Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2144: Thrown away

Chapter 2144: Thrown away
“Where is this place?”
I asked this to Joan and Lupus who were with me, but both of them shook their heads.
I didn’t even need to ask to know that they were both confused by what had happened just now.
After all, one moment we were fighting War and the next we were thrown into this random place that we had no idea about.
We didn’t even know if we were in the same world as before…
The last thing that I remembered was that War had tried to reach out and grab us as we were being pulled towards the distortion. With the way that War grabbed at us, it really seemed like it was doing all that it could to keep us there.
But in the end, the power of the distortion was too strong and we were pulled in.
“Does this mean that we were thrown into a completely different world?”
As someone who had traveled from another world before, this was something that I thought was possible.
However, it seemed like it was too early to come to that conclusion.
I had no idea where we were, but it seemed like we were inside some kind of structure. At the same time, I could tell that the structure seemed to be made of stone, so it wasn’t as if we were in some kind of high tech world.
Just based on this, it could be said that we were thrown to a different place in the same world.
Until I got more information, it really was hard to decide where we were.
“Can you give us some light?”
Joan nodded before letting out some flames.
With the Storage Ring that I had, it was easy for me to pull out some torches that we placed all over this area. Though it certainly was surprising that the distortion in space didn’t mess with the subspace inside of the Storage Ring.
With the light of the torches, we were able to make out the details of our surroundings. However, it wasn’t as if the torches were that strong and the space that we were in seemed quite large.
Looking carefully, it seemed like this was a large space that was underground since there was no sun at all.
In an unknown place like this, there were all kinds of danger hiding around us.
So that was why I put out half of the torches in the end.
We just needed enough torches to see the surrounding area, even if it did give us away to a certain extent. Though it was certainly better than completely giving us away with a bunch of torches.
As we were moving along, I also made sure to drop a few torches behind us.
It was both to make sure that we had a path to follow and to light up where we had been before so we could see danger coming.
It was only one out of four directions, but it was better than nothing.
With these torches, we started making our way away from the wall that we had been close to. Though it really didn’t seem like there was anything that was in front of us other than darkness and the small area that we could see.
“Are we ever going to find our way out of here?” A part of me really was worried about being lost in this darkness, but there really wasn’t anything that could be done.
“There is one way…” Another part of me couldn’t help being tempted, but I shook this idea out of my mind since I knew that it would be too dangerous.
Who knew what kind of danger would be attracted if I had Joan do something like that.
It wasn’t something that I could even consider when we had no idea how much trouble we were in right now. That was the kind of thing that could only be done in an emergency situation and we weren’t in that kind of situation yet.
“No, there’s no need to worry.”
I could see from the way that Joan looked at me that she was thinking the same.
After walking for a bit, we finally reached something.
“Is this a house?”
It was some kind of building, that was the one thing that we were sure of. It was just that just from this single wall, it really was hard to tell what kind of building this was.
But it was also dangerous since we had no idea what was waiting for us inside of the building.
“Form up around me and prepare for a fight if necessary, but we’ll try to run first since we have no idea what’s inside.”
Both Lupus and Joan nodded in agreement to this.
It didn’t take us long to find the door since we just had to follow a wall.
Once we found the door, we found that this place was just a normal residence.
Though the furniture had long decayed, this place was without a doubt a normal residence.
It didn’t seem like there were any clues as to where we were at first, but then I found something among the rubble in this building. It was hidden, but I was able to find it with my sharp eyes.
“Isn’t this…a statue of Solista?”
I had seen this statue so many times when I visited the Holy Empire that I was almost sick of seeing it.
But for a statue of Solista to be here, it did at least confirm one thing.
“So we’re still in the same world and on the same continent.”
There was a part of me that was relieved when I realized this.
If we had been thrown to some other world, I really didn’t know how I would return to my family.
But after figuring this out, there was still one thing that was on my mind.
“Even if we’re in the same world, just where are we? I’ve never seen this place before…”
