His thoughts were still on cutting off the manifestation of his Life Ability in the mind of his thrall, who is called an attendant. He continued to do that as soon as he could think again.

Not only did he shut off that manifestation, but he also shut down every other manifestation in his thralls in that city. That way, the intruder won’t be able to take advantage of them again.

But this was still too late because Loki had already constructed the Mind Nodes. When he noticed what had happened in his Mental World, he realized that it was too late. He could only feel despair.

His despair was so great that he immediately decided to commit suicide. This was because he believed that only death could save him from this unfortunate situation.

He was right to commit suicide, but before he could execute his intentions, the power of the Hypnotize Metac kicked in and swept through his Mental World along with Loki’s voice.

Loki’s voice came out of a Mind Node, saying, “There is no need for such drastic actions. I’m sure we can talk things out and come to an arrangement.”

Loki said, “As long as you answer all of my questions, I will let you go.”
