He knew that he had heard this voice and he could even guess where this voice came from.

“Well, it would be a pain if you were to do that. I know that you feel the same way towards them.”
Lin Fan certainly didn’t deny this and since the hind was willing to talk, he changed the subject by saying, “So why are you suddenly deciding to talk to me?”
The hind stopped when it heard this before saying, “Well, I didn’t think that I needed to approach you since you didn’t seem to mean any harm. But now I can see that you’re here to meet me and I don’t want any trouble, so I came to meet you.”
It was Lin Fan’s turn to be surprised since he didn’t think that the hind would be this direct with him.
As he listened to what the hind said, there was a part of him that couldn’t help thinking one thing.
“It seems a bit young…”
From the reports that he read, he knew that this hind had been here for some time now. So it wasn’t that it was young physically, it was that this hind was young mentally.

“Alright, it was a joke.” The same smile appeared on his face when he saw the hind take another step forward again.
But seeing the hind act this way did make Lin Fan ask another question, “Why are you trusting what I say so easily?”
The hind seemed to tilt its head as if it was confused by this question, but then it said as if it was a natural thing, “Aren’t you related to the gods as well?”
This time, it was Lin Fan’s turn to be confused when he heard this.
It certainly wasn’t something that Lin Fan had been expecting to hear from the hind, but the hind said it so seriously that it was hard for him to ignore. He certainly never would have thought that the hind would be talking about gods.
Gods were normal on this magic continent, but it wasn’t as if everyone on this continent was connected to a god. Most people on the magic continent would never even have a chance to come in contact with something related to the gods.
Yet the hind was saying all of this in such a certain way that made it clear that it had some connection with the gods.

He really felt like an adult that was luring a child with candy.

“So why did you suddenly attack them?” Lin Fan asked in an attempt to both distract and get closer to the hind.
In between bites, the hind said, “Well, they invaded my territory. It’s not as if I could just let people enter my territory without doing anything.”
This certainly made sense, but Lin Fan didn’t expect the hind to have this kind of pride. It honestly felt a bit strange to see the hind talking with this kind of pride while it was eating the treats from his hand.
Still, he continued to distract the hind with different questions.
All during this time, he saw the different notifications appear that showed that he was getting closer and closer to his goal. It seemed like it would only be a matter of time before he was able to tame this hind with his Love Gauge Taming Skill.
But before that happened, it seemed like there was something that changed with the hind.
All of a sudden, it stopped eating from Lin Fan’s hand and slowly looked up at him.
The moment that the hind looked at Lin Fan like this, he knew that there was something that changed overall with the mood of the hind.
