Online Game: I Have A 100\% Drop Rate - Chapter 323: Emilia’s Special Test

Once they were done with all of that drama in the street, Leon and Celeste quickly rushed through the district toward the [Awakener Association] building, where they found Emilia waiting for them near the entrance with an anxious expression on her face.
“Celeste~” the elf girl beamed with overwhelming joy as she jumped forward to hug her friend tightly, “Seeing you die like that back there was absolutely terrifying, please never do that again, ever!”
“H-Haha…” Celeste scratched the back of her head awkwardly, “I’ll try my best to avoid dying… but I definitely need to get much stronger before I can make any promises like that.”
“We will get stronger together, I am sure of it!” Emilia said with determination burning in her eyes as she finally let go of Celeste.
“But Leon,” Celeste turned toward him with a concerned expression, and she pointed upward at the sky above them, “What about this thing?”
Leon looked up, the massive swirling vortex of [Oblivion Meteor] was still actively present above the kingdom, the meteor still ready to fall at any moment if he chose to release it.
“Just keep it there for now,” he grinned with a hint of mischief in his eyes, “That way, both the guardians and the awakener lord all know that the possibility of me using the forbidden spell is still on the table at all times.”
After all, if he removed the vortex and dispelled the meteor entirely, there was a massive chance that the guardians would immediately rush to kill them all without any hesitation.
As long as they had this small edge hanging over everyone’s heads, Leon believed that they would be somewhat safe from any immediate attacks or ambushes.
“Lets complete your special test right now,” Leon spoke directly to Emilia.
Emilia nodded in agreement and tapped a few times in the air on her own interface before swiping her hand toward both of her companions, sending the special test details to them through the system.
[Go to the “Forest of Oblivion” realm in the “Advanced District” and clear it by defeating the “Orc of Oblivion”, you will automatically complete the test once done.]
“Did the boss actually kill you when you attempted it before?” Leon asked, “Or was it something else that got you in the end?”
“No, it was not the boss,” Emilia shook her head with a frustrated sigh, “I was ambushed by a massive horde of monsters all at once, and since they were all level ninety, I didn’t stand a chance against that many of them at the same time by myself.”
Even normal monsters at level ninety should have around 2.8 million combat power if not 3 million depending on their specific type.
Leon was able to defeat them rather easily on his own, and even the bosses posed little threat to him at this point, but for any other player at his level, even people like Celeste and Emilia who were far stronger than average, it was far too difficult to handle alone.
’Should focus on boosting Emilia’s spirit attribute as much as possible going forward,’ Leon thought to himself, ’Because for every single spirit point she gains, it counts as ten points in terms of her magical power output.’
If he grinded for just a few days and gave all of the essence drops to Emilia exclusively, he was sure that she would grow tremendously in power and catch up to his level much faster than anyone expected.
That was something he planned to do in the near future, though at the same time he needed to focus on not leveling up too fast himself.
It would become easier to manage his level as he got higher up though, because as he defeated monsters much weaker than him that still gave amazing drop, the experience points he would get from killing them would become negligible over time.
Emilia currently had around 2.4 million combat power according to her, which was absolutely amazing for someone of her current level.
“I still managed to kill a few of them before I got overwhelmed and died,” Emilia puffed out her chest with pride at her small accomplishment, “My high spirit attribute makes it very difficult for them to survive my attacks, and they also have a hard time killing me in return because of my high constitution protecting me.”
Leon nodded with approval.
If Emilia wanted to complete this special test entirely by herself without any help from him, Leon knew for sure that she would be able to do it by grinding for several days or even weeks and increasing her level gradually through the normal process.
But since he did not feel like waiting that long for her to catch up, he would simply help her clear it quickly and efficiently so they could all move on to bigger and better things together.
“As long as you contribute to the boss’s kill in some meaningful way, I think it will count toward completing the test just fine,” Leon grinned confidently, “Lets do this and get it over with.”
The group entered the [Awakener Association] building and headed straight toward the [Realms] section where all the portals and challenges were located.
Leon did not even bother going to check the [Market] right now even though he was now officially S-Rank and had access to better stuff.
He would much rather wait until he went to the [Awakener District] itself, where the best items in the entire domain would almost certainly be available for purchase.
They found the spot where the [Forest of Oblivion] portal was located, and as expected, it was the hardest realm among all of them in this entire association building.
’These tests are hard as hell for the average player.’
Reaching the [Awakener District] was something that many players never managed to do simply because of the special tests’ difficulty, and most of them gave up long before they ever got close to completing it.
They took the hall leading toward the realm, and entered a chamber where there was grass and trees growing in strange patterns, as well as some purple corruption particles floating all around the environment, with faint purple eyes seemingly gazing at them from every shadow.
The portal leading to the actual realm was right there in front of them as well, and Leon did not waste any time hesitating or preparing further.
He approached the portal directly, and a panel immediately appeared before him with several options to choose from.
