Office Breeding Policy
Chapter 11: Written Limits
Ethan woke up sticky, sore, and harder than any moral crisis should allow.
Kai was already awake, sitting cross-legged on the mattress in Ethan’s borrowed skin, scrolling through a notes app with the focused expression of a man drafting a merger agreement instead of a sex policy.
"Morning," Kai said without looking up. "Your refractory period is a national treasure. I’ve been taking mental notes since sunrise. Also, you talk in your sleep. Mostly about indemnity clauses and once about my dick, adorable."
Ethan groaned and dragged a pillow over his face. "I will murder you with a red pen."
"Kinky. Save it for the rules document." Kai flipped the phone around so Ethan could see the screen. "I started without you. Bullet points, you’re welcome."
Ethan squinted at the list.
1. Everything voluntary. Explicit yes required every time.
2. No means no, immediately, no guilt trips.
3. No career consequences for declining.
4. Testing and protection conversation required before any fluid exchange.
5. Weekly review of the entire arrangement.
6. Either of us can shut the whole thing down for any reason.
7. No public spaces with cameras.
8. Ethan has full veto power on anything involving his name or reputation.
9. Kai is not allowed to describe the policy as "breeding initiative" in any document Harlan might see.
10. If we find a way to switch back, we take it. No arguments.
Ethan sat up slowly. The new body ached in places he refused to catalogue. "Number nine is going to be a problem for you."
"Number nine is why you’re here. Brakes, remember?" Kai tossed him a bottle of water. "Drink. Then we edit. I want this tight enough that even you can’t find a loophole."
They spent the next hour arguing over language like it was a client contract.
Ethan insisted on adding a clause about aftercare and check-ins. Kai insisted on a clause that allowed "spontaneous intervals" if both parties were already alone and consent was verbal and enthusiastic. Ethan added a line that any pregnancy risk had to be discussed in advance and in writing. Kai stared at that one for a long time, then typed "agreed" without a joke.
When they finished, the document was two pages and the most surreal thing either of them had ever written.
Kai saved it to both their phones. "Official as it gets, now we test it."
"Against what?"
Kai’s smile was slow. "Priya already booked the follow-up. And this morning I got a calendar invite from someone in Legal named Marcus who ’wanted to discuss the wellness draft offline.’ The door isn’t just open, people are lining up."
Ethan felt the blood leave his face and head straight south again. "You’re enjoying this."
"I’m terrified and hard and slightly obsessed with how clean your handwriting is on the veto clause. It’s a complex emotional state. You’ll get used to it."
They went to the office separately.
Kai arrived first, wearing Ethan’s most boring shirt and the calm of a man who had already fucked two people in the last twelve hours and planned to keep the streak alive. Priya passed his cubicle at nine. She didn’t stop, but the look she gave him was pure private knowledge. Her cheeks were still faintly flushed, she walked like someone who could still feel the night before every time she sat down.
Marcus from Legal appeared at ten thirty.
He was tall, carefully dressed, and had the permanent expression of a man who spent his days turning human messes into enforceable language. He stopped at the cubicle wall and spoke quietly.
"The second draft, the clean one. I have questions, off the record."
Kai leaned back in Ethan’s chair. "I’m listening."
Marcus glanced around, then dropped his voice further. "Is it theoretical, or is there already a working version?"
Kai held his gaze. "There is a working version, strict rules, written, voluntary only. You want the details, you ask directly and you accept that the answer might be no."
Marcus’s throat moved. "I’m asking."
"Tonight, after seven. Stairwell between 26 and 27. Bring your own yes, if you change your mind before then, don’t show up."
Marcus nodded once and walked away like nothing had happened.
Kai texted Ethan immediately.
Ethan (Kai): Legal just opted in for a conversation. Tonight, stairwell. You in or are you vetoing?
The reply took four minutes.
Kai (Ethan): I’m in. If only to make sure you don’t rewrite the rules the second my back is turned.
Ethan (Kai): that’s the spirit. also I’m hard again. your body has opinions about contract lawyers, fascinating data.
Kai (Ethan): stop narrating
Ethan (Kai): never, see you at seven. try not to look like you’re about to commit a felony. it ruins the soft-boy branding.
Ethan spent the afternoon failing to do anything useful with Kai’s day. The phone stayed off, the jacket stayed on. He sat in a park three blocks away and reread the rules document until the words blurred.
At six, he walked back into Meridian Capital feeling like he was about to witness a second crime scene in the same building.
Kai was already on the landing, sleeves rolled, expression unreadable. Marcus arrived two minutes later, tie loosened, pulse visible in his throat.
Kai spoke first. "Still yes?"
Marcus looked at both of them. "Still yes."
Kai glanced at Ethan. "Veto?"
Ethan shook his head once. His voice came out rough. "No veto. Rules stand."
Kai smiled, small and sharp. "Then we proceed."
He didn’t lock anything this time. He simply stepped into Marcus’s space and asked, voice low, "How do you want it?"
Marcus’s answer was barely audible. "Hard. Quiet. Don’t make me look at him while you do it."
Kai turned Marcus to face the wall, opened his own pants, and pushed inside him in one slow, relentless stroke. Marcus’s forehead dropped against the concrete. A broken sound left him. Kai set a deep, controlled pace, one soft hand braced beside Marcus’s head, the other gripping his hip hard enough to bruise.
Ethan watched from three feet away, cock aching, rules document burning a hole in his pocket.
Kai fucked the lawyer like he was redlining a contract, precise, thorough, no wasted motion. When Marcus started shaking, Kai reached around and stroked him in time with the thrusts until he came against the wall with a choked-off cry. Kai followed a minute later, buried deep, pulsing hard enough that Ethan could see the tremor run through both of them.
Afterward Kai pulled out, fixed both their clothes with clinical efficiency, and said, quietly, "Weekly check-in still stands. You know where to find me if you want out."
Marcus nodded without turning around. His voice was wrecked. "I won’t want out."
He left first.
Kai leaned against the railing and looked at Ethan. Both of them were hard. Neither of them pretended otherwise.
"Two intervals in two days," Kai said. "Still within the rules, still voluntary, still terrifying."
Ethan stepped closer until the new height difference made Kai tilt his face up. "You’re going to turn this entire floor into a free-use zone before the quarter ends."
"I’m going to turn it into a place where people stop lying about what they need." Kai reached down and pressed his soft palm against Ethan’s cock through the jeans. "And you’re going to keep watching, and keep vetoing when it matters, and keep getting hard every time the rules get tested. That’s the arrangement, that’s the plot, that’s us."
Ethan kissed him hard enough to hurt, right there on the landing, and tasted the residual heat of two different men on the mouth that used to be his.
When he pulled back, Kai’s eyes were dark and delighted.
"My place," Ethan said. "Now, I need to add an amendment."
Kai’s grin was pure sin. "Look at you. Speaking fluent contract. I knew the soft body would corrupt you eventually."
