I Only Summon Villainesses - Chapter 362: Who Do You Think You’re Talking To?

We were led back to the underwater mountain port where Gilbert’s Nightyell sat peacefully. Speaking of Gilbert, he had been awfully silent since this morning. I could swear I had almost forgotten that he was part of this cohort.
We entered the ship and sailed through the air inside the dome, flying across three different islands before finally settling upon the one we were looking for.
Tristan glanced down at the island as we slowly descended.
“Gil, I don’t think landing is a great idea…”
Gilbert frowned. His tone was straight and devoid of any joy.
“Then what about extraction? Besides, I can’t keep her floating above their skyline.”
Nisha nodded.
“He’s right… we have to land.”
Tristan sighed.
“I’m looking at the number of guards they have at their port. That’s quite a hefty number for a clan. I can understand why the Boundless Wave Clan lost.”
“Whose side are you on, Tristan?” Nisha said, almost sounding salty.
Tristan allowed himself a brief smile.
“The side that won’t let me die easily.”
“I think you have better chances in another world altogether.”
I added and stood up, looking down through Nightyell’s window. Across the harbor — delicately crafted with glittering roofs that seemed to reflect the water back at it, their eaves curving upward like snakes — there were many submarine airships packed along the harbor’s edge, and different docks were fashioned with each ship tied to its berth.
Counting the ships, there were easily over twenty of them. Several men donned deep blue and white robes, moving around with swords either at their waists, in their hands, or behind their backs.
Their numbers on the shore alone were easily over a hundred, just from what I could see. For some reason, I felt bad for Levi that he had to do this… and slightly responsible for what Kassie had done.
But the truth was just… the truth.
At the same time, knowing Kassie very well, I knew she wanted to see this with her own eyes and gauge Levi’s skills. She had fought Tristan over and over again, enough to know his strength, but she knew very little about Levi. I did too.
Levi stood up at the same moment, twisting his wrist.
“It’s simple. We are going to land, decimate them, take what we came here for, and move out.”
He turned to Tristan.
“I’ll need cover. How big of a storm can you create here?”
Tristan studied the surrounding air outside the airship.
“The wind here is quite sparse. There’s very little wind that my summon can control.”
Levi nodded and smiled, his eyes half-lidded.
“Anything will do.”
He moved closer to the airship door on the opposite side from where I stood. As he opened it, he drove a blow into his own stomach, broke his tooth, and gave himself a thunderous punch across the eye… then separated into two.
Watching it play out was somewhat disheartening. Nisha stared, her eyes glimmering with restrained anger.
The wind around us picked up and began swirling around the airship. At first I wondered where Tristan’s summon was, but that wasn’t too hard to figure out. Almost immediately I felt the terrible tiger’s presence. It had taken the shape of the wind and was flying around the ship, gathering more wind and making it more violent while moving at a speed so fast I couldn’t see its body at all.
The storm grew and expanded. The sky darkened, and a tornado stretched down toward the island.
I could see the people on the island gathering and glancing up at the storm, unsure of what to do. At the same time, the ship descended gently.
Levi didn’t allow the ship to land completely before he descended.
The unscathed clone grabbed the one that had been injured, the original Levi, I presumed, then shoved him down and followed afterward, using him as some sort of landing pad.
Masked by the violent wind, both of them crashed into one of the ships docked at the harbor.
The warriors of the Crystal Deep Clan were still looking around, trying to figure out what had hit them. Some unsheathed their blades and rushed toward the docks. At the edge of the harbor wall, massive turrets emerged from openings in the wall.
Their muzzles immediately thundered with vicious firepower, tearing through the tornado.
At the same time, something was steadily reducing the number of men approaching the harbor. Watching it all from here was slightly amusing.
Confusion spread among them, and Levi somewhere inside that ship was slaughtering the men who came to investigate.
All of a sudden, one of the turrets slammed into Nightyell’s wing and completely shattered it, sending the ship spinning into the turbulent wind.
Nothing was safe out there, not even Tristan’s summon. I could see the worry on Tristan’s face as each turret thundered across the sky in quick succession, almost beating out a rhythm.
Sitting here and watching all of this was making me increasingly uncomfortable.
So I stood up.
As I did, Tristan shifted his eyes toward me.
“What are you doing?”
Gilbert was still struggling to balance the ship after that brutal strike, so the entire vessel continued shaking from time to time.
I gave Tristan a blank look.
“What else? Someone has to protect the ship. You can undo your summon… I’m of the opinion that a tornado of flames will hit harder than one of wind.”
I looked at Nisha and smiled.
“What do you think?”
She shrugged, her arms folded.
Even at a time like this, I couldn’t help but appreciate her curvy hips and wonder what I had missed and how her ass had gotten slightly bigger.
“But how are you going to reach the top of the ship? You need to stand there to do anything. And revealing yourself could make us an easier target.”
Nisha said it in a slightly worried tone.
I sighed.
“Who do you think you’re talking to?”
From that point, I vanished, leaving a white feather drifting to the ground. I appeared on the railing surrounding the lower side of the ship and stared directly at the top while I counted.
’One… two…’
Again I vanished and appeared on top of the airship.
Then I summoned the full force of the sanctifying white flames.
