Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family - Chapter 1167 Monster unleashed

A Dragonborn, one with dark blue scales, walked up the stairs of the Colosseum. His face was irritated. And his eyes looked red, as if he had just awoken from a nap.
The Monstrous Beast turned around, regarding the newcomer with a bit of scoff. It was also irritated, having been interrupted from its feeding frenzy.
“Yo pig!” Jaku called out.
Arthur looked up, bits of stone crashing around him. And there, he saw Jaku standing proudly against the monster. “The demi-human?”
Even the other spectators mirrored his thoughts. Now, Jaku has done pretty well in the exhibition tournament. Reached the top 4, even. However, they had not found him remarkable, at least, compared to Arthur Lionheart.
And they all saw what happened when Arthur fought the monster.
So, what could this demi-human do? Many still screamed for their lives, scrambling to get away from the monster. Some, to the point of pushing their own neighbors in the line of the monster’s maws.
Arthur winced as he forced himself up. He was the only one who could defeat this monster.
He brushed off powdered stone from his sword, before jumping up at the monster.
It regarded Arthur with a bit more worry. It turned around, growled, and jumped down to meet the Knight.
Arthur swung his sword at the monster’s leg, trying to injure it. But in a flash, the monster’s paws met his body instead.
The Knight raised his hand at the very last moment, allowing him to use his sword as a shield. It didn’t do much to lessen the force. He was blasted on the other side of the Colosseum.
“Woah! You’re one fast cat,” Jaku said. “I’d find you more pettable if you didn’t want to eat humans.”
Once dispatching the Knight, the Monstrous Beast turned to the crowd, which had now dispersed away from where it once was.
Only Jaku remained there, katana now on his shoulders.
It angrily patted the cobblestone floors, creating deep gashes. Then, it leapt at the demi-human, jaws open to eat this annoying pest whole.
Blue lightning crackled. The Monstrous Beast found its target suddenly disappeared in a flash, and was now about to crash on the arched openings.
It was supposed to fall through the hole, except, an invisible boundary bounced it back.
Violet, viscous blood splashed onto the boundary. The Monstrous Beast found itself shaking its head, both from pain and confusion.
Where did its prey go?
GRAOOO!
It let out its anger in a loud, booming bellow. It briefly silenced the screams from the Colosseum.
Then, with its black, soulless eyes, it scanned the entire place. It searched for a demi-human. It didn’t see Jaku. So instead, it focused on the helpless humans and Beastfolk trying to find a way out of this trapped hellhole.
It leapt towards the crowd. It only had to open its mouth to find its food. The crowd was vulnerable. People found themselves in a stampede. Feet, crushing bodies.
Just then, blue lightning flashed, and the Monster found itself unable to close its maws.
It looked down, only to see the dark blue-scaled demi-human holding up its katana. The helpless mortals that should have died all gasped out in shock. They were saved!
Even Arthur was shocked. He’d never expected the demi-human to be that fast!
Jaku grimaced as his katana clashed against the monster’s fangs.
Realizing it was about to slip, Jaku turned into lightning and simply moved him and the injured mortals out of harm’s way.
“Damn, you’re strong.”
Jaku was faster than the Monster. No doubt about it. But it was stronger.
He was only in the 7th stage of the Body Formation realm. His opponent was beyond even the 9th stage. In a pure battle of power, he knew that he wouldn’t win.
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t outmaneuver the monster.
Jaku was overflowing with lightning. His irritation for being denied his sleep fueled his Aubility Power.
“Time for a chocolate break,” he said before taking out a single scoop of ice cream from his inventory.
And just as he was about to consume it, screams once again echoed out from the crowd.
Everyone turned around, only to see three more Beasts in the arena, looking up at the sumptuous feast it was about to partake in.
The Monsters lunged at the crowd, parting it like a wave.
Then finally, more fighters emerged. Beastfolks. These were the personal guards of the royalties who had come to watch the Exhibition Tournament.
Humans ran on all fours, before their transformation into wolves revealed them to be Werewolves.
They surrounded the Beasts. Growling at them. Then, they leapt altogether, swarming the Beast.
Horrifyingly, the Werewolves looked like dogs in front of the Monsters, and they like trucks.
Their fangs tried to bite at the monster’s body. Their strongest weapons only pierced through fur. Despite being ravaged by tens of Werewolves, the monster remained unharmed.
Water splashed onto the Beast, making it flinch a little.
It came from a group of Mermen, who had used their power to create a spear to pierce through the monster’s tough hide. It did nothing but make its fur wet.
One of the Monsters turned its attention to the Mermen, who looked helpless. Their powers were weakened tremendously without a natural source of water.
The Monster tried to leap at the Mermen, but found its limbs tied to the ground by dark shadows. The Vampires. But a little thrash from the monster unfettered it from the Vampires’ clutches.
Even the Elves’ arrows were of no use. It bounced off its fur.
The Beastfolk, the wizards, and the Knights would have probably stood a chance—if they knew how to work together.
As it stood, the Monster’s pure strength and speed ravaged at them individually, weakening their forces bit by bit. And there were four of them.
The monsters flashed like a blur. A black, unidentified gust of wind. And before they knew it, the monsters had already pounced upon them.
A screeching whimper resounded through the colosseum as a monster stomped its feet at a Werewolf. Blood splattered, with the Beastfolk vomiting out blood.
Now, the monster opened its maws, ready to finish the job.
