Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1602 Four vs One (1)

Already, just inside the Tormented Layer, if Kent becomes complacent, he might find himself in hot soup. It is true that he has become extremely powerful.
However, that doesn’t mean he alone can take on all the beasts inside the Tormented Layer. Even now, if over 30 Immortal Lords were to gang up on him, the chances of him getting hurt and even being pushed to a corner are possible.
If that number were upgraded to 30 demigods, which, as it stands, there are indeed over a hundred demigod beasts in the Tormented Layer alone, he cannot underestimate anyone at all.
However, if he were to get the attention of the Chaos Layer, which he already has, there is a chance the next 66 days would be too long for him.
As it stands right now, he isn’t strong enough to contend against gods, much less powerful demigods who are monarchs like him.
So, keeping a low profile until Lady Pandora awakens would be the right thing to do.
However, his [Dragon Intent] awakening has shattered that calm, and now, every beast in the Tormented Layer and even some inside the Chaos Layer have noticed his presence.
But Kent wasn’t about to cower in fear.
Already, he has discovered another way to grow even stronger, and that involves forming a contract with beasts. The more contracts he forms, the stronger he becomes.
So while dangers of all forms and shapes hang over his head, he isn’t scared because if he manages to bring even five more demigods under his command, his soul would reach a new kind of danger.
Now he can tell that Yggzrael has completed the mission he was given.
Looking at the three demigods standing beside Yggzrael, the smile on his face bloomed.
“Welcome, guys. I believe you have already been briefed on the reason why I asked for your presence today.” Witnessing his astonishing feat during the tribulation, they all nodded.
Even now, as they stand before him, they can feel an overwhelming aura that none of them can fathom oozing out from Kent’s body.
Kent had no idea he had such a presence. However, he can feel his power has risen far beyond what someone at his level should have. Not even Chaos had this kind of strength when he was a True Immortal.
Watching them nod, Kent smiled…
“But before we form the contract, how about we duel fight.”
Yggzrael turned and looked at the other three demigods. They both became stunned, a part of them wishing Kent had never requested a duel. They were already fine with becoming his contracted beasts.
“Of course, we will only fight in our demi-human forms, no domains, and it will be me against all four of you at the same time. If you are worried about how heavy my attacks would be, we can sign the contract first, which would guarantee your safety even if I sever your heads from your shoulders.”
One of the abilities Tower has awakened after her upgrade allows everything connected to Kent, and, by extension, they cannot die when they fight each other, both inside and outside the tower.
First, that power was confined to the Legion Tower. But it has now spread to the other towers and even beyond them.
Hearing his words, the three demigods, who had yet to form a contract with Kent, nodded. “We have already recognised your strength, so we will form the contract first.”
Morveth smiled and added, “Better to be safe than sorry.”
Kent laughed. He expected to come across mindless beasts in this place. However, from what he has seen so far, all four of them are intelligent beasts.
This, however, makes them super dangerous. So, forming a contract with them while in plain sight works in favor of the three demigods; he also benefits from it.
He produced three [Grim Contracts] and activated them.
The runes flew and merged with them. A minute later, the contracts were formed, and all four of them felt their bodies grow stronger, Kent especially.
[Morveth has become your Contracted Beast]
[Kryzoth has become your Contracted Beast]
[Baelgor has become your Contracted Beast]
However, their shock soon turned grim when a powerful aura suddenly exploded out of Kryzoth’s body, frost spreading all over the domain already made of ice.
Kent and the others jumped up and flew into the air, watching as Kryzoth’s strength rose from Early Demigod to Mid and soon reached High. Just when it was stabilizing, another wave exploded out of his body, taking him to the Peak Demigod stage.
“This…” Yggzrael and the others were left stunned.
“I knew this bastard had been hiding something from us all this while, but I never expected it to be a second core.”
Baelgor saw through Kryzoth’s disguise. In fact, it was quite obvious, considering he had a blue and red icy aura around him.
“It appears Kryzoth has formed two elemental cores alongside his chaos core.” Kent smiled, his bones aching to have a proper battle with the sleek-looking demigod with wolf ears and deadly claws.
“This feeling…” Kryzoth examined his body, a smile appearing on his face.
“I can sense that it wouldn’t be long now before I become a Divine Beast.” He turned and looked at Kent, then at his buddies, who smiled at him.
“Congratulations, Kryzoth. After we leave this place, I will transfer a technique to you that would aid you in taking advantage of both cores.” Kent said, and Kryzoth nodded.
Kent was happy to have found such remarkable subordinates. With the upgrades that have happened to Tower, he can’t wait to utilize them to build his strength.
“For now, let’s fight.”
Morveth and Baelgor had also become stronger than before. However, they are still Mid Demigods, two ranks below Kryzoth and Yggzrael.
Kent watched as they got ready.
Yggzrael summoned a staff-like spear. One end is made of a staff head with a glowing blue orb inside, and the other side ends in a razor-sharp piercer. A pair of dragon horns protruded from his forehead, and both his hands and legs ended in deadly claws.
Baelgor summoned a giant hammer, his body transforming into a demi-mammoth. His snout and tusks extended from his face as his arms and legs grew bigger and more muscular.
Kryzoth summoned a sword forged from ice, its deadly blades glimmering with deadly intent.
Finally, Morveth summoned a scythe.
The moment Kent’s eyes landed on the scythe, a feeling of dread enveloped him. ‘Hmm, looks like that is a Living Weapon that has yet to awaken.’
Being the owner of two Living Weapons, Kent felt the need not to underestimate Morveth’s weapon.
He smiled and extended his hand, summoning his claws.
When the four demigods saw this, they turned and looked at each other. In their minds, they expected Kent to summon a weapon. However, it appeared he planned on fighting them using just his claws.
“Be careful, guys, I have yet to test my claws in combat.”
The moment he said that, Kent became a blur and shot toward Morveth, his claws ready for an attack. However, just when he struck with his hand, Morveth’s body turned into thousands of crows and flew away.
In his place, a giant hammer came striking at Kent’s chest.
Kent reacted quickly, spinning his body to barely evade the terrifying force of the strike. Kent landed on his right leg and spun around, striking with his left foot.
Yggzrael, who wanted to take advantage of the moment by sneaking up on Kent, found his face moving toward a foot.
However, instead of evading, a smile formed on his face, causing Kent to sense something ominous.
The next second, his leg was stopped right in front of Yggzrael’s face; roots made of crystallized ice burst out of the ground and latched onto him.
