Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2141: Second form

Chapter 2141: Second form
At that moment, I gathered all the divine energy that I could for a single strike at the exposed part of War’s armour.
All of this condensed in a single sword that stabbed right at War, but it really wasn’t just a single sword. It was many different swords that had condensed into a single sword, gathering all of that power together.
This was the strongest possible strike that I could do right now.
But it wasn’t as if I was doing this alone.
Along with the divine energy that I put into creating the sword, Lupus also helped by providing her divine energy in the form of wind. It created a cyclone in front of the sword that helped its penetrating power.
War didn’t seem worried at all even though this was a strike that condensed all this power.
The moment that the sword made contact with War, it was actually picked up off its feet.
The force behind this attack was strong enough that it completely lifted War off the ground and carried it away from this place. But that wasn’t the most important thing since it wasn’t as if this force would hurt it.
“Penetrate.”
I wasn’t the only one that was hoping for this to happen.
Everyone that was watching was just waiting to see the sword penetrate through War’s defenses. If it didn’t, then that would be the end…
But while War was flying, it seemed like there was some kind of smoke that appeared. It seemed like this smoke was coming from the area where the sword had penetrated War’s body.
Whether that smoke was a good sign or a bad sign…
It was just that no one was able to see War anymore as it flew off into the distance.
“Run.” I said to Lupus immediately when I saw the smoke appear.
It wasn’t that I was telling Lupus to run in the opposite direction, I was telling her to run in the direction that War had gone flying in.
Even if we couldn’t see War because of the smoke, we had to at least follow to see the results. If it meant that we weren’t able to take War down with that one attack, then we would have to release a second attack.
It didn’t matter how many attacks it took as long as we were able to take War down.
Only it seemed like we really couldn’t find War at all.
The smoke completely covered the area and it felt like we were about to get lost ourselves.
“Stop.”
In the end, I had no choice but to give this order to Lupus before we went too deep into the smoke. After all, there was no telling what would be lurking deep inside of this smoke and there was no telling how dangerous it would be.
“They’re not attacking at all.” I couldn’t help muttering under my breath as I watched all of the corruption energy monsters standing there.
The way that they stood there was as if they weren’t bothered at all that we had just attacked their leader.
However, it was clear that the only reason that they weren’t doing anything was because someone had given them the order not to move. That someone could only be War since it was only War that had this kind of authority in this place.
It took a while for the smoke to clear, but the figure that was revealed no longer looked human.
It was War and it seemed like our attack hadn’t been effective enough to take it down.
There was a hole where the sword had hit War, but there was also something that was slowly making its way to the hole that the sword had left. It looked like some kind of webbing, but it was also the same colour as the corruption energy.
What it looked like was the corruption energy trying to repair War’s body.
Only that wasn’t the biggest concern right now.
Other than this webbing that was trying to fill the hole, there were other changes that were happening with War. It was the corruption energy that was spreading out around war, taking different forms as they transformed into other things.
“It’s trying to take a second form?” That was the first thought that came to mind seeing this before I gave Lupus the order to charge.
In the end, we didn’t get close to War.
All of a sudden, there were spikes that came out of the ground.
However there weren’t normal spikes, these were swords that were formed from corruption energy that just came out of the ground. It was as if they had been buried there beforehand, but that was impossible since it wasn’t as if War could have predicted where we would have been fighting.
The speed at which War created these swords was something else.
We had no choice but to watch as War’s figure started to transform.
Seeing this, others had also figured out that this was a second form that War was transforming into and they wanted to stop it.
Only none of the long range attacks that they used could even come close to war.
When the attacks flew by overhead, the swords that were in the ground suddenly came out of the ground to intercept it. The way that they did this was as if they were some kind of anti air missile.
War was fully prepared for any kind of interference, which was why it had created this field of swords.
There was nothing that any of us could do as we watched the corruption energy that made up War’s body continue to shift. It was wrapping around War’s body while also moving away from it to form some kind of armament for War.
There was even a bit of the corruption energy that went under War that formed some kind of mount.
After watching for a while, War finally took its second form.
“Now play time is over.”
