Chapter 1996: Yggdra’s Evolution
—–
I checked the new Dungeon Stats and found them surprisingly unique. I didn’t fully understand what they could do yet.
—–
{Spiritual Vitality}: The Dungeon’s overall vitality drawn from all Spiritual Power within. Spiritual Power is the blood of a Dungeon. The higher this stat, the richer the Dungeon becomes, the more resources it can produce, and the greater its livelihood and beauty expand. Decreasing this stat could ultimately dry the Dungeon out and cause it to die.
{Divine Power}: The Dungeon’s Divine Power, the strength of its growing Divinity fueled by each Dungeon Core, lifeforce, and floor it gains. The more Divine Power it accumulates, the stronger its Divine-related Abilities become. The Divine Realm Floor grows richer and more potent with this stat, as do all divine beings born from it.
{Spacetime Movement}: The Dungeon’s ability to move through space. The higher this stat, the faster the Dungeon can relocate itself, reposition anywhere, or travel across spacetime. Greater values also allow the Dungeon to grow larger, place itself more easily in any location, and open gates with greater freedom.
{Spacetime Expansion}: The Dungeon’s power of internal expansion. The higher this stat, the more its floors can grow within its self-contained pocket dimension. Higher values make the Dungeon vaster, more beautiful, and more expansive. Each floor becomes larger, with increased capacity to support lifeforms and resources.
{Lifeforce Crystallization}: The Dungeon’s ability to crystallize lifeforce and create life from within. The higher this stat becomes, the more abundant and varied the living beings it generates. It also accelerates how quickly life multiplies and evolves, growing stronger and more valuable to the Dungeon’s internal ecosystem. Every creature inside contributes to that ecosystem, providing the Dungeon with precious energy and nutrients.

Wow, this was really interesting! I never imagined a Dungeon could have stats like these, but here we are. The only thing left now is to see it finally awaken an Avatar… maybe if I name it.
For the moment, I needed to focus on Yggdra’s evolution.
Unlike Scarlet or Sapphire, no Alchemy was required. Yggdra had already begun evolving as she constantly drained my Mana, absorbing the vast elemental and spiritual forces of the Dungeon along with the leftover materials.
“I shall now commence.”
She closed her eyes and glowed brightly. The skies darkened abruptly as thunderbolts crashed down from nowhere. The ground trembled and split open. Giant roots surged across the land while Yggdra’s form continued to expand, materializing yet remaining partly spiritual at the same time.
Inside Cloudia, I had left a Dungeon Gate. Through one of my Yggdragon Aura Dragon Spirits sent to investigate, I watched everything unfold. Through the creature’s eyes, I beheld her immense true body and the forest growing larger, every root and branch fusing into something… truly colossal.
No—titanic.
The entire world seemed to tremble. The skies darkened for some unknown reason, thunder roared, the ground surged and shook. Spiritual energy and divinity across the planet surged toward her in waves.
Yggdra was drawing on the whole world to fuel her evolution!
“This is incredible… Yggdra!”
As I gasped in disbelief, I felt the changes ripple through me too. My connection with her strengthened—reborn, renewed, reforged, and elevated even further.
Divine power poured from her into me, and I shared mine in return.
The five Dungeon Cores embedded within her shone brilliantly, fusing deeper into her very being. She overflowed with staggering quantities of power until blinding white light flooded the entire Dungeon and everything went blank…
And due to the sheer volume of divine power overwhelming me… I passed out.
.
.
.
“Eh?”
When I came to, the world around me had completely transformed. I slowly stood up and realized I was no longer in the endless grasslands of the First Floor. Instead, I stood in a vast, roaring jungle, enormous beyond imagination.
Towering trees stretched toward the sky. Vines draped the canopy. Thick grass and giant-leafed plants covered the ground. Massive flowers bloomed everywhere. And creatures moved through it all.
Dinosaur-like beings wandered past, glancing at me briefly before continuing on their way. Giant apes roamed nearby, chatting and feasting on juicy fruit.
Monkeys leaped through the treetops. Birds of every dazzling color sang in an endless, joyful cacophony that filled the air with constant life.
“Wow…”
I walked to a wide river, then a shimmering lake. As I kept going, I realized just how immense the First Floor had become.
Before, it had been roughly the size of the elven capital. Now it stretched so far there was no visible horizon. The world no longer ended in an illusion.
It curved. There was no wall anymore.
The First Floor now had a proper atmospheric sky, and even a real sun!
At the center of it all rose a massive, titanic tree unlike anything I had ever seen, piercing the atmosphere itself.
Its branches spread so wide and vast they cast enormous shadows across the floor, no, this was no longer just a floor. It had become a planet. A world.
Because it had served as the ground for Yggdra’s evolution, the First Floor had evolved alongside her into a small planet!
Wait—I recognized this.
It had happened before with Armageddon.
“This is a freaking Divine Realm!”
The enormous, beautiful divine spiritual beasts, whales and colorful fish, swimming through the cloud sea above already confirmed the staggering scale of the transformation.
But it also filled me with a touch of unease.
“Um, everyone?! Dang it, we got lost! What do I do— Ah, right, I’m the Dungeon Master.”
“Sylphy!” Alice appeared at my side. “Did you pass out? We’ve been looking for you! Look—the entire First Floor…”
“I know. It became Yggdra’s Divine Realm, right?” I asked.
“Yes! She just told me this is a Divine Spiritual Realm, similar to Armageddon’s!” Alice exclaimed. “T-This is insane! To think you once raised Yggdra when she was only a small seed from an Eden Apple tree… and now look at her!”
“Oh yeah!” I nodded. “That makes some sense, I guess… but this is still ridiculous. Wait—where are the Arboren? And my friends?”
“The Arboren City is right below her new body,” Alice explained. “Surrounded by her roots. It’s overflowing with spiritual energy everywhere!”
“I see!” I nodded. “Okay, let’s go see— Wait, and my friends?”
“They’re scattered across the floor, I think… but there’s an easy way to gather them,” she said. “Use your Authority as Dungeon Master and teleport them to you. It shouldn’t be complicated.”
“I was wondering if I could do that. Let’s try.”
I closed my eyes and extended my Aura and Consciousness across the Dungeon.
FLASH!
Suddenly my vision expanded above the entirety of Floor 1. I could see it had become a small planetoid roughly the size of the moon.
There were not one but two continents. The largest was the one we stood on—it had taken everything from the old First Floor and expanded it dramatically.
The second continent… from this vantage I could only see it from afar, but it appeared colder, closer to the north pole. Half of it looked like tundra with snow-covered mountains and pine forests.
Below lay geysers, lakes, rivers, and dense cold woodlands shrouded in mist and swamplands. The seas shone vibrant blue, and more than a dozen islands—small to large—had formed, already teeming with vegetation and new life.
