Chapter 1590: Killing the Alpha Class Alien
Fenrir didn’t expect Orochi’s power to suddenly become effective. “What?”
“Heh.” Orochi scoffed. His power was actually melting its skin and forced the alien to retreat. “As expected. Now that I know what kind of power I’m facing, I know how to destroy it.”
Fenrir didn’t want to lose. He hurriedly pounced on the alien.
The alien, having not yet stabilized his posture, couldn’t stop Fenrir from tackling him to the ground.
Fenrir opened his mouth wide and took a big bite of the alien’s head.
Obviously, the alien was compressing the rubber body as thin as paper so Fenrir couldn’t bite its head off.
However, Fenrir’s aim was never the head. It was a bit disappointing not to be able to kill the alien in one strike, but Fenrir was using his power to draw out that ability.
As Nathan mentioned earlier, the alien had to reapply his power if he wanted to avoid the second attack.
That was why Fenrir could bite his arm and rip it apart. He swallowed the alien’s arm to render its power useless.
The alien panicked and used its body like a spring, bouncing Fenrir away.
“…” Nathan had just explained the principle of the alien’s power, yet these two divine beasts had already found a way to counter this power.
’It looks like they’re good at finding the solution, just not the problem.’ Nathan thought. This was actually the first time he had seen them fight like this.
Normally, he would have to point out every single thing.
But Nathan wasn’t complaining.
As soon as there was an opportunity, Nathan immediately teleported himself to the alien.
Then, he immediately struck down the alien with another Space Quake. Since they had gone down the mountain, the fortress ended up getting ruined by his power as well.
However, that wasn’t as important as killing the alien. Ultimately, Nathan could turn back time on objects to restore them, not that he expected a lot of things to be left in this fortress after a few hundred years.
The alien finally had a hard time facing Nathan and the others. Its instinct was to run, but the black cell was keeping it here.
As a result, the alien had no other choice but to trade its own life force in exchange for power.
The power burst out of its body, overwhelming Nathan and forcing him to teleport away.
Nathan teleported back to his position and said, “Watch out.”
“I know.” Both Orochi and Fenrir answered at the same time while rushing forward.
The alien bounced off the ground at three times its original speed, taking Fenrir by surprise.
“!!!” Fenrir got hit and his bone actually cracked as his body got blasted away.
Then, the alien sprang toward Orochi. Since he had seen the alien’s power, Orochi managed to react and try to suppress the alien by using his poison.
Unfortunately for him, the alien was strong enough to blast away the poison with a single punch, creating a path between him and Orochi.
Then, the alien punched Orochi’s head with so much force that its body ended up tilting back. The other heads were trying to surround the alien, but the latter actually bounced off his heads multiple times like a pinball. Each bounce produced a tremendous amount of power, knocking the heads in rapid succession.
Nathan took a deep breath, knowing the alien had to be stopped. He approached Orochi and activated his domain.
His domain had also changed how it worked after he formed the divine rule. The time domain still stopped time. In fact, that ability was reinforced by his divine rule.
However, the domain itself had become even more controllable.
His domain remained a sphere, but he could focus all his power into a single spot within that domain.
In other words, he created a prison just for the alien.
“Space-Time Prison.”
The alien was using its own rule to ignore his power, slipping away from Nathan’s Space-Time Prison.
However, Orochi immediately spat the poison on the alien as Nathan removed his power. This poison and the alien’s unnatural posture from the previous bounce stopped the alien from being able to avoid this attack.
As a result, the poison pushed him back to the ground where Fenrir was waiting.
Orochi suddenly retracted his poison, allowing Fenrir to approach the alien and swallow it.
The alien acted like a spring within Fenrir’s mouth and opened his jaws wide to the point where they were about to snap.
Nathan teleported right in front of Fenrir and punched the alien with the Space Crack, generating just enough power to blast the alien into Fenrir’s stomach.
Finally, Fenrir sealed the alien within his belly before burping a few seconds later, spitting out the alien’s core. “I don’t want to eat that. Better give it to our summoner.”
“Don’t act cool when you can’t even finish the opponent by yourself.” Orochi replied with contempt.
“What did you say?” Fenrir glared at him.
“All right. All right. We’ve killed an alpha class alien. I don’t care about anything else.” Nathan stopped both of them. Back on Erendtall, he almost died because of an alpha class alien.
He never expected that this time he could actually kill an alpha class alien with only two of his familiars. If he worked together with all of them, he might be able to take out multiple alpha class aliens.
“Well. Our job is completed now. I guess we have to take care of the rest, especially the fortress. I don’t know if there is still anything remaining in that fortress…”
Nathan smiled wryly, looking at the state of the fortress. Their first bombardment was just to grab the alien’s attention, but Selena had sent out her blood spear, Iris had blasted it, and Nathan had ruined the entire fortress with the Space Quake.
There was not a single building in the fortress that was still intact after all those attacks.
Nathan scratched the back of his head. “Now… what? I guess I have to work overtime today…”
