After looking at the statue a bit longer, I shook this thought out of mind and turned to leave.

Even if I had an idea of how strong the God of Creation was, it wasn’t as if that meant anything.

It wasn’t as if I would be able to do anything to the God of Creation. I wasn’t even able to handle one of the Four Omens under the God of Destruction.

I would be like an ant in front of the God of Creation.

In fact, I bet the God of Creation already knew what I was thinking. If it wasn’t for the fact that I was still useful to her, then there was no doubt that she would have taken care of me.

So until then, I had to keep growing until I could figure out a way to escape their plans.

Once I came back to where Lupus and Joan were, I received a surprising reaction. from the two of them. They looked at me as if they were seeing me for the first time, almost as if they couldn’t believe that it was me that they were looking at.

“What is it?” I asked them, but neither of them answered as they continued looking at me like this.

The way that they looked at me was as if they were sizing me up.

It was as if they had encountered something that they considered dangerous, which was why they were now looking at me like this.

I didn’t say anything as I waited for them to finish what they were doing, but eventually Joan came over to my side. The way that she acted was as if she was still cautious of me.

But in the end, she leaned her head down and pressed it up against me as if she was rubbing herself against me.

Lupus also came over, but she was a bit more hesitant than Joan.

It seemed like her stronger senses made it harder for her to accept the change that came over me compared to Joan.

Still in the end, the two of them accepted me for the new me.

After they came to terms with this, they looked at me as if they were wondering what had happened. However, it was hard for me to actually explain what happened.

Which was why I said, “I’ll tell you later.”

The two of them looked like they wanted to know, but they still nodded to show that they understood.

After all, they knew that we had something else that we had to figure out.

“How do we get out of here?”

We still had no idea where we were and if there was a way out of this place. It was a place that clearly no one had been in for the longest time, so it wasn’t as if there was a way to enter or leave this place.

Which was why it was hard for us to find a way out of this place.

“Let’s go and see if Solista has a clue for us.”

That was the desperate decision that I came to after thinking about our situation.

I had no idea what we would be able to discover if we were to search this place, but I was aware of how long it would take for us to search this place.

I already had a good idea of how big this city was after moving through it on Lupus’ back. We hadn’t explored most of the buildings that were in this place and we had no idea what to expect.

So it really wasn’t smart if we were to slowly explore this place without a single idea of what we were looking for.

Who would know if we would even be able to find a way out of here before we died of old age…

Well, before I died of old age since Lupus and Joan did have a longer lifespan than me.

Not to mention that it wasn’t as if I had become a demigod or something similar yet.

As a human, I’d like to believe that I still had the lifespan of a human.

With this suggestion, Lupus took us back to the main temple just like before.

The lights came on right away as soon as entered, showing that they were triggered by some kind of motion sensor. Though looking around, I couldn’t find anything that could be seen as a kind of motion sensor.

But in the end, that didn’t matter.

I went over to the statue of Solista and lowered my head like before while thinking, “Please guide us to a way out of here.”

It didn’t seem like anything was going to happen at first, but then there was a trail of light that appeared. This was a trail of light that was just like the one that had appeared before and showed us the way to the God of Creation’s statue.

As for what this trail of light was leading us to now, I had no idea.

Still, I believed that she would be leading us to a place that would be able to help us.

Not to mention that it wasn’t as if we had another choice in the matter.

It wasn’t as if we knew what to do if she didn’t show us a way.

Coming out of the temple, I could see that the trail of light was already leading us in a different direction which was a good sign. At the very least, it seemed like Solista had heard what I asked and was sending us to a different place.

As for where she was planning to send us, I had no idea.

Following this trail of light, I saw that we were being guided to one of the buildings near the center of the city. It wasn’t exactly in the center, but it was within the core region of this city.

Only just from the outside appearance of this building alone, I had no idea where we were being led.
