MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith - Chapter 1786 1786: The List of Gains (3)

“…Huh.”
By the time Ataraxia was done going through the description of his newly obtained title, he could not help but let out the exhale he’d been suppressing this entire time.
“Not gonna lie, I thought the difference between the two would be more drastic than that,” he said as he gave his other self the opportunity to look at the title. “But now that I know the effects are only 5% lower than the ones yours have, then it’s not that bad.”
“It really isn’t all that bad.” Valyr faintly nodded as he finished reading through the same title himself. “Even more so if you take something like [Soul Unification] or your [Descent of the Arcane Supreme] into consideration.”
“Then again, the fact that the 5% decrease also applies to the title’s reduction in the Damage Restriction System’s efficacy kind of sucks,” he added, letting out a soft sigh as he shook his head soon after.
“It’s not too much of a loss.” Ataraxia merely shrugged his shoulders at those words. “After all, even if it only offers the same level of reduction as [Slayer of Ascendants], I would still be able to deal more damage to higher-ranked beings in the end.”
Seeing that his other self was taking his new title in stride, Valyr decided not to dwell on the topic any further.
Instead, he shifted their attention towards all of the other titles they had gotten after killing their respective opponents.
“Say, how much do you think the other titles would give us?” Commanding the system to bring up the descriptions of all the other titles he had yet to go through, Valyr asked Ataraxia a question with a slightly raised eyebrow.
“Considering how much my strength went up after killing the Elder Wyvern, I’d say a good chunk,” answered the latter after giving it a bit of thought. “Well, at the very least, it would definitely be higher than what [Myth-transcending Mortal] gives.”
Hearing those words, Valyr faintly nodded in agreement as he turned to look at the screens that had appeared in front of him.
As far as he could recall, [Myth-transcending Mortal] was a title that offered a 10% boost to two of his main stats, as well as a 5% boost to all of his other stats.
Since all of the other titles he obtained from killing the Giant Blazeworm King were more or less a continuation of the title, what kind of boost would they give him in comparison?
Ding!

“Oh wow.”
“That’s a lot simpler than I thought it would be.”
By the time he was done going through the descriptions of the first two titles, Valyr’s eyes slightly widened in surprise after realizing that the two titles pretty much followed the same formula [Myth-transcending Mortal] had.
However, unlike [Myth-transcending Mortal], both titles offered a far greater boost to their stats, especially towards two stats that the titles themselves considered their main stats.
“A lot simpler, but also a lot more effective,” said Ataraxia, his smile filled with delight. “With just these two titles, we’ve gained a 25% boost to most of our stats, as well as a massive 75% boost to our two main stats.”
“To be honest, I thought the titles would be adjusted to something like 10% and 20% for [Mortal of Ancient Calamity],” said Valyr in return. “Yet, they instead approached the two titles as two copies and three copies of [Myth-transcending Mortal] respectively.”
“Then, it should come as no surprise that the title that comes after those two would be equivalent to four copies of [Myth-transcending Mortal], no?” asked Ataraxia with a hint of anticipation.
“That would be amazing if that were the case,” the former replied as he brought up his version of the title that came after [God Amongst Mortals] in front of him. “But I’m sure they’d finally adjust the values of the titles at this level.”
“…Or so you’d think.”
At first, Ataraxia did not respond to his other self because he was busy reading through the effects his version of the title gave him.
Though, by the time he was done, he gave his other self a slight grin as he went ahead and shared its contents with him through their connection.
“Take a look for yourself.”
Whoosh!
