Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1600 Dragon Intent Unleashed

“Hold on a minute, Yggzrael. Did you just say you had become a subordinate of a Monarch? But how?” Morveth was left in shock, learning that Yggzrael had become Kent’s subordinate.
From what he had heard of Monarchs, they would not lower themselves to take unranked beasts as their subordinates.
In fact, most came down to the Chaos or Tormented Layer to train through bloodshed. Their servants are mostly Divine Beasts, and sometimes even Monarch Beasts.
A monarch having another monarch as their servant is a clear sign of superiority and privilege.
Many of the unranked beasts had died at the hands of such tyrannical beasts in the past. So for Yggzrael to say he had become a subordinate of one and even wanted Morveth to join him left the poor demigod in great shock.
“First of all, it would be in your best interest to wipe all such thoughts from your head. My Young Lord is someone very powerful. In fact, when he tested me, I could not handle even one of his attacks.”
“WHAT?”
Morveth’s eyes widened. “Surely you must be joking, right? You are the strongest in this region, Yggzrael. Unless the attack came from a god, I am sure you could handle it.”
Yggzrael smiled. “I do not know what to tell you, Morveth. I activated all three god-grade defensive techniques I have, yet they all shattered under the weight of his attack. In fact, I never even got to receive the attack head-on, since it overpowered me with just the pressure it exuded.”
“That is…” Morveth was tempted to call Yggzrael’s bluff. However, knowing the kind of beast Yggzrael was, he knew he would not lie just to rope him into becoming someone else’s subordinate.
If anything, the kind of rivalry between them would have compelled Yggzrael to stand on the side and watch them all burn.
But here he was, recruiting him to join Kent’s legion.
“Then, compared to that monster hidden in the Central Region, who is the strongest?” Morveth asked, prompting Yggzrael to frown slightly.
“That…” he paused and reexamined Kent’s power and then that of the monster Morveth had referenced. “Honestly, I cannot tell who is stronger. However, I have seen enough of that monster’s power, and so for now, I will say he is stronger.
But you must understand, my Young Lord is just a True Immortal, so maybe he is far more monstrous, considering he defeated me. And I am certain he would defeat you, too.”
Morveth could only sigh and nod at Yggzrael’s words.
To be frank with himself, all demigods inside the Tormented Layer were scared of only two things. The first were the Monarch Beasts, mostly from the Chaos and Abyss Layers.
Every few thousand years, they came by to hunt, which they called training. Every time they appeared, all the beasts ran and hid from them, making sure they only came out after they left.
The second was the monster hidden inside the Central Region.
They feared him so much because of the powers he possessed. He was also a Monarch, and his combat power rivaled that of even True Gods.
In the past, when the Monarchs came from the Chaos Layer to hunt, he was the only one who did not run. And that was even before he became a Monarch.
One time, he killed another Monarch Beast that had come from the Chaos Layer, and because of that, three God Beasts were sent over to kill him, only for him to end up killing them.
This incident sent shockwaves throughout the Tormented Layer. Many expected the Monarchs in the Chaos Layer to send more gods after him. However, to their shock, they did not follow up on it.
Since then, whenever new Monarchs arrived, they made sure never to venture into the Central Region.
So, for Yggzrael to say Kent was on the same level as that monster, despite Kent being only a True Immortal, he became interested in Kent.
“One last thing, you have five days to respond to his summon, else do not blame me for not warning you,” Yggzrael said, then left.
A few minutes later, Morveth followed him.
He recognized where Yggzrael was headed, and so he decided to join and see what the others would say.
Three days later, all four of them stood in Yggzrael’s domain, staring from 400 km away as Kent sat there still absorbing the Chaos Essence.
“I have seen millions of Immortal-level beasts, but this person scares me,” Kryzoth, the Frozen Fang, said, his eyes exuding waves of ice.
Among the four demigod rulers in the northern region, he is the weakest, but also the most mysterious. Over the years, they had all suspected he was hiding his power. However, since he was only an Early Demigod, they placed him at the lowest rank.
Yggzrael smiled and said proudly, “Wait until you face the Young Lord in battle. I am sure you will finally reveal the power you have been hiding from us.”
Baelgor, the Thunder Mammoth, laughed. “I do not know if what you said is indeed true, Yggzrael, but I want to test if he can break past my defense.”
Among the four of them, Baelgor had the strongest defense and offense, thanks to his robust body and affinity for lightning.
In the past, he and Yggzrael had fought to a stalemate. Right now, he could sense that Yggzrael had become much stronger. Seeing his rival had surpassed him, he accepted Kent’s offer when Yggzrael reached his domain.
They all wanted to come and test the waters first.
Just when they were all growing more curious, the sky suddenly started to turn dark. Tracing the trajectory, they all deduced it was forming over Kent’s head.
“Heavenly Tribulation,” Baelgor exclaimed, his expression narrowing.
“It has been 20,000 years since I saw a Heavenly Tribulation. That was when that monster hidden in the Central Region became a Monarch,” Yggzrael added, a part of him wondering just what had happened to his Young Master.
In no time, terrible lightning started to churn in the clouds.
BOOM
Suddenly, seated 400 km away, a suffocating intent exploded out of Kent’s body, sending all four demigod beasts to their knees.
“W-What is that…” Baelgor, who prided himself on having a robust defense, felt his body pressed down by a terrible force.
“This pressure,” Yggzrael muttered, “it is the same thing I felt when the Young Lord attacked me. Only this time, it is much more pronounced and very potent.”
Just when he said that, they saw Kent stand up and stretch. Then he looked up at the sky and smiled. Under their shocked gaze, he reached into his space ring, pulled out grapes, and started tossing them into his mouth.
“What is he doing?” Kryzoth asked, the shocked look on his face showing how scared he was. What Kent was doing did not align with someone who should be preparing for a Heavenly Tribulation.
Judging by the pressure they sensed when the tribulation cloud first formed, he knew it was not something to scoff at.
So why is Kent that relaxed?
Hearing his worry, Yggzrael smiled and forced his body to turn toward Kryzoth. “That is my Young Lord. You had better open your eyes and witness greatness.”
Of course, he was scared for Kent, but he had to show off somehow.
If only they knew Kent was not being arrogant but rather preparing to take a leap of fate toward achieving two objectives at once.
[I have determined the nature of the lightning tribulation, Master. You must endure three deadly attacks using your body.]
[If the Master manages to endure the three lightning attacks, the Dragon Intent will fully awaken.]
[Also, the Master must know that by enduring the three lightning attacks, there is a chance the lightning element will finally awaken.]
“Oh yeah. Bring it on…”
