Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2139: Waiting for you

Chapter 2139: Waiting for you
This was a voice that had left a deep impression on me, so it was impossible for me not to recognize this voice.
It was just that I didn’t expect this one to appear so soon…
Well, since I had already dealt with Famine and Pestilence, it only made sense that the next one to come was…
“I was waiting for you to all gather here. Now, it’s time to show you the true meaning of war.”
War.
The third of the Four Omens…
I already knew that it would be one of the two remaining Four Omens, but there was a part of me that couldn’t help feeling a bit relieved. After all, it was the third of the Four Omens and it wasn’t the leader.
If it was Death, then I really wasn’t certain if we would be able to do anything.
I had already felt how powerful Death was and I knew that we wouldn’t be able to face Death as we currently were.
But if it was War, then perhaps we stood a chance…
Though from the aura that War was releasing, I wasn’t so certain of that.
Other than that, it also felt like the aura that War was releasing was slowly becoming stronger and stronger. It was as if the longer that War was here, the stronger that it would become.
Sensing this, I knew that I couldn’t wait any longer.
Before it could become too strong, I had to do something to stop it.
“Go.”
I didn’t even have to say this out loud for Lupus to follow this order, just a single thought was enough to transmit this order to her.
“Now, shall I…” As War was still speaking, there was a sword that suddenly fell down towards it.
War wasn’t so weak that it wouldn’t be able to react to a simple sneak attack like this.
“Ha, ha, ha, isn’t this a bit too crude?” It even had the time to mock me for this attack, but I didn’t bother answering. After all, it wasn’t as if this sword alone was the only thing that made up the sneak attack.
There were countless swords that appeared all around War, but none of them stabbed at War like the first one did. Instead, all of them just floated there around War as if they were waiting for something.
War slowly stopped laughing and looked at these swords floating around it.
Though War had a human figure, it wasn’t as if we could see its face because of the corruption energy that was blocking everything about it. However, it was clear from the way that it was facing that it was observing the swords that had appeared around it.
Not only that, it seemed like it recognized these swords.
“So it seems like you’ve been busy during this time.” In the end, War chose to speak in an amused voice that immediately made me knit my brows.
The fact that War’s tone was still this casual meant that it didn’t feel threatened by what I had shown it. At the same time, it meant that War most likely had something that it could use to counter this.
That really would be the worst case scenario.
No, even before that, I could feel that aura that War released getting stronger.
“Even faster.” I said to Lupus in our connection.
Though it would mean less accuracy, there really was no choice with how strong War was becoming.
If we didn’t have this speed, then it would only be a matter of time before we were taken out.
It was a good thing that we didn’t use our full speed earlier just to test War first.
Once we reached that speed, I waved my hand in different directions.
In response to this, there were swords in the formation that suddenly started to move. However, none of those swords actually moved towards War and instead seemed to just switch places with other swords.
From the perspective of an outsider, they had no idea what was happening.
That was until a sword suddenly appeared right in front of War and stabbed right into its body. This sword seemed to have appeared out of thin air with how it suddenly appeared.
This was the kind of instant attack that really was hard to guard against.
However, it didn’t seem like it had any effect on War.
Even though it stabbed right into War’s chest, it was shattered before it could do any damage to War.
Only this was just the first of many.
It wasn’t as if this sword was the only sword that appeared, there were many others that appeared and stabbed into War at the same time. That sword had just been the first test to see if it would work against War.
After stabbing into War like this, it seemed like none of these swords really did anything to it. Right after stabbing into War, all of the swords that suddenly appeared were shattered apart.
It seemed that no matter how many swords appeared, they just wouldn’t have an effect on War.
But I didn’t stop as I continued attacking like this.
I knew that even if it didn’t seem like it was having an effect, all of the damage would be slowly building up in War’s body. It wasn’t as if this damage would be completely dispelled by whatever War was using to defend against it.
It was just that this was a very slow process.
From the reaction that War gave to being attacked by these swords, it really didn’t seem like there was much damage that was being dealt.
If I didn’t go faster, then it might really be dangerous.
After all, it wasn’t as if War was going to continue standing there and take these attacks from me.
“Do all that you can and then fall into despair.”
I couldn’t help feeling a tremble go down my spine when I heard this, but I didn’t stop attacking War with my domain.
It was just that it really didn’t seem to have an effect on it.
