Chapter 1589: Fighting the Alpha Class Alien
The alpha class alien bounced on the ground a few times and sprang toward Nathan.
Nathan’s divine rule was activated one more time. His position and time had changed.
Nathan abruptly disappeared for a split second before reappearing on top of the alien, already drawing his fist.
The alien raised its head and arms as Nathan’s fist hit it.
Bam!
The space and time vibrated and blasted the alien to the ground, causing a massive crater.
Now that the alien had been pinned down to the ground, Orochi released his poison from all nine heads, trying to melt the alien.
The alien raised both arms, blocking the poison as much as possible. In fact, the alien seemed to spring back on its feet and withstand Orochi’s power while standing.
Fenrir added power by unleashing his absolute force onto the alien, but the alien somehow withstood everything as though it weren’t a big deal.
Fenrir and Orochi looked annoyed. They were divine beasts. Their power should have an effect against an alpha class alien since they possessed divinity. Yet, for some reason, this alien could withstand everything they threw at it.
When they fought the alpha class alien on Erendall, they fought much better than this.
Nathan, on the other hand, had figured out the alien’s power.
Suddenly, Nathan’s voice echoed in their minds. “All right. Stop your attack!”
The moment their powers were gone, Nathan abruptly appeared in front of the alien.
“!!!” The alpha class alien was confused, but this was also an opportunity to hit Nathan.
Unfortunately for the alien, Nathan disappeared right after.
The alien became even more confused. Nathan had the perfect opportunity to hit its body earlier, yet he chose to abandon that chance.
To the alien’s surprise, the next thing it realized, Nathan had reappeared on its back and punched the alien.
“Space Quake.”
Nathan combined the Time Seal, the Space Crack, and the Divine Rule into a single ability.
The Time Seal was originally meant to stop the time of someone or something near it, mostly something. It allowed Nathan to stack his power and create a power beyond his current strength.
Thanks to the divine rule, he got full control of the area around him. He controlled both the dimensions and time.
This time, Nathan focused on the time aspect. He recreated the Time Seal with this Divine Rule, but he expanded the dimensions.
Then, he copied the instances he used the Space Crack and put them in a single timeline.
As a result, he could produce the Space Quake without directly using the inconvenient Time Seal anymore.
And because this power was created by the Divine Rule, it could gather more power compared to the Time Seal.
Nathan used this power to crush the alien.
The alien, who was supposed to stretch its body forward, surprisingly spat a mouthful of blood.
“!!!” Fenrir and Orochi widened their eyes. They didn’t understand what was going on.
For some reason, Nathan’s ability was successfully connected to this alien.
The Space Quake hit the alien hard and launched him far away. The residual power from the Space Quake caused the mountain to start crumbling, creating multiple landslides.
“Summoner. What’s going on?” Orochi asked. “How did you do it?”
“It’s a pretty simple trick.” Nathan smiled. “I just turned back the alien’s time to the time before he applied his power.”
“What?” Fenrir widened his eyes in shock.
Nathan explained, “This alien should be using a large amount of power every time it turns into rubber. That’s why it can’t use its power continuously. It has to intermittently activate that power to last long enough to defeat us.
“That’s why I just have to turn back one or two seconds of its time, allowing my attack to connect.”
They didn’t expect Nathan to understand the principle.
“How did you even figure it out?” Fenrir was dumbfounded. He thought his understanding and senses were higher than Nathan’s, but he started to doubt himself.
Nathan, on the other hand, simply said, “My eyes. Do you think I move things simply because I consider them an object? When I move them, I notice that I can move something else from the alien.
“But because it is actually linked directly to the alien, I can’t remove it with my space element. So, I have to remove it by using my time element.”
“So, we either use your power or just overpower this alien until it can’t use its ability anymore?” Orochi asked.
“Basically, yes. Don’t forget about the berserk state.”
Both Orochi and Fenrir understood the assignment.
Since they had figured out the alien’s power, they immediately charged forward.
Several aliens were coming in their ways, trying to prevent them from approaching their leader.
However, Fenrir simply released his absolute force in the area to knock them down, and Orochi swept them away with several heads.
Nathan leaped into the air and raised both hands.
Destructive Bullets.
He first used to stop the alpha class alien from escaping as well as force him to use the ability to turn into rubber again.
When the Destructive Bullet hit the alien and exploded, the alien’s body was distorted but soon recovered like normal.
Then, the alien leaped toward Fenrir.
When Fenrir was busy hitting the surrounding aliens, the alpha class alien struck him in the face, the muscles on its arm bounced, producing even more power.
“Gah!” Fenrir’s nose was actually broken from the punch and his body was knocked down. Other aliens were trying to get him, but Orochi released all his poison right away, clearing up the area around Fenrir.
“I don’t need your help.” Fenrir snorted and stood back up before using absolute force to blast away the surrounding aliens.
The alpha class alien managed to withstand the blast easily, but it ended up becoming a victim of Orochi’s poison.
As Orochi said, he wasn’t helping. He merely tried to force Fenrir to stop the alien so that he could attack it.
And this time, Orochi’s attack actually worked. The body seemed to start melting as though it were breaking through the poison resistance the alien possessed.
“!!!”
