Chapter 850: Chapter 380: Reina’s Successful Breakthrough (Part 2)
He turned and walked towards the depths of the Ice Palace, where Reina was secluded.
Reina was sitting cross-legged on a massive Ice Crystal, surrounded by a faint cold mist.
Her eyes were tightly closed and her brow slightly furrowed, clearly at a critical moment of a breakthrough.
David walked up to her and softly said, “Reina, I have brought the Energy Crystal from the Ice Hell Lord, it might lend you a helping hand.”
Reina slowly opened her eyes, a hint of fatigue and determination in her gaze.
Seeing David, she showed a look of joy, took the Crystal from David’s hand, and sensed the surging energy waves within.
She took a deep breath, held the Crystal in her palm, and began guiding the energy into her body.
With the infusion of energy, Reina’s body was gradually enveloped in an ice-blue glow.
Her Snow Demon Spirit began to pulsate violently, as the Power of Ice within her collided and fused with the Hell Energy in the Crystal.
Reina’s complexion turned pale, fine beads of sweat emerged on her forehead, but she gritted her teeth, persisting to prevent the energy from going out of control.
“Hang in there, Reina!”
David stood by, his gaze solemn.
He knew that the fusion of such energy was extremely dangerous, and even a slight mistake could lead to the collapse of Reina’s Snow Demon Spirit.
But he also believed that Reina had enough willpower to harness this force.
As time ticked by, Reina’s body began to tremble slightly, the energy fluctuations inside her growing more intense.
Suddenly, her eyes snapped open, flickering with an ice-blue light.
She let out a low shout, and the Power of Ice within her erupted instantly, as if freezing the surrounding air.
“Snow Demon Spirit · Sixth Ring Breakthrough!”
Reina’s voice echoed in the Ice Palace, six ice-blue rings appeared around her body, each emanating immense Power of Ice.
Her aura, at that moment, reached an unprecedented height, as if the entire Ice World was cheering for her.
A glimpse of relief flashed in David’s eyes, knowing that Reina had succeeded.
Her Snow Demon Spirit had finally broken through to the Sixth Ring, marking a qualitative leap in strength.
This not only signified her personal growth but also added a powerful aid to the Ice World’s struggle against the Ice Hell forces.
Reina slowly stood up, feeling the surging power within her.
She looked at David, her eyes filled with gratitude and determination, “Thank you, David. Without your help, I couldn’t have completed this breakthrough.”
David smiled slightly and shook his head, “It’s your own effort, I just offered a little assistance.”
David and Reina stood amidst the ruins of the Ice Palace, their gazes meeting, the air filled with a sense of mutual understanding and trust.
Despite the ongoing threat of the Ice Hell, they felt a rare sense of calm at that moment.
Reina had just completed the breakthrough of her Snow Demon Spirit, and the energy inside her had not yet fully stabilized, while David hoped to help her consolidate her power through a gentle approach.
“Reina.” David softly spoke, “Your power has just broken through, and the energy fluctuations inside haven’t completely subsided. Maybe we can help stabilize your state through some special cultivation methods.”
Reina’s face instantly turned red, and she immediately nodded, “Okay.”
David smiled softly, a gentle light flashing in his eyes.
David extended his hand, gently holding Reina’s, leading her to an open area in the center of the Ice Palace.
The surrounding Ice Crystals emitted faint light, adding a touch of mystery to their cultivation.
The two stood facing each other, David slowly raised his hands, palms upward.
Reina closed her eyes, took a deep breath, sensing David’s aura, then slowly raised her hands, lightly touching his palms.
She then slowly bent her body backward, while David steadily held her waist, helping her maintain balance.
Their movements were smooth and natural, as if they had long had a perfect understanding.
Reina felt the warmth transmitted from David’s palms, a warmth that welled up inside her heart, seemingly softening the Power of Ice within her.
David then slowly crouched down, supporting himself on the ground, indicating for Reina to place her feet on his shoulders.
Reina hesitated for a moment but quickly followed David’s instructions, lightly leaping up, her feet firmly landing on his shoulders.
David slowly stood up, forming a perfect balance between their bodies.
Reina closed her eyes, feeling the Power of Ice within her gradually stabilizing under David’s guidance.
Her breathing became deep and even, and the energy within seemed to resonate with David’s Chaos Bloodline, merging and forming a wonderful balance.
Time quietly flowed away in the perfect harmony between the two, the chill in the Ice Palace seemed to be driven away by this warmth.
When David slowly set Reina down, both wore a satisfying smile on their faces.
In the days that followed, David and Reina embarked on deeper dual cultivation.
Every day, they would cultivate in the Ice Palace, their energies continually sublimating in the merging process.
David’s Snow Demon Spirit also gradually enhanced with Reina’s help, reaching a new height.
One day, David and Reina sat at the center of the Ice Palace, their palms touching, the energy within forming a perfect cycle in their merging.
David sensed his Snow Demon Spirit gradually breaking through under Reina’s assistance, reaching a new realm.
“Reina.” David softly stated, “I feel my Snow Demon Spirit has reached a new height. Thank you.”
Reina smiled softly, a gentle light flickering in her eyes, “This is the result of our collective effort. No matter how tough the future may become, we will face it together.”
David nodded, his gaze brimming with determination, “Yes, we will protect this world together.”
…
At the entrance of the Ice Hell, the massive ice wall stood towering, the power of the sealing technique flowing within the ice layers, emitting a faint blue glow.
Amy and Reina stood in front of the ice wall, their gazes firmly fixed on the sealed Dark Abyss.
Though the threat of the Ice Hell had been temporarily suppressed, they knew well that the power of the seal was not eternal and could be broken at any time.
“Reina.” Amy softly spoke, her voice carrying a hint of fatigue, but more so, determination.
“We can’t take this lightly. The powers of the Ice Hell might be sealed, but those Dark Creatures won’t give up easily.”
Reina nodded, her gaze flashing with an icy glint:
“I know. We must stay here and ensure the seal isn’t destroyed. As long as we’re here, the entrance to the Ice Hell won’t be opened.”
Amy smiled faintly, patting Reina on the shoulder, “With you here, I’m much at ease. Still, we have to be ready to face any potential danger at any moment.”
Reina gripped the Ice Crystal Long Spear tightly, her gaze firm, “No matter what happens, I will fight alongside you.”
The two stood before the ice wall, the cold wind howling past, blowing their long hair and robes.
The surrounding ice plains were silent, with only the sound of the wind and occasional faint vibrations from within the ice layers.
Amy and Reina exchanged a glance, proceeding in mutual understanding to lay down a Defense Barrier around the seal.
Amy formed a sealing technique with her hands, chanting an ancient spell softly.
With her motion, golden runes flew from her fingertips, merging into the ice wall, reinforcing the power of the seal.
Reina waved her Ice Crystal Long Spear, drawing ice-blue traces around the ice wall, forming a solid barrier.
Time gently slipped by in the silence, as Amy and Reina’s Defense Barrier gradually took shape.
The sealing power on the ice wall became more solid, and the surrounding ice plain was also enveloped by their barrier, forming a safe zone.
“This should do it,” Amy released a long breath, wiping the sweat off her forehead, “As long as we don’t leave, the seal won’t be easily broken.”
Reina nodded, her gaze still vigilantly scanning the surroundings, “But we can’t let our guard down. The creatures of the Ice Hell could launch an attack at any time.”
Amy smiled slightly, a flash of determination in her eyes, “Rest assured, with us here, they won’t break through the seal.”
