Adrian once asked the Daemos Elders why they are not hunting down the Primordial Beasts when they can deal large amounts of damage and death. The answer that the Daemos Elders actually shocked him because he did not expect it. It seems that the Primordial Beasts were also part of the deal of non-aggression pact.

The Daemos usually left the Primordial Beasts alone because they are forces of nature and beings that are part of nature themselves. The only way for that non-aggression pact to not function is when a Primordial Beast becomes mad or lose their rationality that they destroy the world. The Daemos are given the heavy responsibility of maintaining the world barrier and touching it is already akin to nullification of the non-aggression pact.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg did not even care that the Daemos Elders have arrived because it has already lost its mind. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg desired more power than before and it got it but it also felt the power restricting it. The world barrier that weakens entities in the world has become a presence that stops the Primordial Beast Nidhogg from achieving its vision.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg no longer cares about the repercussions because it only wants to achieve the full power of a High God. It wants to enter the ranks of powerful beings that can reshape the world on a whim. The world barrier is restricting those powers which is why it is now targeting it with all its might.

The red gem inside of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is also adding more to its madness as the light of reason could no longer be seen from its eyes. Before, the Primordial Beast Nidhogg could be seen to think but it no longer uses that intelligence that it gained. What matters more to the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is that it will be the only being in the world that even other gods will bow down for.

The appearance of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is not a secret anymore as Adrian never intended to hide its presence. In fact, numerous demigods and divine beings already sensed its presence as soon as it arrived. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is also an interesting divine being for others as they never seen a being created to devour world trees.

One might say that world trees are a necessity in the world for it to keep living but that is not entirely true. A world tree is just like any other being in a world and it can die but it can also be revived again. There is a reason why a world tree seed is always created as soon as one world tree dies. The difference is that growing the seed is not always a fast process.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is a primordial beast that is created to devour the world tree but it usually devours them when their lives are already at their end or they could no longer sustain the life on the world they are rooted in. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg would then gestate the world tree seed in its stomach and then empower the seed using the processed energy of the devoured tree.

The processed energy of the devoured world tree will then be injected onto the devoured world tree seed. This would give the world tree seed more energy and more power compared to before. You could say that the world tree seed undergoes a rebirth because of this. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg would then excrete the world tree seed as it cannot digest it.

The excreted world tree seed would then take root on the soil and grow to be the new world tree. This was a perfect cycle that would ensure that the world tree of any given world will be stronger and perpetual. Everything would be perfect if all occurred as what is intended but there are certain forces that wants to throw the balance off.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg that is in Alfheim is unlike other beings that had the same function as it. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg devoured all of the energy that the world tree gives and instantly uses it to strengthen their body. You can even say that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg has become something that has abandoned its real purpose.

“GET OUT OF MY WAY! VERMIN!” The Primordial Beast Nidhogg shouted as its head and arms suddenly elongated to try and devour the Daemos Elders.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg did not care who appeared because it was dead set on destroying the world barrier. With its current strength, the destructon of the world barrier might not be instant but it is a huge possibility. The three Daemos Elders already knew that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg cannot be reasoned with and immediately used their abilities.

Shackles made from temporal energy suddenly clung to the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg as Elder Koronn wants to restrain its movements. The shackles clung to its body while Elder Ascalor suddenly created spatial disks that can slice even space itself. Elder Ascalor launched these spatial disks to try and behead all of the snake heads that dared to attack them.

Elder Bronx then fortified all of their spells so that it will become more durable and also more lethal. The combined might of the Daemos Elders should have been enough to at least stop the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. All of their spells magnified the strength of each other as they have exemplary synergy even though they are always bickering with one another.

The Daemos Elders are even thinking of a follow up attack when a red aura covered the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. The red aura then destroyed the spells that were made of time, space, and force energy. The Daemos Elders became shocked upon witnessing such a thing as primordial beasts are still bound to the rules of time, space, and force. It should have been impossible for it to destroy those spells easily as its physical body should at least be restrained.

“That energy!” Elder Koronn stated as he suddenly remembered such terrifying energy since he encountered it before.

“OUT OF THE WAY, ANTS!” The Primordial Beast Nidhogg shouted as it released a powerful pulse of that red energy that actually sent the Daemos Elders crashing to the ground.

Elder Ascalor managed to reduce his fall by creating a portal that solidified his gravity. Elder Koronn did not crash as he literally froze time around him which led him being suspended for a few seconds. Elder Bronx, on the other hand, just created a large crater but he just stood up as if there was nothing that happened.

“What was that?!” Elder Ascalor asked as he looked towards Elder Koronn since the latter seemed to have an idea.

Just before Elder Koronn could answer, the Primordial Beast Nidhogg actually sped up as its body crashed into an imaginary ceiling in the sky. The loud sound of something cracking is heard to all of the world. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg actually cracked the world barrier with one of its charges. A heavy rebound is felt by all of the Daemos as they are connected to the world barrier after all.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is not unscathed though as it felt a massive rebound on its body as soon as it crashed into the world barrier. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg got sent crashing down just like that of Elder Bronx and created a large crater. All of the players in the area had to immediately escape as soon as Adrian told them that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is crashing down on the ground.

Unfortunately, the Primordial Beast Nidhogg crashed at a fast speed which killed off some of the players that were supposed to hunt it down. Adrian moved quickly and managed to teleport some of the players away but some still got caught and died. Fortunately, they were able to avoid another instant kill because of Anastacia’s last spell.

“AGAIN! MORE POWER!” The Primordial Beast Nidhogg shouted as its injured body stood up once more and spread its wings.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg totally forgot about devouring the world tree as its hunger has changed to that of power. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is now hungry for power compared to before that is only hungry for world trees. The Daemos Elders could not stay still as a few more hits would definitely destroy the world barrier.

“Stop it! Use the Origin Prison!” Elder Ascalor stated as all of the elders vanished from their location once more and appeared on top of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.

“Time is Sealed!” Elder Koronn stated.

“Space is Sealed.” Elder Ascalor added.

“Force is Sealed.” Elder Bronx added as well.

All seals created by the Daemos Elders manifested in the air and fused together as soon as they were created. The seals then created a powerful magic circle that sealed all energy in the body and made it unusable for anyone. Even the players that were far from the seal felt that their own magic and skills could fail if they are close.
