take a chance with it. I had to save my son and stop him.
The man slowly turned around and looked my way. I could only vaguely make out his face. I saw the glow of his golden-browinish eyes.
Was it Kolton? I asked myself. Tony looked my way and his eyes widened.
“Mum!” he called out to me and continued to wriggle around in the arms of the man. The other boy was also wriggling around and crying out he held looked similar to Kolton. I realized it was Marco.
“I’m here sweetie I’m going to get you!” I tried to reassure him.
“Jasmine, we meet again,” Kolton said.
