Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1512 The Bald Kid

Chapter 1512 The Bald Kid
One moment, Kent was at the point of death with no salvation in sight. Then, the next, a bald kid appeared from thin air, and the attack that could have killed Kent and even left a permanent crater was caught in one hand.
The strange part was that everyone recognized the bald kid at first glance. Naturally, nobody expected him to appear here today, especially to save a nobody like Kent.
As the corporeal form of the sword intent left behind by Lord Genesis, saving a mere Sword King was the last thing they expected.
After the attack failed, the old man from the Soul Temple distanced himself from Kent.
The kid ignored him and pointed his finger, causing the three demigods who had attacked Kent and his ladies to come to a sudden halt. Then, with a wave, all three of them were pulled toward him alongside Lene, Fallon, and Vika.
They rushed to Kent’s side, and Lene started healing him.
“Kill him,” Kent said, barely holding on to his breath. He tried hard to keep his consciousness active. However, he was beyond tired, so after issuing the order, he passed out, his consciousness drifting into a distant dreamland.
“Okay, big brother.” The kid narrowed his eyes at the old man, who felt a wave of dread fall on him. He pulled out a treasure and tried to use it to escape. However, just when he moved, a wave of sword energy so powerful he couldn’t describe fell on him, sending him crashing down to the ground.
At that time, the energy surrounding Inaya, Ainna, and the rest of the spectators was lifted.
Inaya tried to rush to Kent’s side. However, she slammed into an invisible wall.
“Nobody is allowed to get close to my big brother,” the bald kid announced before turning toward the old man.
Inaya sighed, a wave of pain appearing in her eyes.
“Kid, let me go, or else you will invoke the wrath of the entire Soul Temple,” the old man said. He made a desperate attempt to earn his freedom, but it was futile. Naturally, that was shocking considering he is a Celestial, yet he had to resort to begging to earn his freedom. Then again, the kid was someone who single-handedly defended this planet from all forms of danger across many eras with nothing more than his aura.
The old man is screwed.
The bald kid flashed a mocking smirk and muttered coldly: “I don’t care.”
With a wave of his hand, a large sword appeared in the air and moved toward the old man, causing him to grit his teeth and slap the pouch hanging at his waist.
A round disc appeared.
Then, with a gentle tap on his forehead, he pulled out a blood essence. It landed on the disc, causing a powerful wave of energy to explode from his body.
“I will repay this humiliation a millionfold.” His body shrank, and before the sword could land on him, he vanished into the disc. The void cracked, and the disc vanished into it.
The kid sighed and turned toward Kent. A second later, his gaze turned and locked onto Ainna.
Her body trembled. “Release him, or else you will die.”
His small voice, while sweet, caused Ainna to panic. She knew what the kid was referring to, so upon hearing his command, she obeyed instantly.
With a wave of her hand, an artifact appeared in her hand. He pointed his finger at it, causing a circular array to appear around it. Then, with a wave, it dispersed.
Lene instantly felt her connection to the tower reestablished. She immediately reached out to Vexthra before she vanished into the tower along with Kent’s body.
Vika and Fallon followed.
The kid turned and looked at the three demigods. He snapped his finger, and a formation formed around them. Afterward, he looked at Ainna and Inaya. Before any of them could react, they vanished, appearing in a completely different place.
To make matters worse, they felt their energy suppressed to the level of the Heavenly Ascension stage.
The three demigods were rendered immobile. They were the attackers, after all. As for Inaya and Ainna, their bodies tensed, but they could move their limbs.
Meanwhile, inside the Harem Tower, Vexthra and her sisters appeared just when Lene and Kent also arrived.
“What happened?” Vexthra asked in a panicked voice.
“We were attacked, but three demigods and a Celestial.” “WHAT?”
The girls shouted in fright, Elaine rushing to Kent’s side. Her hair turned green, sending a potent wave of healing energy through the air. She cast five healing spells in rapid succession, causing all color to drain from her face.
Kent’s body was bathed in the radiant energy of healing magic.
“Why didn’t you call us?” Miryssa asked.
“I tried, but something or someone severed the connection between us.” Lene tried many times to call for help; however, every attempt failed thanks to Ainna’s artifact.
“Then how did you escape?” Lilian asked, using her own healing magic to heal the wounds that Vika had sustained.
“We didn’t escape. Just when the danger had reached its peak, a certain kid appeared and saved us.”
As if right on cue, a bald-headed kid appeared from thin air, frightening everyone present. He ignored them and walked toward Kent’s body.
When he was close enough, he pressed his index finger on his forehead for a few seconds before a sigh escaped his lips.
“Relax, everyone. Big brother will be fine. He just needs a nap.”
While they had no idea who this kid was, hearing his words made them breathe a sigh of relief. However, they still felt wary of him.
As if reading their minds, he smiled and said:
“I have brought the attackers here, so when you are done here, you can come question them.” After saying that, he vanished and appeared inside the Legion Tower, where the three demigods, Inaya and Ainna, were being held.
“Big sister, do you know who that kid was to Kent?”
“I don’t; however, I think he is someone very dangerous. It would be best if we don’t antagonise him until Kent wakes up.”
The ladies nodded.
“I will go see who dared to attack our man,” Miryssa said before vanishing away. Some of the girls followed her, while the rest decided to help Vexthra take care of Kent first.
After 30 minutes, they cleaned his body and tucked him in before joining the rest of their sisters in the Legion Tower.
Meanwhile, back on Planet Brymrr, everyone was still left in shock, some wondering just what had happened.
The outcome they expected didn’t happen. Instead, a Celestial appeared and was driven away with his tail tucked between his legs.
Those who were at the auction and recognized Kent wondered just what his background was. The fact that the sword intent left behind by Lord Genesis came to his rescue said everything.
Kent is no simple person. Some even said he might be related to Lord Genesis. While the man in question had been dead for billions of years, there is no reason to believe he hadn’t left a son or two behind.
The fact that his sword intent came to protect Kent made them believe so.
In the end, they could only wonder. After all, nobody could come up with a tangible reason why any of this happened.
However, they were left wondering who had informed the Soul Temple of the Spirit Painter’s presence. Also, while many had no idea Kent was the Spirit Painter, how then did they know Kent was the one?
This question made everyone start to suspect the one who put the paintings up for sale. In the end, it was concluded that, until the Soul Temple points fingers at the one responsible—something that would never happen—all the blame and suspicion falls on Lady Annette.
