Chapter 2153: Records of creation (1)
There was no warning at all.
When I reacted, I found that I was in a completely different place.
In fact, it didn’t even feel like I was inside of a body. It felt like I was just floating there in space with how I was looking down on what was in front of me.
But that wasn’t the main thing on my mind right now.
It was the scene in front of me that I cared about more.
“Those are incubation chambers?”
It was jarring to go from a medieval fantasy setting to a sci fi setting like this, but there was no ignoring the large glass tubes that were in front of me.
When I looked closely, I could see that there were things that were growing inside of these incubation chambers. Though from what I could see, it didn’t seem like anything that I would recognize.
It seemed like blobs that were being held inside of these incubation chambers, but I could also see that they were moving.
“So whatever is inside of that is alive, but what is it?”
The more that I watched these things, the more curious that I was about them.
From what I could see, it really seemed like they were growing in real time.
It was just that there was nothing that was growing out of them, the only thing that was actually growing was the size of these things. It was like a multi cell organism that was just growing more cells without actually creating any specialization for these cells.
It didn’t seem like these things inside of the incubation chambers would become anything in the end.
My attention was pulled away from those incubation chambers in the end by something that came from behind me.
I recognized the sound and when I turned around, I saw what I expected to see.
It was a door that had slid open and there were a few people that walked in.
However, my eyes were only on the one person that was at the head of this group.
Though I had never really seen her real appearance, I had heard her voice and had seen the outline enough to know who the leader of this group was. At the same time, this was the same figure that I had seen previously when I had been shown visions by the statues of the God of Creation.
There was no doubt in my mind that this was Solista.
With the way that she walked in front of the others, I could see that she was the leader of this group.
When they walked in, all of them headed in the direction of the incubation chambers.
Though I was standing…or rather floating between them and the incubation chambers, it didn’t seem like they noticed me at all. I already knew that this would be the case, but it was still surprising when they walked right past me.
It was the same as the other vision that I had been shown.
In this place, I was nothing more than a ghost that was watching things that had happened in the past.
Or they should have been things that had happened in the past based on the context clues that I got from the visions that I had seen so far. I wasn’t certain since I had no idea why they were showing me these visions in the first place.
Once they were in front of the incubation chambers, Solista took the lead as she grabbed a clipboard from the side.
I floated over behind her and looked at what was on the clipboard, but there was a strange look that appeared on my face when I saw what was written.
Humans.
The things inside of the incubation chambers were supposed to be humans, but I really couldn’t associate these blobs with humans. They were the furthest thing away from humans with how they looked, but that was what was written on these reports.
After reading the reports, Solista said, “It seems like everything is developing well, but this race doesn’t really have any special abilities. We should give them something that will help them survive in this world.”
“It’s very simple, it’s because they have nothing that they are special.”
Turning around, there was another group that came in.
Solista narrowed her eyes to look at the one that spoke and it was clear that she didn’t agree with them. However, it also seemed like there was nothing that she could say in response to what they said.
When I heard this voice, I also felt that it was familiar.
It was just that this voice was completely different from how they normally talked to me.
“Aquaron?” I couldn’t help slowly muttering this to myself as I looked at this person that led this new group.
“Aquaron, is this one of your special ideas?” Solista asked in the end.
“It’s not my idea, it’s the great one’s idea.”
The moment that Aquaron said this, the expression on everyone’s face changed.
It seemed like once this ’great one’ was involved, there was nothing for anyone else to say. It seemed like this ’great one’s’ decision was final when it came to matters of this place.
I didn’t even need to guess to know who this ’great one’ that they were referring to was.
There was only one person…or rather one god that they could be referring to.
“So the humans were the creation of the God of Creation.”
Does that make them special? I had no idea at all, but it should mean something for a race to be created by the God of Creation.
Since that matter was settled, everyone went off to do their own work.
Aquaron walked over to Solista’s side and looked around as if he was making sure that there was no one close enough to hear what they were saying.
Only after he made sure that everyone wasn’t listening did he say, “What about the special project?”
