Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1530 Strange Spear

Chapter 1530 Strange Spear
Kent never had the chance to ask about the rest of his legion when he woke up from his coma. The plan was to catch up with them back then; however, that changed when he met Inaya inside the Tower.
He never expected to find her in the tower.
So he didn’t know Avotha, and a few of his legions had embarked on a mission to rescue a princess who had been sold into slavery. This was why he was a bit stunned when he saw Vargus locked in battle against two demigods.
His voice, however, was drowned in the painful cry of the demigod whose arm Vargus had severed.
Inaya turned and looked at him. Then she asked:
“Do you know him?”
“Yes. He is one of my friends.” Kent turned and saw that Kailan and Fero were also locked in fierce battle with their opponents. Fero unleashed a powerful dragon tail slash, splitting the void open.
From within, a dragon fang appeared and stabbed at the chest of one of the two Immortal Lords he was fighting.
Black blood oozes from the stab, invoking a painful scream from the Immortal Lord.
Kent smiled and turned to look at an Immortal King whose head was pierced by an invisible rope, only to be dragged into the void the next second.
‘That sneaky coward,’ he smiled weakly, knowing Axiom had already created a horrific prison in the void, using it to house the people he was kidnapping. Later, he would apply spices in the form of torture before devouring them.
Kent thought about using their shared connection to call out to him and tell him to eat only half of the immortals. The other half would be used to upgrade his undead.
The sudden explosion in the distance, however, drew his attention, causing him to pause. Extending the Soul Map, he managed to see what was happening there.
Even long before the explosion, he had already sensed a familiar presence coming from that direction.
The moment the soul map covered her range was when he saw the man, whom he had no idea where he had gone all this while.
A few days after Kent and his friend left for the Supreme Immortal Sect, back on Sonox (the medium world where Kent first appeared after his transmigration), Uncle Drake also left.
He said he was heading to a planet far from Sonox, and so he might lose contact with them for a few years. Kent wanted to ask who would become Sonox’s guardian, since that was the job he had given him.
After all, when he helped him transform from a flame drake to a flame dragon, he promised to do him a solid. Leaving without doing even one year of his service was a bit disappointing.
He was, however, surprised to find out Leviathan, the overlord of the Ancient Sea Race, chose to step in for 1,000 years before ascending.
Since then, he and Uncle Drake never spoke.
Today, they met again, only that this time, Uncle Drake wasn’t the same calm dragon he knew. The man had now become someone he recognized from his past life as Chaos.
‘Ignarax,’ Kent said inwardly, a faint smile appearing on his face.
“Is he also one of your friends?” Inaya asked with an amused look. Looking at the smile on Kent’s face, she could tell he knew the redhead dragon man, too.
“I do. Though I never expected him to be here.” He turned and looked at Inaya. “Have you heard of the Primordial Flame Dragon? He was like a duplicate of the Primordial Chaos Dragon.”
Inaya squinted her eyes and looked at Uncle Drake’s back. “Don’t tell me he was that monster.”
“In the flesh.”
“I see. I guess that explains why he can was holding back a pseudo-god as a pretend demigod.” Inaya had been suppressed to the rank of a demigod since they were in an Immortal World. However, even with such strength, she could tell Uncle Drake was not really a demigod.
If anything, the dagger he was wielding possessed the power of a demigod. But if that was the case, how then was his opponent, who had the power of a pseudo-god stage cultivator, bleeding all over?
“Those arrogant Flame Dragons are going to flip if they learn both the Chaos Dragon and Flame Dragon have returned.”
“That would indeed be a problem. I guess I’d better hide my true nature for now. Disguising as an Ice Dragon will—”
Kent paused and let a smile appear on his face. “You wouldn’t happen to have heard anything about the Ice Dragon Monarch, would you?”
Inaya shook her head, making Kent sigh. “Then I am good to go.”
Inaya wanted to ask why he asked such a question. Her words caught in her throat when something else drew their attention.
The ground suddenly shook, and a large centipede slithered out. Its long, scaly body was marred by several deep wounds.
The length of the centipede alone was over 1.5 km. Such a monstrosity most often happened to be the one to inflict pain and injuries, not the other way around.
So, for it to be gravely wounded and even pushed near death was a bit scary and somewhat intriguing.
It rose into the air and then transformed into a pale, demonic-looking lady wielding a dark spear. Kent raised his brow when his gaze landed on the spear.
Just then, a crazy voice filled with amusement came from the hole the centipede came out of. “I really like it when they struggle, hoping to escape the inevitable.”
Avotha appeared, his expression calm. There wasn’t even a single wound on his body. Rather, his sword seemed to have some blood on it, clearly from the injuries inflicted on Warlord Biana.
He pointed his sword at her and asked:
“Ready to surrender and let yourself be cut down, or should we do it the hard way?”
“Die, you crazy bastard.” The spear in her hand vibrated. She burns her life force, causing waves of energy to pour into the sword.
Just when her reserve was almost drained, one of the nine runes on the spear lit up.
At once, the air around turned cold. This coldness, however, wasn’t from ice, but from a deadly killing intent, the kind that made even Inaya tremble.
Instinctively, her hold on Kent tightened
Kent, who held a smile on his face when he saw Avotha appear, frowned. Suddenly, however, he felt a bad premonition, so without even knowing how, he appeared before Warlord Biana and grabbed the spear.
“I will be taking that.”
He yanked the spear from her hand and was about to teleport away when a net fell from the clouds, aimed to envelop him.
Kent turned sideways and smirked. “Futile attempt that leads to an inevitable end.”
His eyes flashed crimson. Then he extended his hand, and Gaap appeared in it. He closed his eyes for a brief moment. When he opened them, a wave of sword intent poured from them.
“Heaven and Earth Cleaver.”
He swung his sword, and a thin line fashioned from sword aura flashed out, cleaving through the net. But it didn’t stop there; the attack cut the cloud in half, revealing a green-skinned demon king looking down at him.
He extended his hand, and the attack landed on his palm, exploding in sparks of flame and mists of smoke.
Kent stored away the spear and spun the sword in his hand. He turned and looked at Avotha and smiled before teleporting out of the way for him to land a deadly punch on Biana’s face.
Inaya appeared beside him, and they both turned and looked at the demon king.
“I suppose you aren’t trying to interfere, Your Highness?” Kent asked with a small smirk, before adding, “It would be sad if we had to cross swords knowing it wouldn’t end well for you.”
The air hung with anticipation as the two locked in a fierce gaze.
The Demon King, who had lost his only chance to obtain the spear he had been eyeing for years, maintained his murderous gaze on him for a few moments before he teleported away.
