Chapter 237: 237/I Imagined You Fucking Me

Chapter 237

Stephanie’s point of view

I swallowed the dry lump in my throat. Tilting my head slightly in an act of subtle submission, I rested my hand gently on the frame of the open door.

"On the contrary, Mr. Vincetti..." I murmured softly, "...I am your obedient employee. I certainly wouldn’t do that."

His sharp gaze locked onto my face for several agonizing seconds, scrutinizing every pale inch of my features.

Taking a slow step closer, he tilted his head. "Did you hit your head on something, Miss Miller?" he asked softly.

I planted my feet firmly on the ground, keeping my arms neatly by my side. "No, I did not."

Vincetti closed the remaining distance between us. He leaned down slightly, bringing his face inches from mine, peering directly into my eyes.

"Have you lost your memory?" he whispered, his breath brushing my cheek.

Behind my back, my hidden fingers curled into a tight, desperate fist, my nails biting hard into my palm.

"No, Mr. Vincetti," I answered, unblinking.

He tilted his head back, letting out a sharp, amused exhale through his nose. "Do you have a secret twin?"

The fragile wall of patience I had built shattered in a split second. My restraint snapped, and the words ripped through my teeth before I could filter them:

"Fuck off! It’s me, Stephanie. What the hell is wrong with you?!"

A slow, satisfied smirk spread across his lips. He nodded with dark amusement, clearly recognizing the fire behind my eyes.

"Ah... yes," he said smoothly, straightening his suit jacket. "Now I’ll get in the car."

He slid into the front passenger seat. With a trembling hand, I shut the heavy door behind him, holding back a shudder before hurrying back around to the driver’s side.

The moment I closed my door, his heavy, woody cologne flooded the leather interior, saturating the air and thickening the suffocating tension between us.

Vincetti shifted his broad frame toward me, leaning slightly across the center console. His dark eyes hungrily consumed every detail of my face and exposed skin.

"You look exceptionally elegant and beautiful this morning," he noted, his gaze lingering on the neckline of my blue dress.

I locked my eyes straight onto the leather-wrapped steering wheel, my hands gripping it tightly at the ten and two positions.

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Vincetti," I replied, my voice completely flat.

His deep voice vibrated softly in the enclosed space, dripping with dark confidence as he rested his arm against his door.

"I see you’ve accepted what happened yesterday much better today," he murmured.

I turned my head, looking directly into his piercing eyes, completely ignoring the violent coil of nausea twisting in my stomach.

"I thought long and hard about what happened..." I lied smoothly, tilting my chin up with practiced poise. "...and I realized that you want me. I actually liked that very much."

His confident smirk widened. He leaned back into the plush leather, watching my reaction with a slow, sadistic triumph.

"Mmm... Does that mean you want me, too?" he asked, his dark eyebrows arching in challenge.

I launched the very first move of my game.

Extending my right hand, I placed my fingers firmly over his heavy thigh, feeling the dense muscle beneath the suit fabric. Leaning slightly toward him, I locked my eyes onto his with a gaze burning with calculated deception.

"I can’t seem to get your touch out of my mind..." I whispered.

I bit down hard on my lower lip, letting out a soft, shuddering exhale between us as my fingers slowly stroked his leg.

"I stayed up all night imagining you..." I confessed, my voice dropping into an intoxicating purr. "...imagining your hands all over me, fucking me."

Vincetti fixed his stern gaze on my face for several agonizing seconds each one stretching into an eternity. The faint smirk playing on his lips slowly dissolved. His dark brows pulled together, a sharp, dangerous suspicion settling between us and wrapping the inside of the car in a heavy silence.

His dark pupils dropped, tracking down to where my hand rested flat against his thigh. He studied the stillness of my fingers, noting how close I was positioning myself, before snapping his head back up. He drove his eyes directly into mine.

Reaching out, his rough fingers clamped heavily around my jaw. He drove his thumb firmly against my lower lip, using just enough pressure to force me to release it from between my teeth.

"Volunteering with such audacity doesn’t suit your pride, Stephanie..." he remarked, his voice dropping into a low tone laced with deep distrust. His eyes read every micro-expression on my face. "...Since when did the cruelty you despise so much turn into a desire teasing your imagination at night?"

I didn’t break eye contact. Instead, I let out a slow, deliberate exhale, allowing my fingers to trace gently over the heavy fabric of his trousers. I smoothed my palm further up his thigh without a single trace of hesitation.

"Fear ends the moment you stop fighting it, Mr. Vincetti," I whispered. I tilted my head slightly toward him, our uneven breaths mingling in the tight space. "And why should I resist a man who holds all this power—a man who can take whatever he wants with the simple wave of a finger?"

His eyes narrowed into dangerous slits. Shifting his broad frame, he leaned in so close his scorching breath fanned directly across the sensitive skin of my neck. His hand slid down from my jaw, clamping tightly around my wrist to freeze my moving fingers.

He pressed his thumb firmly against my pulse point, as if physically measuring the erratic pounding of my blood.

"The feral cat rubs against her master this easily now?" he growled in mockery, his upper lip curling into a dark, sinister sneer. "Or is this just a pathetic attempt to distract me before I take what I really came for?"

I gently, slowly slipped my hand from his grip. I brought my fingers back to the leather-wrapped steering wheel, establishing a firm, steady hold.

Shifting into gear, I turned the wheel and pulled the car smoothly out onto the main boulevard, keeping that mysterious, unreadable smile playing on my lips:

"Put whatever spin on it makes you comfortable... The coming days will prove whether I’m putting on an act, or if I’ve finally learned how to play the game."
