Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1531 Reckless Decision

Chapter 1531 Reckless Decision
There were a few things that could have gone wrong had Kent not appeared on the battlefield when he did.
The battle, while the Silent Graves were bound to lose, considering Axiom, Kailan, Fero, and Vargus would probably end up killing all of its members, the same could not be said for Avotha.
Physically, he is stronger than Warlord Biana. He has more techniques and an even stronger bloodline than she. However, she had something Avotha would have fallen prey to: her weapon.
The spear she wielded wasn’t an ordinary weapon. In fact, it is quite dangerous to both Avotha and everyone in the 100,000km radius.
That weapon would have brought great calamity had Kent not seized it when he did. She would have severely wounded Avotha, and if motivated enough, she would have succeeded in killing him, too.
The spear has a deadly track record, the kind that Kent doesn’t know, but he felt deep within his soul that it must be seized before it was successfully activated.
As if arranged by fate, Kent’s presence was vital in that critical moment.
But he himself, for a moment there, found himself in danger. By seizing the spear, he had unknowingly destroyed the plan crafted by the Demon King of the Graves Demon Continent.
He had been waiting patiently for Avotha to kill Warlord Biana so he could take the spear he had eyed for thousands of years. Now, he had lost that, and on top of that, he was afraid of the beautiful lady by Kent’s side.
While it was admirable how Kent cleaved through his attack, he wasn’t afraid of him. Killing Kent would be very simple. However, Inaya’s presence was a danger to him, so he retreated.
In the future, when he is capable, he will seek out Kent, and regardless of who is beside him, he will get the spear that, should he have gotten his hands on it, would propel him to the rank of a god much more easily.
Inaya smirked, watching the demon king retreat.
“You really should learn who you pick fights with.”
Kent chuckled and took her hand, placing it on his chest. “I knew you wouldn’t let him bully me.”
Inaya shook her head, clearly understanding how shameless her man is. But knowing he could rely on her made her feel special.
‘Good thing you retreated, bastard. How I would have enjoyed cutting you down.’
Kent could feel the unmistakable Evil Qi that had always oozed from Inaya’s body whenever she planned something evil. This made him thank the stars for the demon king, who may have just made the best decision of his life.
Turning slightly, she regarded the battle between Vargus and the two demigods. One had lost an arm, and the other was barely holding her scythe.
The brute held an amused expression on his face:
“It is amusing, really. I had in the past fought harrowing demons and slaughtered them in a few swings.” He blocked the stabbing attack from the one-armed demigod and pushed back. Then he ducked before his foot rose and landed a backward kick on the female demigod.
“It is a bit shocking you two still manage to hold on for this long,” he said, and he jumped into the air, raising his axe overhead, both hands gripping the wooden handle.
Three runes ignited on his veined arm, sending torrents of energy into the axe. “You two are decent warriors. Too bad I have to kill you now.” Just when he was about to descend with his attack, Kent appeared before the two demigods and pressed his finger against their foreheads.
“Look into my eye,”
With their eyes widened from the danger descending on them, they stared deep into his eyes. A moment later, their arms went limp, and they dropped to their knees. Then life slowly slipped out of their bodies.
Kent became pale, dropping to his knees. Almost all soul energy was drained from his body. Inside the Soul Universe, thousands of soul spirits exploded, flooding his soul with soul essence.
COUGH COUGH
“Are you alright?” Inaya’s panicked voice entered his ears.
“I am fine, love. I just wanted to see how far I can stretch my soul,” he paused, and inside his soul sea, his soul’s body looked up at the crack that had formed in the air…
“I guess I overestimated myself.”
Inaya frowned, “Of course you did, you dumb bastard. Do you really think the soul of a mortal is strong enough to kill two demigods?”
Kent looked at the bodies of the two dead demigods, “I mean—”
“Shut up and let me heal you,” she pressed her palm against his back, and a torrent of soul energy surged into his soul sea, causing the blood sea to surge.
“How are you not dead right now?” Inaya asked…
“You will understand soon,”
A few seconds later, her brow raised. “I see. Looks like you aren’t that weak in soul arts. But I am still pissed, and I am pretty sure my sisters will be pretty pissed when they learn of what you have done.”
“Your sisters, huh. I like the sound of that,”
“Shut up,”
All around, everyone turned and looked at them, some wondering just what Kent had done, while others tried to make sense of what any of this meant.
They couldn’t understand why this battle started. All they knew was that Warlord Biana was one of the most dangerous people on Planet Skar. Many fear her; even the demon king is wary of her. So for her to be attacked at her base of operations, they couldn’t wrap their minds around it.
Most shocking, however, was that a 6th person was locked in battle with someone whom many didn’t know.
However, if they had a faint idea who that tattooed-faced man was, by now, all of them would be rallying with Uncle Drake to kill him. Granted, he was already in terrible shape.
Even Kent didn’t know why this battle was happening in the first place. He was spending a great time with his wife when he sensed a sudden invocation of his name, only to emerge at the center of a battle his legion was waging.
He didn’t even know how it happened, but he had stopped a massacre from a cursed weapon and even killed two demigods—barely clinging on to his life afterward.
In fact, feeling his soul slowly mend, he had one other person to thank.
Seated at the edge of the Mountain Garden, the bald kid shook his head and muttered, “Big brother is as reckless as ever,”
Kent’s voice then entered his head, causing him to frown, “Thanks, Baldy.”
“I don’t like that name, Big Brother.”
“Too bad. Until you grow a strand of hair, your name will always be Baldy, so get used to it,”
He pouted and shot his legs a few times before jumping off the edge, plummeting toward the crystal ground of Gaiaville.
He never went splat. Instead, he landed with a gentle grace and walked toward a candy store, muttering curses under his breath, “Bastard Big Brother,”
Back on the battlefield, Kent smirked and turned to Vargus… “What are you guys doing here?”
Before he could answer, the void cracked, and Axiom walked out holding a cube-shaped artifact forged from what appeared to be void stone.
He turned and waved at Kent, “Master, you are here too,”
“Yes, I am here, Axiom.” He grinned and turned his gaze to the cube, causing Axiom to hide it behind him. But it was already too late, “Why don’t you hand over the Void Prison for safekeeping, buddy?”
