Chapter 2154: Records of creation (2)
Solista didn’t answer when Aquaron asked this.
Instead, she looked at him with a disapproving look for a while before finally saying, “You know that we shouldn’t be discussing that.”
Aquaron didn’t seem bothered by the response that Solista gave.
He just calmly said, “You’re the one that’s been working closest with the ’great one’ on this project, so you should be the one that knows the most.”
Then in a different tone that almost made it seem like he was just a caring family member, he said, “I just want to know more about the youngest.”
The moment that I heard this, I couldn’t help knitting my brows.
After all, I had heard that term before.
The youngest god that apparently the God of Creation had created this entire world for…
If I could find out more about the youngest from this vision, then I might be able to figure out certain things about this world that had been kept from me this entire time.
Only it didn’t seem like Solista wanted to talk about the youngest with Aquaron.
Instead of responding to the question that he asked, she instead said, “Why do you want to know more about the youngest all of a sudden? Are you sure that your intentions are pure?”
A serious look appeared on Aquaron’s face as he said, “Naturally they are pure. Why would you even think of me like that? We’re all part of the same family, so it’s only normal that we would want to take care of each other.”
Even though he said this in a serious voice, the way that Solista looked at him showed that she didn’t really trust him.
But in the end, Solista just said with a sigh, “Even if I wanted to tell you anything, it isn’t as if there’s anything new that’s happened.”
“What do you mean?”
Solista looked around before lowering her voice, but it wasn’t as if I couldn’t hear her even if she lowered her voice.
“There’s no development with the youngest.”
Aquaron looked surprised by this before saying, “Then you’re saying that the youngest is a…”
Before he could finish what he was going to say, Solista suddenly reached out to cover his mouth. A serious expression appeared on her face as she said, “You better not say that here.”
Aquaron realized his mistake and nodded in agreement with what she said.
However, the look on his face showed the worry that he felt.
From what I could see, it seemed like the youngest was indeed quite important to them. It’s just that from their conversation, I really wasn’t learning anything about the youngest at all.
After a long silence, Aquaron finally asked, “What will happen with the youngest now?”
Solista didn’t say anything as she looked like she was deep in thought.
But in the end, she said, “It isn’t our place to worry about that.”
It was just that Aquaron didn’t seem ready to drop this matter as he said, “You know what the youngest represents. If there is a problem, we all need to come together to come up with a solution.”
Solista’s hand fell onto Aquaron’s shoulder before she said, “Calm yourself.”
The way that she said this was as if she was not giving him another choice.
This immediately made Aquaron calm down before he said with an embarrassed look, “I’m sorry. It’s just that this matter has gotten me a bit worked up.”
Solista gave a sigh before saying, “You’re the oldest of us, so it’s only natural that you would feel this way. You’re our big brother who has protected us all this time.”
As she said this, there was a trace of affection that filled her voice.
Though I had already suspected that this was the case, it was completely different when she confirmed this.
I knew that the gods had been created by the God of Creation, so they were related in some way. But I never thought that they would be close enough that they would call each other siblings like this.
It seemed like the relationship between certain gods was much more intimate than I thought.
Aquaron shook his head before saying, “It’s my fault for being too worked up. I should be calmer than this as the oldest.”
Solista patted him on the shoulder gently this time before saying, “For now, just stop thinking about it. It’s not our place to worry about this, the ’great one’ will take care of everything.”
Aquaron gave a small nod of agreement.
After this, the two of them went back to what they were doing.
The way that they acted around the incubation chambers made them look like scientists, but that was strange since they were supposed to be gods. One wouldn’t think that gods would create things in a manner like this, but it seemed like they took what they were doing quite seriously.
The way that they ran their tests and marked down the data really made it seem like they were proper researchers.
During this time, it didn’t seem like they were using any divine energy at all.
However, I knew better than that.
Even if I was something that was like a ghost, I could feel the flow of energy still.
From the tubes that were connected to the incubation chamber, I could feel the divine energy that was flowing into them. So in a way, they were still using divine energy for their creations.
It was just that the way that they did it felt mechanical instead of like fantasy.
As they injected the divine energy into the cultivation chambers, I could see that the blobs inside of these chambers were reacting.
It seemed like they were trying to decide on the final shape of these blobs with how they incited them. The divine energy was getting the blobs to create things that seemed like precursor limbs.
The way that this all played out was like some kind of record of the world’s creation.
