Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family - Chapter 1168 Monster abound

Fenix slashed at the monster’s mane, but it did nothing except create a distraction for the Werewolf to be rescued by its tribe.
Things looked dire. Fighters from different walks of life, species, and philosophy fought against the Monsters, but its sheer power and speed simply overwhelmed everyone together.
Jaku looked at the Monster in front of him and knew that there was only one way they were going to get out of this alive.
He looked at an empty space in the air.
Hidden inside reality was a small drone, watching everything from afar. Michael had gone away with one specific instruction: save the Colosseum.
And he was going to do just that. This time, he didn’t feel lazy at all. This time, it was a matter of life and death. It was an order from his Lord.
For the first time in his life, he took a breath and focused on his body. On the GodForge pieces in his heart.
He knew, deep down, that there was a power hidden inside him that was just waiting to burst out. It was the kind of power that created that shockwave back in the Werewolf’s swordsman tournament.
He hadn’t produced it again ever since. Others forced him to practice and train. But he knew that it would never work. He was a man of spontaneity. He had a feeling that this power was just like him. Lazy until he can’t be.
And so, for the first time, he reached down into that power. That… voice that seemed to be his own, yet different altogether.
“Hold… Reborn does not permit you to sow chaos…”
His words sent a reverberation throughout the entire Colosseum, making everything and everyone pause for a second.
This voice resonated with something in their hearts. They didn’t know what, but it seemed to have touched upon something ancient within them.
The Maugnetics and Beastfolks, who had their own Aubility Power within them, felt their own powers suddenly flutter and fluctuate.
Their eyes widened. They’d never felt this kind of disturbance before.
And it seemed that it was the same way for the Monsters too.
The strange, echoing voice coming from Jaku reached the Monsters, making them wince away from him. It created an incessant ringing in their mind, blocking out any kind of feral thoughts inside them.
GRAOOO!
They roared in anger, all turning towards Jaku at the very top of the Colosseum, all alone, without anyone there to help him.
They didn’t know why they felt this intense hatred for the demi-human. But they felt their instincts warn them of a terrible future for them if this dragonborn were left alive.
Once again, the Monsters turned into a black bur.
The inhabitants of the Colosseum felt a brief moment of relief as the Monsters turned away from them, followed by guilt, and then worry.
Guilt that they felt happy to watch the demi-human be the target of their hunger instead of them, and worry knowing that it wouldn’t end with his death.
“Sir Jaku!” Fenix warned, sending a flying fiery eagle towards the Monsters. They ignored it. The fire bounced off one of the monster’s fur, barely singeing the ends. Even Arthur felt worry. If he were to face those four, he knew his death would be certain. But what could he do? He was at the other end of the Colosseum, and the Monsters were far too fast to catch up to.
Jaku welcomed the Monsters, a bit of smile curving on his mouth.
He was thankful they served themselves up in a platter.
He raised his hand.
“Stop.”
His command reverberated through the fabric of reality, reaching the monsters in an instant.
And they stopped. Frozen mid run. Two of their paws on the ground, the other in the air. It was as if someone had taken a picture of a cheetah-mid hunt.
Except, this wasn’t a picture. And the monsters’ weren’t frozen in time. Instead, their bodies were stopped, momentum completely gone.
Their eyes were widening with surprise, shock, and fear. They felt all their power leave their body. They couldn’t use that black blur they used to traverse distances in a flash.
It was as if their legs were cut off. They couldn’t move.
“WHAT?!”
“The monsters! They stopped!”
“Has something happened!?”
The mortals were confused, but happy. This strange affliction that affected the Monsters were a glimmer of hope that they clung on to.
Maybe these monsters were malfunctioning. A sudden heart attack killing their lives.
But for the Maugnetics and the Beastfolks, they could only look up at the top of the Colosseum in shock, awe, and fear.
Their gazes weren’t directed towards the monsters. No. They were staring at the person beyond them. The person who had caused these monsters to cease their movements completely.
After all, they too felt that their powers ceased. Their Aubility Powers were inaccessible to them. They couldn’t draw from their own hearts, as if it had been locked away in some vault.
There were only a handful of people in the Colosseum who knew what was happening.
They had only read about this in the books of old.
This was the Ancient Roar.
Arthur stared at the demi-human above, completely aghast. That was the Ancient Roar. His body tried to resist against the voice, but it still pervaded in his system.
Arthur tried to move, but he couldn’t. That was because as a veteran warrior, he had grown accustomed to using his Aubility Power to boost his speed and movement.
But when he tried that, his body could not move.
It was only when he used his own, mortal muscles did he finally feel free from that petrifying voice.
“No… no way…,” he muttered. “He controls speed…”
The Monsters were not as perceptive as Arthur. Their bodies remained in a stagnant position as they knew now to undo the powers that boosted their bodies.
So, they were left defenseless.
Jaku raised his katana, blue lightning coursing through its grey blade. Then, he disappeared.
