“Stop.” I said in a firm voice, but it didn’t feel like it was going to stop.

So I had no choice but to force my hand away from the portal.

Only as I did this, it felt like there was this strong force that prevented me from pulling my hand away. No matter how I tried, there was this force that seemed intent on keeping me connected to the portal.

The strange thing was that I could tell it was my divine energy.

It was as if as long as something wasn’t complete, it wouldn’t let me go.

“You belong to me.” With these four firm words, I pulled myself away in the end.

Once I finally pulled my hand away, I could feel that sensation disappearing.

But after I pulled my hand away, I could already tell that there was something different about the portal.

Lupus came forward to take a look as I steadied myself and when I finally recovered, I could see the strange look that was on her face. This wasn’t the kind of expression one would show unless there was something very off about this.

“It’s changed.” It was two simple words, but it was clear what Lupus was referring to.

I looked at the portal closely and found that she was right.

Even though I didn’t really understand what the magic array on the portal was, I could tell that it had been completed to a certain extent. Or at least the part of it that had been warped previously looked like it had been fixed.

The only thing that had happened was that I had used my creation divine energy on it…

Seeing this, I couldn’t help looking down at my hands with a strange look.

Though I had my doubts, the facts that were in front of me seemed to be showing something completely different. It seemed like it actually had an effect on the portal with what I could see.

It’s just that it didn’t make sense at all.

“The creation divine energy should only be able to create something if I can visualize it and I have no idea what this thing is supposed to be like, so how could it fix it like this?”

The more that I thought about it, the more confused I was…

But then I couldn’t help thinking of the strong pull that came from the portal just now when I tried using the creation divine energy. That pull clearly wasn’t normal, so it meant that it had something to do with how this had been fixed all of a sudden.

“Does that mean that the creation divine energy has some hidden property that I don’t know about?”

As I stared down at my hands, I really couldn’t figure out what it was that had been different about this.

But in the end, I looked at the portal once more and raised my hand towards it.

Since I couldn’t figure it out just by looking at it like this, then the only thing that I could do was experience it once more. I didn’t know what would happen if I were to experience it again, but I knew that it would give me some kind of clue.

Which was why I started using my creation divine energy on the portal once more.

The same thing happened where it felt like there was something being pulled out of me, which I knew was my divine energy.

Now that I was focused on the process, I could tell that it pulled out a large amount of divine energy when I tried to fix this thing.

Once it was done, it felt like I had been completely drained of all the energy in my body.

“Does it compensate with extra divine energy if I can’t imagine it?” Another strange look appeared on my face as I came to this conjecture.

This creation divine energy was something that was used to create new things and it wasn’t as if one would know everything when they were creating something.

So if the one using the creation divine energy didn’t understand the principles of what they were trying to create, they could brute force it with a large amount of divine energy instead.

For the God of Creation, this wouldn’t be a problem since they were a god.

However, it was different for me since I was a mortal and didn’t have the same amount of divine energy as the God of Creation.

“This really is something that should only be used as a last resort or when I have time to recover. If I force this out, all I’ll be doing is leaving myself vulnerable…”

Still, the fact that I had found a new use for my creation divine energy was certainly something to celebrate. And the most important thing was that with this new discovery, we would be able to escape this place.

It would take some time since I would have to keep recovering after using that large amount of divine energy, but it was better than nothing. We were in a rush to go back, but I knew that there might not be anything to go back to.

So it was better to take our time and ensure that everything was safe before using this portal.

Since we were underground, I had no idea just how long it took for us to fix this portal. The only thing that I knew was that I would use the creation divine energy until I couldn’t and then I would sleep until I could use it again.

Just like this, we were able to slowly repair the portal until it didn’t seem like anything was wrong with it anymore.

However, there was still a problem that we had to solve before we could use the portal.

“How are we supposed to provide power to this thing? Where do we even connect to on this thing to provide it with power?”
