Chapter 2180: What is my specialty (1)
“Sh*t, it really seems like I’m going to run out of divine energy before I come up with a solution.”
There really didn’t seem like an end to the amount of corruption energy that War could gather around itself since there were endless corruption energy monsters here.
At this rate, it really was like throwing drops into the ocean trying to purify all of this.
But if I didn’t, then I wouldn’t be able to defeat War.
So what was the best way to break through and reach War?
While I was considering this, it seemed like War was still getting faster and faster.
Seeing this, I realized that there was a second part to War’s domain.
It wasn’t just the death of the corruption energy soldiers that made War stronger, it seemed that even the passing of time made it stronger. It wasn’t that more and more corruption energy was gathered around War, it was the attribute of its domain.
War was something that became more and more intense as time passed, which was why this same domain that represented war was the same.
The more time passed, the stronger the domain became.
So it seemed like there was even a time limit that was being put on me…
“Why are you thinking so much about how you can break through his domain?”
I was caught off guard when I heard this before looking around to see where this voice was coming from.
It was only after looking down that I realized that there was a bug that was clinging to my shirt.
Seeing this bug, I immediately knew who it was that had spoken.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked the bug, or rather Queenie who was behind the bug, this question.
“It’s very simple, why do you care about what his domain does?”
The more that I heard her say this, the more confused I was about all of this.
After all, in a battle between domains, it was all about figuring out which domain was stronger. Since I was weaker in terms of energy, then it only made sense that I would try to find some kind of weakness to take advantage of to turn the tide.
But now Queenie was telling me to forget that?
I just couldn’t understand why Queenie was saying something like this.
“Think about the specialty of your domain.”
“My domain?” I asked in a confused voice.
It was just that it seemed like Queenie was done giving advice with how she fell silent.
I didn’t know what to say, but I at least started thinking about what Queenie had told me.
Eventually, she said, “Domains are representations of one’s power and they are based on one’s beliefs. As long as you focus on that, you don’t need to worry about anything else.”
The way that Queenie said this was completely different from how she normally talked that it made me feel like this wasn’t Queenie.
Only when she put it like this, it did seem to make a bit of sense.
It was as if something had suddenly clicked inside of my mind and I figured something out.
“I’ll need your help.”
Queenie, or rather the bug representing her, gave a nod to show that it was fine.
Though before I did make my move, I said, “We’ll have a talk about your identity later.”
This time, there was no reaction that came from the bug. However, that was more than enough to show who it was that was behind this bug.
In fact, it was even a form of silent admittance.
Ignoring that, I started drawing on the divine energy that Queenie provided through the bug.
The specialty of Queenie’s divine energy was the propagation factor which would help make up for one of the things that I was lacking. While it wouldn’t make up for everything since this was just weaker divine energy, it was still enough for me to give it a try.
Once I had gathered enough divine energy from Queenie, I spread out my domain once more.
This time, I didn’t just release the domain in just the surrounding area.
This time, I spread it so that it completely enveloped War and its domain.
I was doing the same thing that War had done before where it had tried to surround me in its domain.
Though in this case, it wasn’t as if my domain was suppressing War’s domain since it was weaker in terms of power. It was more that it was just enveloping it without actually pushing down on it.
“What are you trying to do? Are you giving me a hug now?” War taunted me when it saw this domain being released, but I didn’t say anything in response as I focused on my own domain.
Since it was my domain, it meant that I was able to control everything that was inside of the domain.
I was using this control to see where the corruption energy soldiers were distributed. I was trying to see where there were less of them compared to the rest of the formation.
After determining this, I didn’t hesitate to release my attack.
“You think that destroying the soldiers will do…” War only got halfway through what it was saying until it was forced to raise its shield to block.
It was just that it wasn’t able to block everything and there were a few weapons that made it through its defenses.
It didn’t seem like it did much, but at least it left a mark on War’s armour.
This was the first mark that I had made since War released its domain.
“You…” War didn’t finish what it said, but the tone of it showed that it was viewing me in a different light.
It seemed like War was taking me as a threat now instead of treating this as just a game.
But this had given me an epiphany and I was slowly starting to understand what Queenie meant.
“So this is my specialty…”
