Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster - Chapter 962: Even More Relaxing

<Rael Sutekh: Hey Karina. How’s it been? You old yet?>
For the next couple of minutes, no reply came. Obviously, he didn’t try to use any filters, and because of that, once the reply came, it was pretty damn dry.
<Karina: You’re still alive? I thought you died since you hadn’t messaged me for nearly two decades.>
<Rael Sutekh: Nah. I did disappear, but I’d never die. I’m too handsome to die, or something.>
<Karina: So you’ve become more arrogant. What Grade are you at now? I’ve just reached Grade 7.>
What the…?
Grade 7?
Wasn’t Altros only Grade 2? If she was around, then why was the planet in danger to begin with? Unless she moved on? That seemed like the most likely alternative.
And it seemed like that was really the case, since Rael suddenly had a portal form in front of him.
<Karina: I’ve got some snacks prepared if you want to come over.>
Rael thought it over for a moment, then shrugged. He might as well do that, since he was a little curious about how she was holding up. Though, he did promise Gaia and Nyx that he would relax, so sadly, Rael had to compromise.
<Rael Sutekh: How about you come to me instead? My wives aren’t letting me out.>
<Karina: Pfft… Wives? Well, well, well. If you’re so jolly with your wives, won’t I get killed on sight if I come there?>
Heh.
<Rael Sutekh: Most likely not.>
With that in mind, there was only silence for a few brief moments, when all of a sudden, a silver-haired and emerald-eyed beauty stepped through the portal. She looked much older than last time, but not in the sense of wrinkles or anything.
In fact, she just had a mature gaze to her that made Rael instantly warm up to her.
“Sup,” Rael said.
As for Karina, she rubbed her forehead with a slightly pained expression, then nodded at him.
“Hello. I brought some snacks.”
She pulled out a few bags of chips and then plopped them down onto the seat beside him, and sat down. She kicked her feet up on the nearby seat and relaxed.
“I should’ve invited the others too,” she said with a sigh.
Rael raised a brow. “You mean Asuna and Milf_GattlingGun?”
She hummed. “Yep. Asuna just got married not too long ago. As for the milf, she was just exploring the world with her kid. I haven’t talked to her in ages as well.”
“And you?” Rael asked.
“Me? Well, I stuck around my world for a bit until I got bored. Then I went ahead and switched to another world and became powerful. Now, I’m bored again,” she replied and let out a sigh. “Though it’s hard to believe so many years have passed. The stronger we get, the less we feel the passage of time. Don’t you agree?”
Rael rolled his eyes. “I’m not used to you talking philosophically. Just how old are you now? Three digits?”
She glanced at him as though she wanted to slap the shit out of him. Even though women age and reach thousands, it seems like they still care about their age to some extent. Rael found that a little funny, in all honesty.
Anyhow, the two of them chatted about some mundane things and began feasting on some food while also watching a movie. After a couple dozen minutes went by, more food arrived, and while he wasn’t sure what he was expecting, he most definitely didn’t expect Gaia to bring some vegan food over.
Grass, tomatoes, cucumbers… A lot of other vegetables and even some fruit. On the other hand, Nyx was a lot more providing. She brought a whole pork loin as well as a couple dozen tomahawk steaks. His mouth almost watered from the smell.
Though, things took a little bit of a turn when the women noticed Karina right beside him.
“I wasn’t expecting any guests,” Gaia said, narrowing her eyes at Karina. “You’re the girl from before. You’ve grown a considerable amount. Both in power and in maturity. Welcome.”
As for Nyx, she didn’t have much of a reaction as she put the food down and sat down behind him. As for Gaia, she sat in front of him and began feasting as well.
It was a peaceful day, all things considered. Even reuniting with Karina didn’t seem that bad. However, Rael did feel like there was something he was missing, and that might be the crucial aspect of his son hating his guts.
Honestly… If I want to set things straight and live on, I should probably talk it out with Uriel. Abandoning him and allowing him to just live his life seems unfair… Sure, he’s old enough to do that, but he’s still my kid, even if not biologically.
So at the very least, Rael wanted to be neutral with Uriel. For that reason alone, he spent the next couple of hours relaxing with the others, until finally, all of the movies ended.
Gaia and Nyx began the clean-up, and as for Karina, she sighed and waved at him.
“I feel like I’m going to vomit, so I’ll take my leave. If you ever do stuff like this again, do let me know. I have a lot of time, since my summons take care of everything.”
Rael nodded. “No worries. I’m a lazy bum for the most part, so I’ll keep you posted. See you later, Karina.”
Finally, she gave him one last wave and left through the portal. Once there was no one else in the theater, Rael crossed his legs and focused on Uriel’s presence.
As expected, he was still living in that same world, except this time, Rael noticed a scar across Uriel’s hand. It was definitely not there before, which meant it was a relatively new scar.
Was he getting bullied? Did he have a fight?
Rael pondered it over for a moment, then stood up. Without a single beat of hesitation, he opened a portal straight to Uriel and stepped through.
