Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2140: Showing the difference

Chapter 2140: Showing the difference
“Crack.”
There was finally a chip that appeared in War’s armour after all the attacks that I unleashed.
But I couldn’t feel any happiness about this since it had taken a long time and many attacks for this to happen.
During this time, War had stood there and taken all of the attacks that I had thrown at it. So it wasn’t as if this was a fight, it was more like I was being pitied by War with how it was acting.
However, this chip did mean that it was working.
As long as there was enough time, we would be able to wear down War and break through its defenses.
At the same time, it seemed like there was a place to attack now that I had created a chip in War’s defenses.
Only now it seemed like it was no longer about to stay still.
“I think this is enough to show you the difference between us. Now, it’s time to show you the true power of one of the Four Omens.”
As soon as War said this, it suddenly raised its hand to condense a sword made of corruption energy.
This sword looked normal, but the pressure that it gave off was much greater than anything that had been released by War previously. It seemed like this was the condensation of the power that War possessed.
At the same time, it felt like this pressure was getting stronger as time passed.
It was just like how War’s power continued to grow the more that it remained in this place.
Taking a deep breath, I continued my attack.
Only this time, I didn’t do the same thing as before where I attacked War from all directions. This time, all of my attacks were aimed at a certain spot on War’s body.
“Nothing more than bug bites.” War said without even blocking that spot.
It seemed that War was full of confidence that it would be able to block anything that I threw at it. Even though I was aiming at the spot that had already chipped on its armour, it didn’t seem worried at all that it would be hurt.
After condensing that sword, War suddenly released a single slash.
With just this simple slash, there was this wave of corruption energy that was released that was much stronger than anything that I had faced before.
If it wasn’t for the fact that it was slow, then I really wouldn’t have been able to dodge it with how big it was.
But the problem was…
“Sh*t, it’s heading for the city…”
Just because it missed me didn’t mean that this wave of corruption energy completely disappeared. It went right past me and was headed right for the barrier that was around the city.
As expected, there was nothing that the barrier could do as it was shattered by this wave of corruption energy. However, it didn’t seem like this wave of corruption energy was able to cause any damage in the end as there were several attacks that came from the city.
It seemed like the relic users came forward to stop it.
But looking at it, I could see that they were all using their full power attacks to block this single attack from War.
It only took War alone to match all of the relic users that we had gathered.
That was just the power that came from a simple swing, there was no doubt that War would have much more power gathered within the sword that it gathered.
“Away from the city.”
Lupus already knew this with the way that she was moving, but this certainly wasn’t an easy thing to do. To completely cut off a direction that they could run in when there was already limited space definitely wasn’t easy to deal with.
But there was no other choice.
The only thing that Lupus could do was raise the speed even more, which was something that I agreed with.
It would make my attacks less accurate, but it didn’t matter at this point.
After all, the spot on the armour was getting bigger and bigger and it seemed like I was about to break through. There was no need for me to be as accurate as I was before, just near accuracy was enough to hit that spot.
The problem was if War decided to keep attacking the city.
If it did choose to do this, it wasn’t as if there was anything that we would be able to do.
The power behind each of those strikes was not something to scoff at, so it would be hard for us to block those attacks. Even now, I was worried about Arthur who had to take the brunt of that attack with his barrier.
But this wasn’t the time to be checking on him.
It was a good thing that War didn’t seem to care about the city.
The only thing that War seemed to care about was me as it kept trying to follow me with its eyes. It seemed like I would be the only one that it would attack and as long as we weren’t in front of the city, the attacks wouldn’t be aimed at the city.
“This isn’t right.”
No matter how I thought about it, this really didn’t seem like it was the best course of action for War to do something like this. There was no doubt in my mind that it was only messing with me by continuing to attack like this.
Once War lost interest in this and turned its attention back to the city, then it would all be over.
So before that could happen, I had to do something to take down War.
“If I gather everything and harden it as much as possible…”
That was the only hope that I had, so that was the choice that I made.
“Charge.”
With that one order, Lupus started charging at War.
To my surprise, War actually lowered the sword as if it wasn’t bothered by this decision.
“Since you’re giving me the chance…”
