Sumatra's Greatest Fan - Chapter 171: The Silver’s Influence 2.0

Chapter 171: The Silver’s Influence 2.0
Expert Iron Grade Pranic Beast–Bludder!
It was also being nurtured in one of the Wean Clan’s Nests. Though significantly more expensive than other Iron Grade Pranic Beasts, he could still afford it.
Torq purchased one Bludder, turned it into a Pet, on alternate days, used Nectar to extract the concentrated version of its genetic essence upon making it use Mystic Sumatra Art.
The Bludder was constantly drinking Nectar and cultivating using Mystic Sumatra Art. and every alternate day, it was killed, and then revived shortly after. Then, it continued cultivating until it was killed another day later, in a loop.
To aid this process, Torq had another Skill in place.
Mystic Sumatra Art–Empyrean Extraction!
When used alongside Nectar, a concentrated essence, almost solid in shape, bearing faint resemblance to the Spirit Container gets produced. This concentrated essence was a universal Information Slip, accessible to most Pranic Beasts, so long as they use Mystic Sumatra Art.
Torq had already laid down the groundwork for Mystic Sumatra Art in his previous life, taking advantage of Eureur Pet and Raurau Pet, both of whom were fairly knowledgeable.
Yarsha Zahara, the founder of Varahan Empire and Mystic Sumatra Art, used the cultivation techniques of the Mammoth Clan’s Mystic Bone Art, Cooter Clan’s Mystic Mist Art, and the then Brimgan Empire’s Gold Kinesis Art as the foundation to create Mystic Sumatra Art.
Since Torq already had the Skill of Empyrean Extraction for Mystic Mist Art, it wasn’t hard to make plans on how it could be adapted to other techniques.
And upon being born as Garabuntara, and obtaining Mystic Sumatra Art, Torq used his knowledge and succeeded in adapting the Skill.
The data obtained as a universal Information Slip was then given to the Bludder Pet, which accessed it using Mystic Sumatra Art. Now, armed with data of itself, the Bludder Pet was better able to apply Mystic Sumatra Art to form imprints of its blood and Prana upon each other.
This raised the quality of the extracted Nectar to possess perfected genetic information. Steadily, Torq could even segregate the Nectar into different segments, each containing a genetic strain’s data.
He labelled it, and according to the situation, fed different genetic strains to the Boutique Lizard Pet and noted the changes, ’This strain causes the Nature of Cultivator to be treated as a dominant characteristic, this strain gives a similar result…’
He collated the data, immersing himself in the research. More than four months passed in such a fashion, when Torq felt a trigger in his stomach’s hunger and promptly began reciting, “Sumatra, your Blessed One seeks, the Silver’s…”
Then, he picked up a jar with the concentrated essence of a Bludder, and exited his room. In the living room was AuraBuntara, making another sculpture like usual.
“Where are you going, brother?” She asked upon seeing him walk out with a strange jar that was shaped like a lantern, with a metal hook held in his hands.
“Sumatra’s call,” Torq expressed with an ever-so-mysterious tone and excused himself before AuraBuntara could comment on his actions.
“You’re in your trousers!” Came a shout from behind, but Torq didn’t seem to have heard it as he steadily walked up the flight of stairs, using his sense of hunger to determine the number of people in the vicinity, ’Good, the assassin is following me.’
He soon passed by his grandfather’s room and paused for a couple seconds, ’The fact that grandfather, with his 10-Life Stage cultivation, cannot detect the assassin, makes it obvious.’
’It’s a State of Harmony user from the Varahan Empire.’ He continued walking, ’It makes sense, since only such an individual could sneak past our defences.’
Even though they weren’t obvious about it, at every moment, at least six Wean Clansmen kept an eye on Torq from afar, silently protecting him from harm. They were all at the 8-Life Stage, brothers and sisters of his grandfather.
Even though they were from his grandfather’s generation, thanks to their lifespan exceeding a millennia, all of them looked to be in their prime, like in their early twenties. That was why they perfectly blended through the crowd, making it hard for the assassins to notice them.
Majority of the assassins were taken out by them. Only a State of Harmony user could slip past this defence. ’It has been eight years, huh? The last time someone of such a calibre attacked me was on the day of my birth.’
Soon, he had reached the topmost floor, from where he inhaled a deep breath, “The air today is amazing!”
He walked up a branch of the Decodus Tree, steadily moving away from the people, being pretty open about his intention to relax out in the open. ’Those who are guarding me are currently over two hundred metres away.’
It didn’t matter to them, since they were in the Life Stage. Torq was well within their Spirit Weapon range.
The assassin was probably in the 2-Life Stage, so he could target Torq from afar too. However, with the natural defences of a Spectral Boar Clansman, it was extremely difficult to take him out in a single hit.
To avoid wasting time during a Spirit Weapon’s travel through the air, attacking from closeup was better. And hence, since there was an opportunity, the assassin began to move closer.
Even though he didn’t express it externally, Torq was nervous, ’Damn!’
’Whether it be through my senses of my Prana detection means, he remains invisible to me.’ However, the sense of hunger he felt through his stomach relayed the other party’s steady approach, ’He has been tailing me for over a week now, and hasn’t taken action because he didn’t have a clear line of sight.’
That’s why, once Torq was prepared, he created an opportunity, seated on the branch as he dangled his legs and hummed a merry tune. ’No one else is in my Spirit Weapon range. Perfect!’
He patiently waited until the target walked into his range, waited, waited more, kept on waiting until he was sure even if the other party reacted and jumped pack upon a moment’s amiss, he wouldn’t be able to leave the range in the short duration upon his uttering.
And then, he completed his incantation, “Influence!”
The world in a radius of 180 metres around him turned monochromatic, invisible to the senses of everyone else.
“What…!” Came a shout from the assassin, as instinctively, he leapt away, planning to escape first, only to slam into the boundary of the dome, “What the heck is this?”
“You cannot escape,” Came Torq’s cruel voice, “No matter what, you have now been designated as my prey.”
Boom!
The assassin attacked the boundary twice, and upon failing to make an opening, sprang to target Torq, only to see a silver humanoid appear before him, in closeup, breathing down his forehead.
“Shi…” The assassin was at the 3-Life Stage. His third body was newly formed, so he promptly adjusted the stack, so that the newly formed body would die first, making an opportunity for his developed two bodies to spring a counterattack.
However, he felt his entire stack freeze up at the sight of the presence released by the other party, which had locked onto him. And within a tenth of a second, barely as he could react, arrived a needle.
It made contact with his forehead, and vaporised the entire stack, from the body, mind, and soul, leaving nothing behind.
’Ideally, it would be nice if I could strip a patch of his skin. Unfortunately, it’s too risky. Only my guaranteed kill attack can destroy a State of Harmony user.’ Thinking as such, Torq got up and approached the silver humanoid that was helpless, now that it had used up all its reserves of Prana.
It couldn’t break free of his grasp, thanks to his superior physical strength. And then, Torq poured the Nectar filled with concentrated Bludder essence down the silver humanoid’s throat, “And hence, begins my plan.”
