But while they read into his intention, the mere fact that Kent had already shown no sign of using any defense made them even more stunned.

Looking at him just sitting there, doing nothing, made them wonder if Kent had gone mad.

Kent remained seated, his expression calm, as if he were not in any danger as the tribulation churned.

Gazing up at the spear ready to shoot at him, a smile formed on his face.

Just then, the bolt descended in the form of a spear hurled straight at Kent’s chest. Kent’s body released waves of chaos qi as he reinforced his scales, considering he was now in his demi-dragon form.

He made sure they were only sturdier and more refined.

*BOOM*

When the spear landed on his chest, a powerful explosion of lightning erupted, sending dust flying all over. Kent remained seated in the same place.

However, the 13 rope tendrils of fabric attached to his armor like a cloak billowed in the air.

“Tingles.”

Kent smiled, reading the message that had appeared before him.

“That is a start.” Turning his head up, Kent gazed at the tribulation cloud forming the second attack.

In no time, a large finger formed, crackling with overwhelming lightning. The feeling of dread could be felt from it.

“They are getting serious.” Sensing this, Kent tapped further into his chaos qi and circulated it, allowing its potent nature to shield his scales, making them even more powerful.

Just then, the finger moved, and the ground trembled, sending tremors in all directions. Kent felt his brain vibrate as the terrifying pressure from the Lightning Finger closed in on him.

‘Damn.’

Kent sensed a foreign intent just a second before the attack landed on his body. This time, he was pushed back. However, he only flew back a meter before his body stabilized.

At once, he felt his connection to the Dragon Intent slowly forming. Aside from that, he could sense his Chaos Lightning awakening deep within him.

Because of his understanding of Ice and Fire, he sensed it. Now, even without the last tribulation attack, he would be able to gradually awaken it over time.

“Ouch, the second attack was a bit painful.” Kent looked up, a smile playing on his lips as he gazed at the third tribulation attack forming.
