Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2171: A small talk

Chapter 2171: A small talk
“Holy son, you should really be resting up.” The popes that followed behind me tried to get me to stop, but I didn’t as I headed to the chapel in the main church.
With the teleportation arrays, it was easy for me to go from that kingdom to the Holy Empire.
However, the first thing that I did was head to the main chapel.
The fact that all of these popes were trying to stop me was also a bit suspicious.
It didn’t seem like they were trying to stop me just because they were worried about my health. Rather, it felt like they were trying to stop me because there was someone that had given them guidance to do so.
It was as if there was someone or more than one person that was trying to stop me.
Given that we were in the Holy Empire and I was trying to talk to certain gods, it wasn’t hard to guess who it was that was trying to stop me.
“You’ve received oracles?” I even tried tricking them into confessing, but they just turned away instead of answering. Though this did answer the question even if they didn’t say anything.
I didn’t need to guess to know why the gods were trying to keep me away, but there was something that I wanted to discuss with them.
However, there was one thing that might keep me from seeing them.
If they didn’t want to see me, it was actually quite simple since I couldn’t enter the divine realm to see them if they didn’t bring me there.
But when I arrived in the chapel, I was pulled into the divine realm.
When I was being pulled into the divine realm, it felt a bit different.
It was almost as if it was something that I was doing on my own with how it felt when I was being pulled into the divine realm.
Once I was there, I found that there was only one figure that was there waiting for me.
Only the moment that I saw this figure, I couldn’t help being a bit caught off guard.
Normally, this figure would appear as pure light and I wouldn’t be able to see any features of this figure. I might have been able to make out a few details, but they wouldn’t have been that in depth.
This time, I could see the figure without the light blocking me.
It wasn’t hard to guess what had happened, but I certainly was surprised that I was able to see her full appearance now.
Especially since she still looked just like the figure that I had seen in the vision I was shown while accepting the inheritance. Though I didn’t know exactly how long had passed, it was as if she hadn’t aged a single day.
But then again, she was a god.
Gods were supposed to be immortal to begin with, so it wasn’t as if they would change as time passed. It would have actually been more surprising if she had changed since the past.
Neither of us said anything as we just stood there, but I could see the expression on Solista’s face now.
Though she was trying to hide her emotions by keeping a straight face, I was able to see the traces of emotion that were in her eyes. It really seemed like she wasn’t able to hide this without the help of the divine light.
I didn’t really have much to say since I had other things to do.
The only reason that I came to see Solista was because there was one question that I had to ask.
“I’ve received the third inheritance, so where’s the fourth?”
Solista had said that as long as I found the three inheritances, they would show me the way to the fourth inheritance. And now that I had obtained the three inheritances of the God of Creation, I wanted to find the fourth as well.
Just the third inheritance had increased my power like this, but I didn’t think that it would be enough to deal with War. After all, I still remember the second form that War took when we last fought.
I didn’t know the limits of War’s power, so there was no telling if this newly gained power was anywhere near enough.
I didn’t want to take a risk since it was the lives of my family that were on the line, so I wanted to obtain the fourth inheritance as well before dealing with War.
Only if I obtained that fourth inheritance would I have confidence in dealing with the forces of Destruction.
Only it didn’t seem like Solista heard what I had said.
No, it wasn’t that she didn’t hear what I said since it was impossible for her to miss this.
It was that she didn’t want to answer.
I didn’t say anything at first as I waited for a response from Solista, but seeing that she wasn’t going to say anything, I couldn’t wait any longer.
“It’s not the right time yet.” Solista said all of a sudden before I could say anything.
I immediately knitted my brow the moment that I heard this.
The way that I looked at her made it very clear what I was thinking, but she didn’t seem to react to it at all.
Instead, Solista just said with a sigh, “I know, but it really isn’t the right time yet. I’ll tell you when the time is right, but it’s not that time yet.”
The more that she acted this way, the more disappointed and angry I became since they were going back on what they said.
“You’re not ready.” Solista said as if she could read my mind.
Though with the way that I looked at her, it wasn’t as if there was a need for her to read my mind to know what I was thinking.
In the end, it didn’t seem like I was going to get anything from her.
“Thanks for nothing.” I said as she started sending me back.
