Quest Name: Revival of the Monkey King
Quest Difficulty: Special
Quest Description: The Primordial Divine Beast Sun Wukong managed to fracture some parts of his soul when he sacrificed most of it. This ensured that be will be revived just in case most of his divine soul perishes. The Primordial Divine Beast Sun Wukong is a being that can never be killed but it also means he can still be prevented from reviving.
Collect parts of his soul in order to create a new Monkey King. The one that managed to collect all remaining parts of the monkey king’s soul will be able to command the new monkey king as their servant. Since this new monkey king is from the fractured soul of the Primordial Divine Beast Sun Wukong, it will not have the power of the divine beast but will have the potential to become a divine beast.
Clear Condition: Collect Fractured Soul of the Monkey King (3 / 3)
Clear Reward: The Monkey King will either become a pet, mount, or summoned beast.
Failure Condition: Unable to collect all fractured souls.
Failure: The Monkey King will not be revived.
Restriction: This quest cannot be shared and can only be done by the one that collects one of the fragments of the monkey king.

Description: A monster egg that has been filled with the divine spark of the deceased Monkey King who is considered as one of the Primordial Divine Beast Kings. The monkey beast that will hatch from this egg will gain the special strain of the Monkey King which can make them evolve to that path. It looks like a normal round stone which many can confuse it from as it does not look like an egg at all.

“Huh! The egg is not guaranteed to be legendary as there is a mythical variant. The unique thing is that the legendary variant guarantees the Monkey King evolution path but the mythical variant has the monkey king path and even rarer strain evolutions. If I play this right, I might be able to get the mythical variant since I have that thing sitting on my inventory and not being able to use it.” Adrian stated as Hanu suddenly started to wake up.
“Who are you?! What did you do to them?!” Hanu stated as he woke up and saw that his family are all sprawled out on the ground.
“It seems that you are tougher than you look even without the soul fragment of the monkey king. Why not ask the little one on your shoulder? It is good that you are awake because we will be having guests arriving in a few minutes.
Still, I do not want the recently injured to suddenly go and fight. The two of you seem to need some catching up to do so I shall deal with the guests that have arrived.” Adrian stated as the monkey beasts were suddenly absorbed by the shadows and appeared behind Hanu.
“Did Nukeela sent you?” Adrian asked just to be sure as the hunter might have told them that a strong being came to get the demi human he was hunting.
“Why would we be under that jerk when he does not even look at us at the same level. We are here for that brat and we need him alive. So, if you want to live then give us the kid and you will walk out of here barely alive.” A Rakshasa hunter stated and his head is that of a panther.
“I guess the god or goddess that commissioned to take Hanu must have deep pockets to mobilize numerous hunters for one boy. Still, I shall tell you this as Hanu no longer has what that god or goddess needs. I already have the divine spark that he has on his body which means he is now useless for all of you.” Adrian stated but he really wanted to make sure that the hunters will no longer go after Hanu.
Hanu heard what Adrian said and started to get teary eyed as Safed told him everything that the demon did for them. Hanu already has the powers of the soul fragment of the monkey king because his entire soul and body has been transformed by it but he no longer possesses the thing that the gods want. He was now free from being hunted down but he knows that he will never be at peace in this continent.
“I am sure that those wretched gods will want to take my body and examine it.” Hanu thought as he has heard news of that happening to special individuals that react to divine energy but he has never seen it before.
“Kuru kuru.” Safed stated as it told Hanu something that can help them in their predicament.
“That is a great idea, Safed! It will definitely help us and also repay the favor that we got!” Hanu stated as he watched the scene unveil before him and made sure to be vigilant as there might be others lurking about.
“If you have what we need then give it to us then we will spare you.” The Rakshasa hunter stated as he made a gesture with his hand to give the thing that they were commissioned for.
“Unfortunately, I already used it for the thing that I needed. The divine spark is no longer possible to be acquired since I used it up. Was that a good enough answer for your query, goddess?” Adrian stated even though he was concealing the fact that he has the egg which still contains not just one divine spark but three.
Adrian also managed to pierce through the concealment that one of the beings there is using. The concealment is something only a goddess on the power of a lesser god could do. Still, Adrian could see that the divine soul of this being is closer to that of a Rakshasa which means she managed to ascend to godhood. It seems she is the employer of these hunters and even joined them in stealth to make sure that she will not get robbed by them when they learn what she is after. After all, not all hunters are as honest with business as Nukeela.
“You managed to see through my disguise. As expected of the Mediator of Death, your reputation proceeds you.” A female Rakshasa stated as her disguise is that of a cheetah head humanoid even though her real form is different.
“You cannot hide your soul from my eyes after all. I have already told you that I already used the divine spark that you are looking for. It is no longer something that you can get because it is no more. Tell me, will you fight even though there is nothing there for you anymore?” Adrian stated as he exuded his pressure which made even the goddess step back from the pressure.
“I cannot just take your word for it, mediator. You could very well be lying to me” The goddess stated.
“I separated the divine spark from Hanu because it is a trace of a soul of the Monkey King. It is also the reason why he looks like that because he mutated due to its influence. I merely performed my duties as the one that governs Limbo to take the soul of a deceased even if it is a soul fragment.” Adrian stated as his aura spread throughout the plains and it made every hunter shiver.
“I… see. If you took it because of official duties then this goddess cannot say anything else. Still, it will look like I have made this trip for nothing. I will be glad if I can take the boy then since he is not part of your jurisdiction. You can only claim the dead after all, mediator.” The goddess stated as she now shifted her interest towards Hanu instead.
“If that is the…” Adrian started to speak but Hanu suddenly prostrated before him and begged.
“Please take me under your wing, benefactor. You are the reason why I could reunite with my best friend and brother. I need to repay the grace that you have given to me.” Hanu stated as he hugged Adrian’s feet even though he could feel terrifying energy emanating from him.
