- Chapter 1787 1787: The List of Gains (4)

“That is… wow.”
Seeing that the pattern from the last two titles had appeared on Ataraxia’s unique title, Valyr was briefly left at a loss for words as he stared at the title’s description with his mouth slightly agape.
Though reading through its description made him understand that the title he got would have more or less the same effect Ataraxia’s title had, the young man was still surprised by its effects.
After all, the title alone already contained 80% of the effects of the first two titles combined.
Yet, not only did he own a title like that, but he also owned the first two titles that came before it.
On top of that, he still had a title that looked to be a continuation of the set of the titles the two were currently looking at.
“I guess that’s also why the title is Immemorial grade,” said Valyr after going through the title’s description one more time. “After all, only titles of that rarity and higher can give such unbelievable effects.”
“Anything from Mythic grade onward is bound to have powerful effects.” Ataraxia nodded in agreement. “Anyways, what description does your version of the title have?”
“Let me check.” At those words, Valyr turned to look at the description of the title he had brought up some time ago.
Though, by the time he was done reading through it, he could not help but look out of the window in confusion.

[Immemorial Feat of Anomalous Ability] (Title)
Rarity: Immemorial
Most of the description has been omitted.
Though you’ve achieved a feat considered by many in the universe to be nigh-impossible, the ease and timing of such a feat has made the Administrators both curious and suspicious towards you.
In the end, with the help of constant verification and cross-referencing, the Administrators have come to the conclusion that you are an existence that could only be described as an anomaly.
…Whether that term is an insult or a compliment towards your ability is still up for debate.
A continuation of the [Myth-transcending Mortal] series of titles after [God Amongst Mortals], this title is only given to beings that have dealt at least 50 million damage to opponents that are of Myth-level or greater while still being within the realm of mortality.

“Whether that term is an insult or a compliment is still up for debate…?”
As he repeated the line that attracted his attention the most, the young man wondered if he had recently done something that had either irked or bothered the Administrators in some way.
Yet, no matter how much he wracked his brain to come up with an answer, Valyr eventually came to the conclusion that he hadn’t really done anything of the sort to the Administrators at all.
If anything, it was the Administrators themselves were messing around with him instead.
“Hahahaha!” While the young man began to question his understanding of the Administrators, Ataraxia let out a loud cackle after he was done reading through Valyr’s version of the title.
Though the effects of their respective titles were more or less the same, the tone of their title’s descriptions were anything but, with Ataraxia even feeling as if the Administrators were reminding the latter not to show off too much.
“Oh, I’m gonna die from laughter…” said the young man after catching his breath, causing Valyr to furrow his brows as the gears in his mind continued to turn.
In the end, after the latter relieved his stress by kindly strangling his other self, Valyr went ahead and brought up the last title he had gotten from killing the Giant Blazeworm King.

[Primordial Supremacy of the Sole Mortal Anomaly] (Title)
Rarity: Primordial
Most of the description has been omitted.
“…What the fuck?”
“No, seriously. What the fuck was that?”
“I know the guy’s pretty powerful for his class rank, like unbelievably so. I can even accept the fact that he can recreate the feat his companion did just moments earlier.”
“But can you tell me how he not only recreated that feat against an opponent that’s over 30 levels above his companion’s opponent, but also deal twice as much damage to it that we have TO MAKE A NEW FUCKING TITLE JUST TO COMMEMORATE IT?”
“…”
“…”
“…Haah. It’s those damned abilities, I tell you. Even a pig would be able to kill a dragon with a snort if it were given those abilities.”
“Who even thought it was a good idea to give such abilities to mortals anyway?”
“…”
“…The Apparatus did? Shit. Forget I said anything then.”
“Well, either way, raise your hand if you’re in favor of giving this overpowered as fuck mortal a new title for his achievement.”
“…”
“Guess that shouldn’t come as a surprise.”
“It’s funnier that way, after all.”
“Now to come up with a passive aggressive description for the title…”
– A verbatim excerpt from the 2nd Administrator during a Meeting of the Thirteen Skies
The Apparatus has deemed any possible description for the title a mockery of the incomprehensibility and unbelievability surrounding the achievement, thus it has decided to share a brief snippet of the excerpt that led to its recognition instead.
An unexpected continuation of the [Myth-transcending Mortal] series of titles after its newest addition, this title is only given to beings that have dealt at least 100 million damage to opponents that are of Myth-level or greater while still being within the realm of mortality.
Effects:
> 90% boost to DEX and INT
> 30% boost to all stats except DEX and INT
> 30% boost to maximum HP and MP
> 15% boost to Attack and Defense

“So it was the 2nd Administrator, huh…”
Once he was done reading through the description of his final title, Valyr’s expression slowly turned grim as the answer to one of his previous questions had finally revealed itself.
Of course, even though he now knew who caused the description of the previous title to turn out that way, the young man also understood that he wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.
The one who wrote the description was an Administrator, after all.
That title alone already told him that he couldn’t mess with someone like that.
“In any case, I’m surprised that this title is actually Primordial grade,” said the young man after that, looking through the title’s effects once more before closing the screen he brought up.
“Usually, a Primordial grade title would have a lot more effects than just boosting stats here and there,” he continued, only to shrug his shoulders soon after.
“Then again, this is the first time I’ve witnessed anyone below the Myth level obtain a Primordial grade title… as well as an Immemorial grade title now that I think about it.”
While continuing to ponder over what he had seen and heard in the past for a bit more, the young man went ahead and brought up his status screen in a bid to see how much the titles had improved his stats.
Though, when he finally laid his eyes on the numbers that greeted him, he could only stare at it with his eyes wide open.
