Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family - Chapter 1169 Vibing

Jaku turned into pure lightning, the air itself seemingly frozen around him. He could see individual gusts of wind, struggling to keep up with him.
He looked at the Monstrous Beasts. They remained in their places, their eyes still in the process of trying to understand what was happening to them. They never would have the chance to.
With his katana in tow, he slashed at the first Beast. Directly in its neck. At the jugular.
With the power of the Chocolate Ice Cream empowering his Maugnetic power, the blade of his sword cut through the beast’s thick hide.
Blood splattered onto the beast’s fur, and it seemed that this pain finally allowed the Monster to come to terms with its situation.
It shook its head, blood still gushing out of its only injury. Then, it roared. Its voice reached the three other Monsters. A signal. An alarm that seemed to wake up the monsters from their stupor.
They slowly shook off their stagger, like bears just coming out of their hibernation.
Blue lightning flashed, before the three other monsters felt their necks cut, letting violet, sickly blood gushing out of their bodies.
GRAOOO!
It was at this point that the other fighters in the Colosseum noticed the difference. The Beasts. They no longer moved as fast as lightning. In fact, they slugged about with the speed of ordinary animals.
The four monsters tried to swipe at the annoying blue lightning, but Jaku quickly zipped past them like a firefly.
Their thick, muscular bodies still emanated powerful strength, with each of their swipes sending earthquake-like tremors through the Colosseum. But they no longer had that insane, black blur speed.
An arrow blurred, before burying itself onto the Monster’s neck, perfectly lodging itself on the cut Jaku had made.
The Monster staggered back, choking on its own blood.
Then, it leaned on the walls of the Colosseum. Until finally, it slumped, dead. Its violet blood cascaded down onto the stairs.
The other three Monsters roared in defiance. They’d never felt this before. They were the one being hunted.
“Hey! Not fair!” Jaku screamed out down below.
Arthur turned to look at the one who killed the Monster. And down there, glistening with her white-scales, was Sheina, the infamous demi-human archer who had caused a storm with her appearance.
She had her Compound Bow stretched taut, ready to kill the other three Monsters.
“Why are you dallying around?” Sheina asked, shrugging. “If you wanted to kill them, then you should have killed them.”
Jaku clicked his tongue. “I was getting around to it.”
Then, with a flash of blue lightning, he disappeared and rode onto one of the Monster’s backs. It flailed around, raising its forelegs trying to swat at him behind.
Jaku looked like a cowboy trying to tame a bull.
Except, Jaku wasn’t trying to tame this Monster. He let the blade’s edge lie onto the creature’s neck, holding it from behind.
Then, his arm started to blur. Turning into lightning.
His katana buzzed, turning almost incorporeal.
Its edge easily cleaved through the Monster’s tough hide like butter.
Arthur’s eyes furrowed, before it widened in surprise as he realized what had happened. Jaku’s katana had vibrated at an incredible speed that it somehow created an ever more powerful edge that cut through the Monster’s tough hide.
This shocked the Knight to no end. The Monsters’s bodies were stronger than the 9th stage Body Formation realm. Yet, Jaku’s blade cut through it like it was nothing.
With its pack killed in quick succession, the two other Monsters panicked and turned to run the other way. Towards the crowd.
Screams and guttural shouts echoed out of the Colosseum, as they felt the Monster’s footsteps send tremors through the Colosseum.
But their worries were unfounded.
The Monster reached the edge of the crowd, before it stopped. A single violet line appeared on its neck. Then, its head slid down in front of the crowd, blood pooling onto some of the mortals’ shoes.
This kind of gory scene would have sent most mortals screaming in horror.
But instead, cheers came out of their mouths. This was a crowd who had come to the Colosseum to see exactly this kind of show. They weren’t squeamish, to say the least. Especially since their lives were saved in the process.
Now, there was just one Monster left. It backed into a corner. It regarded Jaku on one side, and the unknown archer on the bottom.
It had no way out.
As its last attempt, it tried to jump out of the Colosseum’s roof arches.
Except, it found itself headbutting an invisible boundary. Its lion head slid off its body before it could groan in pain.
Jaku swung his katana, violet blood splashing away from his blade. Then, he sighed, finally finding the time to sleep.
He walked down the steps of the Colosseum. It was wet with violet blood. Jaku took care not to step in it. He was too lazy to wash it off.
His eyes turned to the exit, where he could have his much-earned sleep.
But just then, he heard a rumbling. It wasn’t another Monster. Instead, it came from the crowd of mortals rushing towards him with ardent fervor in their eyes.
Screams. No, cheers.
“Woah! Woah!” Jaku said, dodging the crowd like a plague. He turned into lightning.
He didn’t understand why they were so happy.
“HERO!”
“Demi-human, savior of the Colosseum!”
“You were amazing! You cut those unruly monsters like nothing!”
Everywhere, praise was lauded towards Jaku’s performance.
It was entirely earned. Arthur, the winner of the exhibition tournament, couldn’t even draw a single blood from the Monsters. People thought they were going to die.
Yet, this demi-human had defied the odds and killed the Monsters.
“You’re even better than the Knights!” one of the children said to Jaku.
Arthur didn’t take offense to that. He remained at the bottom of the Colosseum, looking up as the crowd swarmed towards their savior.
He looked down at his sword. Powerless.
And in his mind, there was one thing for certain. If he had fought against Jaku in the tournament, he would have lost.
